Sexuality, heterosexual or homosexual, has never been a big aspect of MK. I mean, the best romance involved included Liu Kang and Kitana, and, well, that fell flat. Romance seems to be downplayed quite a bit, which I think is for the best. Sexuality, romance, and gender preferences really don't have a place in a game where your main focus is to kill your opponent.
If you want to make a gay fighter, I'm sure you can do that in the customization mode.

I don't really like the idea of this. I think it would make a lot of people specially the younger ones, to hate this chracter. They will just think of him as a joke and dissmiss them, i know this is extreme but some people may even start to dislike MK for having gays in it, i mean there is a lot of homaphobes out their. I do not think there is any need to make gay chracters.
There are other ways to make a chracters storyline and profile more intresting not by changing their sexuality. As somebody said there is a lot of people that it may offend. If needs be to someone gay, i would rather it be a new chracter then there would not be the sudden "hate" thing. It would be a bad idea with established chracters i belive.
I can just imagine some people chating saying, "So you seen the new MK game, its great!"
