Has this game ruined your life before it has even came out?

I dont think there has ever been a game that I've been more excited about, and it has almost ruined my life. My girlfriend has told me that the next time I mention anything relating to MK she will completly refuse me sex until my birthday and thats in February. I've already started having dreams about it. Playing it, being in it, or just reading them damn guide book whenever the hell it comes out. I've even been unknowingly forcing my opponent to the end of the ring hoping for some invisible death trap while playing Deadly Alliance. I even almost forgot about GTA: San Adreas. Am I alone or has anyone else been KONSUMED!

I feel your pain. I spend too much time on this board reading old crap and I also watch old gameplay videos. The release date couldn't come sooner...
In order to keep on track I have to set everything I need to do on a schedule and I basically have from now until the release date written out.
All I can hope is that the game doesnt disappoint and there is enough depth and hidden stuff to discover for awhile, because I felt burnt by MK:DA... Deception does look 5x better though.

Yeah it has. I remember one time after coming home late, Mortal Kombat: Deception was sitting there in the dark. Asked me where I'd been, then beat me within an inch of my life. The emotional trauma hasn't even begun to heal and I haven't been the same since. So damn you Mortal Kombat: Deception, damn you for ruining my life!

I'm always talking with my mates about mk, and they're like "ok...sure...whatever...cool...STFU!"
and yes I've dreamed about deception too. 3 or 4 times
1 abt the intro
2 abt me playing it
3 abt me seeing the extras
4 cant remember
I'm always thinking about deception, really, everyday, I'm always thinking "man...november 19...hurry up"

Ok, where do i begin? every single damn day, i come home, on my computer and come here looking for any morsel of news to satisfy my growing lust for this game!! I'm desparate for this game! unfortunately i dun haf a girlfren so i cant vent my furstrations through sex!! damn it! It was sooo cool to see subby's fatality! DK was awesome.. Then Noob, Smoke and Kabal!! Wat else? this game is Konsuming me, evry minute of every damn day!! Pls, pls come out soon! My bdae's on 6 Oct and the game is releases here on the 5th.. Haiz...

yes, the anxiety of finding out who the super-unlockables will be is making me lose sleep constantly. Sombdy better please get some info on who the super-unlockables be. Otherwise, i'll be like Liu Kang.
I'm not going crazy over it, but I do think about it all the time.
And I spend a lot of time here too.
I had a dream about MKD like a month ago, and it was so awesome. Only thing is that it was nothing like MKD.

MK and other video games don't really play much of a role in my life. They're there for entertainment, but I just don't get into them as much as other people do. Sure I would love to play the game, but it doesn't really effect me or my lifestyle much.

Well it didn't ruin my life but I kept on thinking about MK for many weeks/months/years, trying to create new things and making some good fatality ideas and others. I'm glad with the mk5.org website that gave me the opportunity to express myself.
I once posted a Kitana's successful fatality idea for the MK:D that I later made it a movie with Flash software which took me a week and spent 24/24h for the last 2 days to accomplish it that led to a sever inflation in my left hand.
I love MK and I always will.
Was that the one with where Kitana throws the fan in the opponent's mouth, then it pops open and splits their head?
That was an awesome idea.
Is that the one you are talking about?

Hahah, i'm with you man. All I do is talk about this game. My girlfriend thinks i'm going to break up with her when it comes out because it's all I ever talk about. Everyone at my job yells at me "Shut up!", "Stop talking about Mortal Kombat", etc.
But who cares, i've never been so excited about a game. I pre-ordered it (of course) and took 2 days off work when it comes out!

No, and it wont after it comes out. I pretty much check these boards out daily for news and info but only when im really bored. Same thing with video games and shit, i only do it when there is nothing else to do. I'd rather party and shit than sit at home and look at these boards.
