A lot of the endings in that game are pretty out there anyway (not to mention created by UDON and not Capcom), so I wouldn't take it as conclusive proof. According to his bio he dislikes "pretty girls" or "young girls", I forgot which.

Apparentlly, there are a few gay fighters in a fighting world. As i said, Eagle in Street Fighter was confirmed gay. Zangrief was also confirmed gay since he has a "cursh" on Vega. Poison is a little iffy since she is apparentlly a dude. In Guilty Gear, Venom was confirmed gay.
There used to be a website that has every single information about every characters in the fighting world. However, that website has been shutdown. But, you can always go to wikipedia and type in there name and read their bios.

I think they need a fighter where u can speculate. Instead of it just saying in the game he's gay, make him one where you have to ask yourself if he is gay. Like in SF. I'll give a shiny nickel to whoever can tell me if Vega is gay or not without a doubt. It can't be down.

From all of the MK people theese are the ones who would certainly fit some latent homosexuality: Shao Kahn, Reiko, ... but why name them? A gay or lesbian warrior in MK would add merit and credibility to the fighters and make them more than the sterile ragdolls they are.

Why? I think it's an interesting discussion.
I agree that some characters are rather asexual (like monks or non-humans), but some definitely have a sexual angle to their character which might be exploited, like Johnny Cage, Jax or indeed Nitara. However if the story of MK continues the way it went down in MKD, I doubt we'll ever see a character with true depth or an interesting plotline involving romance or sexuality. Liu Kang and Kitana was brought on by the movie, and very uninspired.
It's all kind of weird, considering how both males and females are portrayed as sexual ideals (muscular men, women with big breasts, etc), but it's never ever mentioned in the storyline. Every relationship is asexual in the MK world, and I think that's a bit improbable. I have an idea about what I think the orientation of some of the MK characters might be if they existed in this world, but I'll keep that for myself.

I don't have any problem with homosexualls, I don't hate them, i don't treat them any different(don't get the wrong idea) but i just don't think there should be ones in a game, especially not Mortal Kombat, since that would just soften up the whole game.

No sex in Mk what so ever. I'm fed up of sex in media. I'm a virgin(sort of) and proud. Yes, it' natural and it's part of the world, but it's stupid to have it in a fighting game. The romance in MKSM was done very badly.

Speaking as somebody of that persuation. A gay charatcer would be a lame attempt at making a character "more edgy" or "intresting" and in my opinion that isnt necessary at all, not to mention that sexual preference has nothing to do with the storyline.
