HOLY SHIT! excuse me for my language...

I've been completely blown away by it. The replay value is HUUUUUUUUUUGE! Some of the fatalities I did were EVEN BETTER than the ones you guys have seen on FATALITY FRIDAY's!

First and foremost, the graphics are simply outstanding. I can't believe an MK game has finally looked this good. The backgrounds are gorgeous, the character models are so nice just like the screenshots, the animation is perfect I have not noticed any slowdown yet.

Story: well I'm not gonna spoil any more of what you guys have seen, but let me tell ya, story mode is un****ing believably awsome! the voice acting, the dialogue, the characters feel so life like. I swear it's just like watching a movie everytime between fights!

Gameplay: I've not discovered any infinites yet, not that I really tried for that. I've had about 7hrs of play and guys, this gameplay is what we've all been waiting for. Fuck the fatality fridays, don't judge those videos! (I'll get to fatalities in a sec) The gameplay alone is so worth the purchase I swear.
There are many many special moves for each character as I'm sure you all know by now. I tried some super and pro moves, I was able to perform Sonya's projectile twice and her bike kick twice. Next, the combos are definitely not dial a combo. There are 2 to 5 max combination hits. The rest is up to you to fool around with what you can juggle with wether it's an uppercut or a projectile or whatever you want. This is the best gameplay wise in MK I've ever played. I simply could not put it down!

Dark Khan: I've fought him and beat his ass, but guess what? He's a monster! He's bigger than Blaze in Armageddon! He's fucking tough! I couldn't beat him for about 4 matches on Med. Cut me some slack, I just started playing today

I've also played against Shao Khan, he looks mad nice. I was able to perform a fatality on him! so this might mean he's also able to make a fatality on you, so don't lose hope just yet people.

Scorpion 2nd Fatality: I was crappin myself the whole time. Really awesome fatality! He goes down to the ground in a form of lava and the lava disappears then reappears under the opponent, the lava sinks them in and then spits out their skeleton. SWEET!!! 10/10


Kano 1st fatality Knife toss: First off I am a true Kano fan and approve of this fatality. He walks away from his opponent, then reaches for a knife from each boot then turns around and throws them one right after another on their chest for an instant heart attack. The animation looks cool 9/10

Kano 2nd fatality: IT REALLY SUCKS DON'T EVEN BOTHER DOING IT! it's some wack ass air drop move that looks like something out of a wrestling game. 1/10


Shang 2nd fatality: OK I know most of us hated the first one but the second one is way better! He morphs into the opponent, grabs them ala MKII shang soul fatality, steals his soul throws them to the ground and YES THEY BECOME CRIPPLED! I tried more than once to make sure. At the end he morphs back to himself. 10/10


Joker gunshot fatality: BOOO fuck you ESRB! the censored gunshot sucks ass I'm gonna import a PAL copy. I want this fatality in full. 5/10 just for the censor, the real one I'd give it a 10/10.

Joker card fatality: same as we've seen it. Sweet.


Liu Kang head stomp: I don't remember it in full detail but I sure as hell prefer it over that lame arcade drop. It's a series of air kicks to the head I think... anyway it's not bad 7/10

I also saw Kitanas fatality when I lost to her. She tosses both fans into your chest. nice but nothing special 7/10




In full, from what I've played today, and what I'll always play for years to come, I give this game a review score of 9.5/10.
