Haviks ending and Liu Kangs ending... [big-assed spoilers]

In Liu Kang's ending it shows him being blasted with lighting by somebody ,and Kang's "true self "is resurrected. For this entire time I assumed it was Raiden. However, when I got my video capturing program to work again, and I started to collect images for my website, I noticed the person's costume design. It doesn't look like Raiden at all.
In Havik's ending, he takes Onaga's heart to resurrected Shao Kahn to restore the Chaos right? Fans loved Shao Kahn, so I think this is a big possibility the MK Team will bring back another favorite and a boss/subboss for MK7. Since Havik can resurrected Kahn to restore Chaos... he would need Kahn's greatest enemy: Liu Kang.
Soooo....... any thoughts?

Sub-Zero's costume has a damn better chance than Shujinko!! Shujinko has a longer strap from his outfit than Havik... which I don't see in that picture. Look at the shin pads too... I boxed those for a reason.

Play MK :D and check out the concept art. Then look at Liu Kang's story board. It is clearly Raiden...

I have one idea that could be possible. You can clearly see a hat that looks similar to Raiden's. Who has a hat similar to Raiden and has a pretty small part in MK:D? ASHRAH!!

Hold on there, storyboards can change, and since when does Raiden have green electricity?
And why would he choose to revive Liu now and not right after Liu died. And always remember, not all endings are canon...

well since havik is hell bent on having chaos ie constant good vs evil if he resureccted kahn (evils greatest warrior) im pretty sure he would resurect liu (goods greatest warrior)
makes sense in my book

I'm surprised no one brought up this debate sooner.
It's Havik. You can see the ponytail he has on his default outfit.
Why would Havik resurrect Liu Kang?
To continue the Chaos of course. If Shao Kahn is alive, his mortal enemy must live too. There can be no balance...they have to fight, so that there will be chaos. With Liu Kang, Shao Kahn and Onaga all alive, the chaos will reign. Havik wants to spread Chaos...resurrecting mortal enemies is a good way to do it.
Well, IF it were Havik, then Raiden Liu AND Onaga couldn't exist at the same time, cause Havik would have to have Onaga's heart to revive them.
And why on earth would you need Liu to have Chaos? IMO, Khan is enough. The MK fighters have grown stronger, and if Liu Kang wouldn't exist , then it still wouldn't stop Khan from tyring to take over Earthrealm...
Besides, Onaga is a greater threat to the realms than Khan, so even (Dark) Raiden could defeat Khan (like, look at the intro...).

Waoh! Well done! thats some really great theories. They mightn't be true but there is a high posibility. It does look like Havik in the background. And maybe your right in thinking Liu Kang is needed for Kahn s chaos. These are really good theories and I think all we can do is wait for MK7 to confirm them. Well done!grin

It looks more like Raiden, I could see the brim of Raiden's hat. I think Raiden revived Liu Kang because he needs a warrior with his skills in fighting.

I don't see any damn hat from Raiden in that picture. I see LIGHTING that happened to be in the shape to form a hat to fool people.

i do see that is was Rayden because He is the god of thunder and Lightning.
Lightning is another form of electriy(msp).
I will not be surpised that Onaga returns to his old body and we see the return of Reptile in his full power

it has to be Rayden that is shooting Liu Kang with lightning. he is the God of thunder and lightning after all. Plus Rayden is a God! He has the power to grant life and death. I Liu's Ending, Rayden recogninses that it was not Liu's fault his body killed all those people, and recognised he has done good for Earthrealm in saving them from the Dragon King, so decides to grant him life again as a sort of payment. Remember, Rayden is now more Badass. those who deserve life will have it, and those who dont will be obliterated.

Yes, but Onaga wants to combine all the Kamidogu. And if he does, he'll awaken the One Being, and wipe out all existence. And if all of existence is gone, than there wont be any chaos. There will only be "nothingness"...
Havik knows this, so thats why he wants the DK to be defeated...

Having Onaga more of a threat and just as strong as he was when he was in Reptile.
Another thing I would do is Make Onaga more of an agile badass as well as a powerful badass
