the point of character chat is to discuss the character

ofcourse its not all positive.

i for one loved all the new characters in mkda and i'm glad some of them are in MKD.

both bo and li mei are great additions.

Well no-one reely said owt about playing as him, whether I can or not is not the topic in this thread.
Ur basically statin the obvious, this is a character chat and yep not all of it can be positive. Tar v ery much .
Who knows what he mite be like in MK:D, as I said tho, I hope hes drastically improved. THEN he will get MY approval. I appreciate if people are into him now. Thats the joy of havin opinions! I
I just hope everyone respects everyone elses and doesnt post just to oppose someone elses *cough cough*

now, u mention improvements.

do u mean gameplay or story or appearance?

i agree..that improvements shall be made for each character.

but some believe bo rai cho was too powerful, do u wish to tone him down?

in mkda, he was a fallen teacher and a drunk.

at the end..he learned to respect himself after teaching kung lao again.

so perhaps in MKD he wont be such a slob.

Well...with Li Mei, I can only think of two words: jiggly boobs. tongue

in this game, she might be a minion of the Dragon King. it would be interesting. she didn't have much of a storyline in MK: DA and perhaps she'll have a more interesting one in MK: Deception. It seems she's keeping her unarmed styles which is good as long as they are enhanced. Her weapon style sounds odd. I guess we'll find out more about it later on.

As for Bo' Rai Cho (I know we're supposed to talk about Li Mei now) but anyway...supposedly, he's going to have Sumo instead of Mi Zong.

Li Mei has unlimited potential in Deception, looks like she's evil this time around, possessed or something, definately looks interesting, can't wait to read her bio, should be a good one.

Well, I'm just happy that Li Mei has finally returned. smile

While she does have the asian styled armor I'm still not sure if I believe she's with the Dragon King. But if she is that would be fine by me.

Well I like Li Mei. I liked her in MK:DA. I thnk that she's pretty good for a new character. But now that she comes back looking like one of the DK's army I think that she is going to be 2 times better.

i hope sektor returns as a pumped up mecha, with his soul back, see, a cyborg, but having a soul, so he can feel pain and emotions, giving him more variety in his story, so the beginning could be, his spirit travels around looking for his soul less body, but finds his robotic form instead, so he enters it, now in control of his actions, he sets out, looking for whoever it was who killed him and replaced him with this monstrosity... his ending could be, he finally finds and kills the person who replaced him [and the others] with soul less cyborgs, he then begins to leave, setting out for his quest to find his body, but with his last breath, the man who made him cyborg, reveals the horrible truth, the cyborg IS his body... [like cyrax's alt. in MKDA] sektor turns facing the man, and aims his wrist at him, blasting him with flames, watching the man burn and crackle, he opens his chest, pulls out some dynamite, and self destructs, knowing he'll never be the same...

how was that for a storyline? i dont think it was very good, but it was a good start in the rumor mill...

Sektor will return. Trust me on this one mister_satan666. He will have a huge role in this game as well and will most likely have to do with Sub-Zero's and Smoke's storyline.

I hope he'll have styles like Fuma-Ryu Ninjitsu, the oldest style of Ninjitsu and the closest to that of the Lin Kuei fighting arts.

Sektor will probably try to conquer Japan as well as try to destroy the Lin Kuei. Perhaps, he and Mavado can join forces.

We have no proof that Sektor's in the game. Until I see a screen shot, that cyber Ninja is Smoke.

the cyber ninja is sektor if you blow up the picture you see red

i think smoke is alredy on the select screen i think he is on the top left i only think that lets not start another smoke debat this week is sektors turn

he is probably gonna look identical to cyrax from mkda because they were built of the same blue prints keep in mind that sektor was the prototype so he might be a little slower

Imo, Ashrah is easily the best new character and definitely the most intriguing of the lot.

Her special moves are great. I like her look and the mystery that surrounds her.

Her role as a demon huntress is interesting, but it is still not known if she is good or evil. They say that she is trying to purify herself from evil which makes her even more interesting. We can assume she is evil here as she is purifying herself from it. However, this doesn't necessarily mean she is evil as she could be good or maybe an evil person turning to good. Maybe she needs to track down the dmeons that made her evil or maybe she must hunt them down and destroy them to cure herself.

Also, she may have a conection with Raiden, but they are nothing alike except for the white clothing and the hat.

I am looking forward to seeing Ashrahs bio. And I can't wait to play as her! She'll be the first new charcter I pick!

Yes Ashrah is by far the most interesting new character to me. And ur right its great to finally see an MK woman thats not skantilly clad. Although there's nothing wrong with that, it just got alittle old and tiresome to me.

But anyway, the idea of her trying to purify herself from evil is great, if this hold true its almost as if she's a neutral character and only looking out for herself, and we all know how cool neutral characters are. Is there any word on what her weapon will be. And what are her special abilites anyway, ive been away for a while.wow

Ashrah the Demon Huntress...is she someone who hunts demons or a demon who hunts? Does she dress similiar to Rayden to honor him, or to insult him? (Or maybe its just Midway's strange need for funny hats) The mystery shall continue until the game comes out and there is a chance it will not be resolved even then. We still don't know much about Frost after all.
