If it is a joke, I hope the only joke is the confirmed characters list......Guess what my favorite character isn't on it (yet). If the character list is a joke, (Hey 8 new characters?) then there's a bigger chance for the thunder god to make his return.

this maybe a little off topic, but... if boon is only the CO-creator... who is the MAIN creator...i mean, i have played every mortal kombat game since the first one ever got released... and i have never heard of him..only ed boon, ed boon is the ONLY one i've heard of or seen... you'd think the main creator would be the one so well-known, but its the co-creator.. weird

I don't believe that the mini games are an apirl fools joke. The only AF joke they made was Rancid from time killer in MK advance.

Too much work has already been put into this game for it to be a joke. It would be one thing if PSM put it in a small section only, but not on the cover. Their sales every other April after that would drop unless they released it AS a joke, and then it would just be pointless anyways. Besides, on both of the previous two MK Games that turned out to be jokes, the graphics were obviously Photoshopped and the information was ridiculous. The only info as of yet that could even be considered questionable is the claim that EVERY character will be in Konquest Mode.

When was the "Button Combinations" statement made on Fight Night for MKDA? What was the date? I wonder if the Final Secret for MKDA was some kind of Joke.

John Tobias is the (1 of 2) co-creator of mortal kombat. Beat any Mortal Kombat Game, mk1-mk4, and you will see, creators "Ed Boon" and "John Tobias" in the credits, it is also very well known that john and Ed created the series. Also when they use the Term Co-creator, it does not demonstrate that the co-creator is of lesser important, it merly states that the game didn't not have a singular creator, and that "co" is added to properly demonstrate that they both created the game in conjuction.


Also I don't think it's a joke, mainly due to the fact that companies would not want to waste that much capital over a joke... 10 plus pages, and all the time they spent going to game day.. they would do more harm than good.

like i said just watch when april fools comes along.. goto the main deception page and some render or mabe some faky pic will be shown..

Come on guys, all the news that were in PSM were confirmed at Midway's conference day so Gamespot and IGN made their previews. All is 100% truth.

The only joke in the PSM article was when Boon said Santa , the Easter Bunny , Spider Man , etc. would be in the game.

Things I HOPE are a joke : Sub's alternate costume and that only 24 players will be in the game.
