Ed Boon and PSM's APRIL FOOLS JOKE

the psm that first featured MKD was april, PSM and ED BOON have made tons of big beleivable april fools jokes before, the games name is DECEPTION, and the konquest/chess/tetris modes are really low quality, i am currently at a school making poly and nurbs models, and i know that these low qual models can be slaped together really quick, what if this was a HUGE april fools joke, the fighting i doubt is fake, but i think it could be the best & worst april fools joke ever

no, i think that the konquest mode, the tetris mode, and the chess mode could all be april fools joke, the fighting and levels are all to high quality to be a fake

no its very unlikely, PSM is not the only video game informational magazine or website which posted things on MKD. Plus the trailer scene between Baraka and Mileena was way too high quality to just be a waste of time. Unless Gamespot, GameSpy, etc. all got together to pull off this prank I highly doubt its an April Fools joke.

Well it might just be Boon and the MK team's April Fool's joke. After all, Boon did say in the PSM interview that magazine editors will be decieved. wink I doubt it though, even if they aren't very high quality pics.
It's all real, it would not be very smart to pull a prank like that.

Other magazines have referred the Chess, Konquest and Tetris modes as well so I don't think it's a joke. If it is, it's definitely a very very bad joke.

who cares about the game!? if konquest mode, tetris and chess modes arent in this game... BOON IS DEFINATELY LOSING A FAN... i willnot settle for a damn joke like this... if he's planning on an AF's joke, it better just be mileena's outfit... i'd rather lose a half naked beautiful sexy woman fighter than those 3 modes...furious

you're giving boon too little credit, I think he knows what the consequences would be of pulling a stunt like that. Do you really believe he would risk losing as many fans as he would by jerking them around like this?

No, no, and no. Tney are using models with less detail, because there are too many characters on screen. Platform limits, that's all.
The tetris game... well, it's a freaking tetris, how many polys do you need to make a block? The small fighters look fine IMO.
And the most important reason why it is NOT a joke. There are people that will not understand such humor. The others will begin to question every new feature the game has to offer. It is not a joke, if it is, it's the worst marketing move ever!

i know it isnt april yet, but it doesnt matter, it was the APRIL ISSUE OF PSM, thats why there april fools jokes alwasy get every one, i mean Shit EGM's May Issue is out, where they talked about there april fools joke of the "psp game LOTR Cart Racing", along with a really good picture of gandalf takin a sharp curve around a corner with a cave troll in the back, that came out in febuary, but because it was their april issue, it was their april fools joke
