GameTrailers.com Releases Exclusive Joker Game Play Footage and Fatality!

GameTrailers.com has release a brand new interview with MK vs DC Universe producer, Hector Sanchez. In the four minute interview, Hector gives some insight into the newly announced Rage Mode, as well as a sneak peak at the special moves and fatality of Batman's arch-nemesis, The Joker! The Joker appears to have a wide array of moves including an extending boxing glove, and an energy charged playing card projectile.

I like the fighting stance a lot, but damn the moves look so wooden!
It feels like shades of a smoother (and faster) Deception with some of those disjointed hits.

Fatality's great, though! Hah!

Pretty cool stuff! Joker's fatality is funny and brutal at the same time. I am still not liking that huge ass ribbon in Kitana's hair. It lacks any movement what so ever and seems to defy gravity all on its own.

Like the Fatality, hate the glowing eyes. If there's another Q&A with Boon, someone needs to ask him what's up with that. If it's just a placeholder before implementing unique character stances.

Ha! That was hardly one of the greatests moves in the history of fighting games.

However, that might have been the best fatality I have ever seen in MK.

What I didn't understand is why they had to make the Joker vanish into a cloud of green smoke just to pull off his moves. I think that is kind of lame.

The novelty of that move is just as they said... so people will have a harder time knowing what is coming just from the animation, therefore having a harder time to react/block whatever he's going to do.

It looks like they're trying pretty hard to make the Joker one of the best characters in the game. I'm wondering if every character is getting as much effort. Either way it's refreshing to see something different. He looks like a very offensive character. The stance is pretty funny and I'm happy they went with a stance like that for him. The glowing eyes thing looks pretty silly, but I'm not going to concern myself with small things like that. They don't matter in the end.

I doubt players will have a troublesome time guessing, since three attacks hit high and one hits low.

I reckon the glowing eyes has something to do with the story itself. Kind of like the Rage mode thing.

well, the Rage mode doesn't seem all that impressive but i will try it out before i make presumptions. The Joker's rather wooden fighting is not surprising. The Joker's not much of a fighter. I expected his fighting to be stiff. However, the fatality made me laugh. That was very entertaining.

LMAO.That may have been the best fatality i have ever seen.
I was wondering how the joker and rage mode was gonna work and not a big fan of the rage but the joker was pretty bad ass.Good times.

The Joker's Fatality is brilliant! The mix of brutality and humour is executed well. He does seem like he's going to be one of the more interesting and fun characters to use in the game. I look forward to seeing more gameplay footage of him.

That fatality made me flinch a bit, but I loved it.

The bullet went straight through Kitana's head! That was crazy! i had to watch it five more times! I love Joker's stance. It reminds me of the Cowardly Lion saying "Put 'em up, put 'em up." The boxing glove is a bit too comical, but everything else is just fine. Joker rocks!
