Neither DP and me - it's ridiculous! However, I just came back from my fist 40 online matches and instantly fell in love with the game. If you stick to people with 4-star connections lag is not an issue and you're able to pull off all of your crazy combos.

It makes no difference which company you support.. Nintendo, Sony or Microsoft. They are all as bad as one another and they all have an eye on the bottomline - which is making money for their shareholders. Gamers, however, need not worry about that shit. It has nothing to do with gaming. I own the three systems so I'm not affiliated with any of them but I have to say that XBOX 360 is better overall. Plus I used to play on PS2.

I use the Wii for party gaming with friends and PS3 for region free-gaming but for solid online experience, 360 is the way to go.

It's not about gaming in general. I just seriously dislike some of MS's practices and marketing behaviors - be it their crappy windows operating systems, their intention to spy personal customer data or their excessively shoddy hardware (you too will experience the red ring of death in the future). I just can't stand them in general.

I'm supporting Sony (and Nintendo) as these guys exactly deliver what I'm seeking in terms of hardware and software. Their online performance is, up to this point in time, admittedly below standard but that's the trade-off I have to make.

I hear you, Wrath. However, I can guarantee you that each of these companies engage in unethical practices to maintain competitive edge. Sony tried it with DRM rootkit. Nintendo has had their flaws. The business world is the survival of the fittest. If Sony were to be put in Microsoft's position, I can guarantee you that they wouldn't pass up on it. Why do you think Sony's PS3 cost so much? Not because they wanted to give consumers what they want but simply because they wanted to kill off HD-DVD and including Bluray on PS3 did exactly that but unfortunately consumers are paying the price for their business model.

Greed and Power controls them all and it is flawed logic to think that one is actually better than the other. They all try whatever it takes to kill competition and would all overcharge consumers if they can simply to make more money for their shareholders. I stilll ask why the Nintendo Wii cost so much. Dreamcast's chipset is as good as Wii yet Wii cost so much and Dreamcast is dead. That's exactly why I don't take a fanboy attitude to any of them. I judge them by their products and only that. For instance, I love slim PS2. I wish they could make the current generation that small. Wii has a really good size too. I wish Sega were still in the console gaming business though because the Dreamcast was sweet.

My point is, most companies with shareholders engage in unethical practices in one way or another to stay on top. It is the survival of the fittest. Sometimes they get away with it, sometimes they don't. As a consumer, if we choose to boycotting them based on this alone, we will without a doubt end up living off-the-grid in no time. So what do I do, I leave it to the regulating bodies to fine their asses for unethical practices. But if the product is good, I will get and use it to my benefit because I believe people drive innovations but unfortunately the same companies we love to hate are those that pay them for their effort.

Well said! However, there's another issue to deal with (for me anyways): Quite frankly, I neither have the time nor the financial means to afford yet another console at the moment. Trust me, I'd love to try Gears of War and experience the online service by myself but I'm busy enough already.

No way, Wrath! Don't be a dumbass such as myself keeping consoles I never even play. I haven't played my Wii in about 3months. I only started playing games again on my 360 last month because of MK and GOW2. I was talking to DelPrev to about lack of time issue as well. You have a PS3 already, you don't need to have an XBOX. I just like to tease about PSN but I know it's not that bad. If you started out with a Wii, however, you would have had to invest more money on a real system by getting either 360 or PS3. I'm sure there are enough games on PS3 too. Gears of War 2 is pretty sweet though. MAN!

Game's fantastic! 235 wins - 65 losses. I was playing Style just now and had some great fights as we went through the roster. I've mastered Green Lantern and Superman by now and both of them are awesome with their distinct skills and characteristics.

My entire roster now consists of:

- Kitana
- Scorpion
- Jax (sporadically)
- Green Lantern

- Captain Marvel

Dude, I'm currently ranked 36 and just came back beating someone with over 500 wins and roundabout 100 losses. I'm just that good.

On a serious note, your problems could be due to firewall settings that prevent you from connecting to others. It happens to me as well but apparently not as often...
