I think they are going to show all the people that no one expected to be in the game first, then show the rest that is obvious.

sub and scorp are obvious entries. but someone like baraka out of nowhere? that will get some excitement going. good job to the mk team for releasing this render.

I think the shining yellow eyes are better becuase it looks like pure energy,like an explosion to attack somebody.

The black eyes are also good,but not so impulsiv.

Well I am very glad to see developments for the new game. Baraka was always a favorite character.

This render is for the birds however. This is surely for a cinematic (the textures are too clear for real-time) which means they should be all the more better. The ridges in his head are a good idea, the giant bump for his skin is terrible. His mouth is probably the worst part. True it's tough to do a mouth like that but before he always seemed to have an evil grin. Now he looks like a dopey great white shark. We are probably seeing this 6 months to a year early so like mentioned before alot can change.

I'm not exited about the picture, just the news.

Okay, now that's out of the way, my observations:

People have said wherever there's Baraka there's Mileena. That's what people said about Kitana in MKDA, but there was no Mileena there...

His arms are skinny, to me it looks like bone, but then he has a vein or two. So I'm thinking he lost a good deal of his flesh, it's just skin on bone in many areas now.

He appears to have some sort of dark purple band across those massive 'bone suspenders', which we can see parts of a silver design standing out on it...

He could do with bigger teeth and some more natural saliva, but it does look like a screencap from a video, and thus it would not be as premeditated for what the frame specifically consists of. In video form, it may well look very convincing.

Baraka is going to be in. This is a render not a sketch. Also all renders of people from MK: DA made it into the game. On the MK6 pic news I can'twait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PS I bet one of the senior MK staff sent the pic -_-

To a degree, I guess. I'm glad that the creators are listening to the fans, and it's nice to finally have a shred of evidence that mk6 is more than just a name. But I must admit, when I saw the picture, my heart sank.

You see... ah, I'll just come clean. I don't like Baraka. There are so many underrated characters I wanted to see back, yet they're reviving Baraka for the THIRD time(counting trilogy). To me, he's just a mutant with a one-dimensional story who is allied with a character I like even less. And now the odds of old obscure favorites returning have lowered with each verified returning character. Still, I'm happy for you guys(or at least I'm trying to be). But I'm not ungrateful. Kudos to the programmers for hearing the fans. If 99% of the crowd likes him, then I guess he should be back.

I creamed my pants. Baraka has been my favorite character in MK since I first saw him. Oh God I SO cannot wait for this. I hope the new PSM has info on MK6, I'll buy it and read it probably. This is MKDA hype all over again and it feels good.

Unless his spirit is revived as part of the story I agree on changing his eyes to black.. and making his teeth more metallic. But my being nit picky wont change it.

The other characters are more than likely just as dark looking. If the taste they gave us is really a part of the big picture this game should be uncanny.

thats one hell of a pic of baraka. im glad he's back in mk6.
