Liu Kang's fatality = 4/10

What is so special using a once crappy fatality again on a crappy game like this ? You get a god awful fatality . Also look at Joker's legs . Are you serious ? The legs go over the arcade ? Ok I had enough of talking about talking about this fatality , enough said .

Batman's " Heroic Brutality... " = 2/10

Geez.....Errr......wow.........damn.. . This is the worst " Heroic Brutality... " I have ever seen of all the other finishers , I am not joking ! I really thought it might have gotten little better from the bats coming in , but NO , instead Kano crawls up like a baby ( Yet Kano isn't and he is a THUG doing this !?!?! " ) like hes trying to gather warmth and shit and moving his legs like a little bitch . This " Heroic Brutality... " is a disgrace to even being in MK . I started gathering tears behind my eyes after seeing this . Midway could be done for after this garbage ...

Baraka's fatality = 3.5/10

Looks like a bad ( and I mean BAD as in AWFUL ) version of Baraka's MKII Impale fatality . He never even raised the opponent up for 2 seconds , just slams the person behind himself in the floor . How many times the finishers dealt with a throw ?!?

I don't know if I will plan to get this game now . Seriously , this game is NOT WORTH $59.99 ( Plus tax ) ! ! ! It is definitely not worth the price for this god awful once known master piece gone gar-bitch... Maybe this is worth for Christmas or something ( May be my worst Christmas as well if I do get this game for Christmas . )

Oh well, at least they're better than the snes MK 1 fatalities.

An Arcade Machine for Liu Kang? This proves the lacks of creativity of Mr Boom. If nostalgia is the key, why simply make Liu Kang did his Fatality of MK1?

For Baraka, well, this in MK Gold was his throw. Amazing.

These fatalities are trash. They either just suck like the flash or they are reused like liu kang, they only 2 good ones were joker's and Sub-zero's when I buy this game i'm making sure i cut the fatality option off, and another thing, the music sounds so crappy.......

for all you muffins who like to cry,here is my opinion. midway hasn't been blessed with all the time for this game. they started with sratch and build up the characters.they had to make moves for characters, make a storyline that made sense, and make fatalitys.there is deadlines for games and they must finish games within certain deadlines. midway has gotta finish before the holidays. do u feel me. there are 20 characters 2 fatalitys each, so 40 fatalitys, midway aint got no time to get creative, they gotta get them done! dont hate on boon, he is trying his best. i swear that if midway had more time, they would make an incredible game for u, but you dont understand what they have to do. so, dont hate the player, hate the game

Wow I really wasen't expecting that, very good throw back to the good old MK3/UMK3/MKT days. As a brutality it would kick ass but as a fatal its kind of bad. I think when the arcade falls on the opponent you should see a few drops of blood and the character should not move, wtf is that? This is supposed to be a fatalitiy, they die! So yeah, could have did with just a dash of blood and an actual DEAD opponent.


BATMAN:

Pretty good for a brutality, but it could have been a little longer, these fatals would be better if they were longer but by them going by so quickly it really draws attention to the watered down affect. Batman's should have had the bats nibbling at the opponent for just a little while longer and lets hear the opponent scream,but pretty good.


BARAKA:

I was expecting his to be lame and it was. Come on midway, you could have used just a tad bit more blood, come on now. Or Baraka could have just impailed the opponent with his blades and held him up aka MKG(but with a few drops of blood falling). This was garbadge.

I agree... I thought it was weird, too, when the opponent continued to move and we didn't even get a single drop of blood. It's more of a Brutality than a Fatality since the opponent ends up being alive after all of that. You can also see some slight clipping by the knees, I'm not sure if that's because of Joker's pants. Still it's not bad though, I agree it was a good throw back and I could use some nostalgia.

people the reason lui kangs was called a fatality is most likely the way the game was programmed every MK character and DC villain had a FATALITY
and DC heroes had HEROIC BRUTALITY, most likely the on screen words were programmed into all specific genre of characters, before the fatalitys/brutalitys were created

why didnt anyone bitch about lui kangs and scorpions animalitys in MK4? the screen said fatality for both of them yet no one mentioned it.

also barakas fatality did have some blood but it was very little to notice.

batmans brutality was fine to me, and the scratches show up randomly because thats how game animation works, seriously learn how game animation works people, with what they are working with you cant animate scratches being made realistically with what they are working with plus the deadline, besides its a waist of effort since you wouldn't even bother to pay attention to quick scratching and tearing.


and for god sakes im tired of hearing people say " those finishers sucked im not buying this game now" seriously its fucking stupid to bitch and say this game sucks when everything else about it rocks. if you don't buy this game simply because you didn't like the fatality's instead of the awesome fighting system and everything else then your just a moron.
and quit kidding yourselves you know your gonna get this game other wise you wouldn't be on this forum or even be a fan of MK, this game is showing good promise than the last MK games. so quit saying your not gonna get it, because you will. just like the last few MK games you people bitched about and yet those games made greatest hits.

I like MK, besides even if I didn't maybe I once did, and still like to discuss the games future because it was part of my past. Besides, this "MK" game sucks in nigh every department, so it's not just crappy finishers, for your information.

Yeah that's not necessarily true. I'm an MK fan, I've visited the forums for some time now... I didn't bother buying MK:A though, even though I participated at the forum.

Liu's was my favorite. It's my favorite so far.

Liu's WAS funny. I like the way they don't completely disappear like in MK3. Makes it look more painful. Imagine having an arcade machine on your chest.
