When I heard that Baraka was the first confirmed character for MK:D, I literally got sick to my stomach. I hate Baraka. He's ugly, he's boring, and his story is completely simplistic and one-dimensional. He's a mutant who works for *insert here*, and he's apparently hooked up with Mileena. That's it. That's ALL he has going. I apologize if this post offends anybody. Although I dislike Mileena even more, at least one can use her renders for PG-13 porn. WTF can ya do with Baraka?

But don't get me wrong. I'm glad he's in the game. I don't like Sindel either, but the fact the they're fresh choices makes the game itself fresh and more interesting. I think I got a bit bored with MKDA's cast so quickly because it was simply all the definitive characters plus a few newbs. So yay for Baraka I guess.

i meant the colour coordination. but any way, baraka, in my opinion, was the best fighter in MKII fighting wise. the only negative thing about his fighting was his Blade Spark, as it wasn't that powerful.

Baraka is the best MK character of all times in my opinion. He's stylish, cool and very strong. I dunno what are they going to do with his fighting styles, fatalityes and story, but all I want is:
1. Fatalityes: blade lift from MK2 and something new. As brutal as this one.
2. Fighting styles: I'm gonna fight with his blades (in the weapon style), so I don't care about other of his fighting styles. But if you ask me........ Something special..... Nothing from the real fighting styles..... Some styles called "Nomad" or "Mutant".........
3. Story: ........No, no way. I dunno what Midway are up to and not gonna invent something...

I hate to sound dumb, but in mkda you can see a video from mk4, i think, and there Quan Chi kills him. So, did that hapen or not? btw, Baraka rocks, and i'm looking forward to playing him. Like i said on Special move chat, Woul'd it be cool if he punched the opponent in the gut without blade, then folding out the blade straight into his opponent? Oh, btw, the guy who wrote "baraka sux like" a 1000 times, that's pathetic. Hail baraka, and who's next on character chat?

and we dont know if the baraka dying ending is carried over. as we all know parts of endings get carried over. they may just use the fact that quan chi killed him as part of baraka's story.

Yeah, Baraka should have a brutal style. Maybe he should have something like Krav Maga.

To the person that suggested Capoeira for Baraka: I think Capoeira would suit someone like Tanya more than Baraka.

i think his fatality should be him putting his blades together like scissors and cutting off their head then movong down to the waist cutting them in half then just taking one big swipe cutting them off at the knees

I just always had this idea of baraka cutting the front half of the opponents face off and putting a mask over it and blood drips out from under it. Brutal huh.

Also thought off one where he moves his blades in lightning speed, and sort of kung lao's hat split, very brief pause, then the opponent suddenly falls appart, but into about ten slices.LOL

with milieena back, what role will she play with sindel? does milieena consider sindel to be her mother? is this a plan to get the edinian kingdom?

Well, first off, i wouldnt consider Mileena ugly. Shes only ugly with her mask off, but with it on, shes damn right SEXAY! But yea, thats my opinion.

For her story, i dont want to see her trying to find out if sindel is her mother, to me, that seems kind of odd. She was created as a clone, and was meant to assassinate Kitana if she tried anything funny. I basically want to see mileena trying to kill kitana and doing other things.

With the game being called Deception, i'm curious as to if Mileena and Baraka will have problems. I personally love it when they work as a team trying to dominate all realms for themself, but there could be a possibility of them breaking up and going there own ways. Maybe Mileena would want to try to bring back shinnok, or try to revive kahn, while baraka on the other hand, would want to side with the dragon king and kill kahn. There could be other situations to. Baraka could probably form an alliance with a totally different stranger that wants to betray the dragon king.

I also want baraka to have the mind of killing the dragon king wants hes finished doing all the battling. Baraka has always wanted to do this to kahn, so i do see him trying to do this to the dragon king. Then maybe at the end baraka could take it all for himself.

Anyways, i'm going off topic to baraka lol, i forgot its about mileena. As i quoted before, i would like to see the couple working together. Mileena and baraka could join together to kill kitana and sindel, and maybe mileena could decieve baraka at the end if she wanted to. Maybe Mileena will join forces with noob saibot, trying to bring shinnok back, not to mention kahn. I think mileena has great potential, shes one of the best MK characters, and one of my favourites.

I want to see her sais back. The ground roll was cool to. Also, it would be cool to see the nail spit fatality turned into a special move. Instead of shooting nails all over the opponent though, she would shoot just a little of not alot.

I'm actually really tired at the moment, i'll think of more ideas for her, and her fatalities. Same with her story. But for now, all i gotta say is, Mileena is an awesome character. I want her and baraka to dominate!

Well Mileena huh? I'm pretty sure her loyalties lie with the Dragon King, and she may be an enemy of Baraka, judging from the trailer, or maybe that was just to confirm that two popular characters have returned. Mileena gameplay wise will probably like Li Mei and Kitana mixed, smooth and slightly more offensively orientated. Her fatalities should be cool, I think the bone spit would look badass with MKD's graphics.

I was thinking that Nitara's fatality in MK:DA would work better if Mileena did it. They could even alter the ending a bit , because in MK:DA the end was anti-climatic.

Well she basically started off as a clone of Kitana created by the sorceror Shang Tsung. She fights Kitana sometime around the MK2 storyline and Kitana kills her. Then Shao Kahn brings Mileena back to life because he needs her since she can read Kitana's thoughts and stuff but Mileena is secretly working for Shinnok.

Accodring to Kitana's ending in MK Gold, Mileena falls down in some sort of trap thing and is killed. We can't really be too sure if that really occured in the storyline. Maybe it did or maybe it didn't. We'll just have to find out.

To be honest, I never really felt that Mileena's storyline was that strong or in-depth but at least it's better than Kitana's storyline.

When it comes to looks, she basically looks like Kitana except that she wears pink instead of blue, she has sais instead of fans and she has hideous looking teeth underneath that mask and Kitana doesn't. But what can I say, she's a clone of Kitana. I'm glad that they tried to make her look different from Kitana in MK Gold even though I never played the game but I've seen what she looks like. Now it seems that they've gone for that whole "I dream of Jeanie" type look with Mileena or some kind of belly dancer type look which I don't mind too much. (and I didn't say that for perverted reasons either! )

Gameplay wise, I found her to be.....ok...She was decent in MK2. I didn't like her combo system in UMK3-MKT that much and I've never played MK Gold so I don't really know what she was like gameplay wise. For fighting styles, she should of course have her Sais as her weapon style and I'm pretty sure that she'll have her Sais as her weapon style. She's considered as one of the "female ninjas" so I guess she could have a style of Ninjitsu. There is a style of Ninjitsu created by a woman and the style is called Kunoichi-Ryu but other people sometimes refer to it as Kunoichijitsu. Either way, it'd suit her well and I'd expect to be a fast style. I'm not sure about her other unarmed style....I'll probably get back to you all on that one
