I agree dude, I'm pumped for this game. I was always excited and curious about the idea from the beginning, but now after seeing gameplay, more vids, characters etc I'm really hyped for it.

I really don't know why people are still finding reasons to bitch out the new game. Sure it's not Tekken or SC, but IMO it's better. We are all on this site because we love Mortal Kombat. So why do half of us sit here and do nothing but wine and moan about how it's not a super complex fighter with super realism. It's Fucking Mortal Kombat, it's never had a large amount of realism, so why would you ask for it now. Midway is making up for some of their gameplay problems in the past three titles with this next gen game. Ok, In my first post on this thread I said that this video looked better. I'm not bitching at everything. I honestly consider myself a fan of MK since 1992. Long time indeed. Understand my point. I want a great MK game. A game the MK team hasn't being able to deliver since MK2 imo.
Not here to pick up a fight. It is just hard for me to "accept" this game. Not digging the concept. I don't mind the cross over games but DC was one I wouldn't expect. Probably Killer Instinc would have being better.
Also I'm not complaining about the graphics, it is the design of the characters. I also wish the characters moved more fluidly.
I do like the fact that they are simplifying the gameplay mechanics.
I'm still willing to give this one a try. Playing it will make me decide if I'll purchase it or not.

Just so you know, I wasn't necessarily referring to "you per-se" just a general statement. I just want to clear that up ; )I've noticed some people on here get a little defensive or assume I'm referring to them directly but in that case I usually quote. When I make "general statements" it's for those people in general, not really a particular user. That's fine man, but we all have our opinions many of which different from each other. Obviously MK2 was great, but IMO and many others generally UMK3, MK:DA, MK:SM and MKM were fun, great games. Granted, some even liked MKD more then those....(usually the newer generation of MK fans) or some MKA even.
That's fine, not everyone has to like it. The only message I'm trying to get thru to some general fans, casual or hardcore alike that might have hated this idea from the start is "give the game a chance" wait for it, play it then if you still don't like it, I suppose it's not for you, but there's just a lot of people(especially early on, on here or out there) in general which I'm sure you've seen that assumed a lot before the game even got off it's feet with newer E3 stuff, gameplay vids, more about the story etc. Now, I've noticed some more people are coming around to actually liking the idea now that we've seen more info about the game
I hear ya though, I'm arguably the most obsessed MK fan on here and perhaps you'll ever meet lol. I play, love all the MK's but even I must admit that I have my "preferences of certain MK games" over some others.
