well, this is not entirely true! the ranking system does show a bit who's good and who isn't. Not always ofcourse, I agree. But, those with a rank better than 200 mostly give me some resistance (not referring to those who only use KAK, Puzzler any1?), which cannot always be said from those with a rank worse than 300 or so.

Hey guys, I should be online this evening at some point so I hope to catch some of you there and have some good battles. I'm not as good in MKA as I was in MKD and I'm not sure why exactly? I think it's cos I try to play the game the same even though with parries and wake up it's different (slightly)

Oh well, practice makes perfect I suppose! It has to be said though, my Kai is causing quite a few people headaches. They always seem to quit after one match if I beat them with the weakest character in the game Hehehe

Fabioo, of course you're a good player but please don't get it all mixed up! - The last time I played you I think you went 4-1 up but ended 7-4 to you after I figured out your style and effectively narrow the edge. I also played your new clan member last night and while he is a good player I don't think he would put himself on a level you're trying to sell him. We are all still learning but he is simply not on the same level as these guys you're disrespecting.

I don't spend as much time playing MKA as much as I'd like so I doubt we'd be here having this conversation but power to you for the level at which you play the game but try and not get cocky it; it's early days and with all due respect, you're not in my top 5 or that better than most of these guys.

Dude, you should read more carefully. I did not say there is something wrong with them. All I am saying is that I do NOT play this game because of the fatalities. I liked them,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, when I was 12! I think they are a waste of time. Just my opinion....

I can only speak for MK:D yet but that should be woth it dude. On the one hand u can speak whenever you want (while fighting of course) and on the other there are some hilarous people out there

I remember one time playing some guy with a headset: He had a party at the same time I fought him and therefore many people were at his home (I could hear them all through the headset, hehe).
The funny thing now was the fact that they fought me all one after another (total noobs, lol) and because I was in a good mood I reduced my health bar after each win I got for 10 percent (you know, the handicap system).

At the end I reached the 80 percent range (only 20 percent of health left)... Suddenly ALL of them cried so loud: "OMG, this can ́t be trueeeeeee, he must be maaaaaaad" or something - well, I beat them again and their comments were hilarous! I kept laughing and it was just very, very amusing!

So to sum it up: YES, i can defintely recommend you a headset! It works very well and you can use it for other games as well.
Besides, you can also use it with the upcoming PS3 - if thats an issue for you.

Yup I got one but I rarely use it because of all the shit talkers. would be good to chat amongst my fellow DAs cos the chat in the lobby is really rubbish on MKA, half the time it doesn't even send the message - like if you get challenged by someone and I just sent the text?! WTF?
