did anyone notice what the button commands for the joker's fatality were? looks like f,f,f square on the ps3. i'm not sure tho. he did it hella fast.

The joker looks great in the game and awesome fatality.
Damn it SHOULD have been more like the last dragon. Villains get a red glow and good guys/gals get a yellow glow. Then they'd be waving their arms around and it would create a distorted echo, and each punch would make sparks... ok maybe that's going a bit too far.
The Joker is amazing... I love it when he giggles like a school girl. Out of the 3 finishers we've seen so far, this one is definitely the best.

That fatality actually made me chuckle. It wasn't the fake "bang", it was more of how Kitana fell over like a stiff board. *plop* 
As far as the RAEG mode is concerned,it's pretty much what I assumed it to be: it's basically a super-armor that negates all damage animations,allowing to just fucking tank your opponent. This,doesn't mean that you aren't taking damage; you still are,it's just that you're not reeling back from the strikes. I wonder if it would be possible to knock the RAEGer down wirth certain attacks,forcing him to waste precious time getting up.
Still not sure about the whole "inflicting more damage than usual even when the opponent blocks" thing. I assume that's what Hector meant,and if that's indeed the case,it does make sense. Besides,maybe that's just me,but it didn't seem like it increased your power all that drastically. It would probably show better in combos.
I hope he'll elaborate on it in the next MKast.

AMAZING. I like the fact that they're trying to make the joker look credible. His fighting style looks so stiff though. I almost think it's intentional. It's like his whole stance is more there to mock then to seem imposing, which fits the charactar well.
The fatality kicks all kinds of ass and easily ranks up there among the greatest fatalities in mk history.

Somehow I'm not seeing the brutality of the Joker's finisher. So he uses the bang trick, pretty run of the mill for him, and then pulls a second gun and caps the opponent. Big deal. I don't really care for it. I don't find it creative at all and as I expected, he looks stiff. Everyone else has already rightfully harped on the glowing eyes, so I won't take that opportunity, but they need to go. Also, wtfpwned mode also appears to be what I expected, which is pretty much broken. Par for the course here.
The Joker actually looks cool since he shouldn't even be in a fighting game. I really like the fatality too. Can't wait to kill Liu Kang and Jax.
I hope but kinda doubt that the movements of the character will get much more fluid and smooth though. The game models and gameplay still remind me a lot of mkda and mkd. I liked those games but I thought some of the characters were a little stiff.
I will be pissed if Doomsday doesn't make it into this game though.

I agree with you all the way m0s3pH. I can't wait to crush all the Joker fans. That will be my greatest trophy everytime. I would love to crush him with Martian Manhunter 
The fatality is crazy cool! The way Kitana falls down, good job. Kitana looks alright, but that ribbon looks kinda silly. I wonder if they will make all the fatalities this great or we will end up with some half end stuff because of the well known time issue. EDIT: LOL @ the Shonuff resemblence...loved that movie when I was young.

I pretty much agree with everyone here. the glowing eyes is kinda stupid, rage mode is kinda stupid, his moves look ok, and that fatality is easily the coolest thing I've seen in this game.
I really didn't think that shooting someone in the head.. AND having blood come out could be in a T rated game

You know what just hit me? This fatality is something that should have been given to Stryker during the "we're not a serious fighting game" days, such as MKT.

Animations are terrible. The fatality is lame. I should be surprised when Joker pulls out the second gun but there is absolutely no element of surprise there. That's not only because of the fact that they already went and told everyone, it's because it really just isn't choreographed well. You should be lead to believe that the fatality is over and then all of a sudden, bang! Also, the way he jumps around and laughs is kinda stupid. I was kinda hoping they would make him a more serious, dark humor character, but MK seems unable to balance its humor with its seriousness since Tobias left.
Oh, and the glowing eyes are ultra-lame. If some "unknown force" is causing the Kombatants to fight and perform finishers on one another, then why the fuck can't it make Batman or Superman kill somebody?

I didn't mind the Fatality, but it would've probably been cooler if he didn't pull a 2nd gun, but instead shot the bang flag.

That's what I think, too! Her loose hair back in the ol' days looked great, it sucks they didn't stick with it in the later games. Back then she looked sexy, mysterious, the perfect parallel sex symbol to Sonya. I loved her!
Then it was all downhill for the girl after that IMO. Her personality became absolutely hateful with her dumb-ass goody-goody routine and the "sick of all the fighting" crap. Then her looks began to diminish, too (though MKDA's was better than UMK3), and now...
... I'm sorry, but with those huge-ass ribbons, Kitana looks like she took two of her big-ass floppy deflated dildos and tied it to her infinite ponytail in an attempt to look more intimidating and draw the attention away from the weird dreamy eyes that creep me out.

People shouldn't fret about the games rating. The world is in a state of moral decay, the rating system will soon follow, and pretty soon the T rating will allow games with violent murder, torture, and hardcore porn.
