Cinder, from the official Midway Boards, has confirmed that the recently released Mortal Kombat: Armageddon will be compatible with Microsoft's XBox 360! Whether or not the petition set up by this and multiple fansites was the cause will remain unknown, however it is a nice thought to imagine the MK community's voice was heard by such a large company.
As of this writing, the petition's purpose has been fully completed. With Mortal Kombat: Deception's addition to the backwards compatibility list less than two months ago, this announcement fulfills the hopes of every person who signed the petition during June and July.
