as i was reading all these postes alot of people are saying that Kitana is way more popular than Mileena, i would have to disagree. In every hero movie there is of course that girl that the hero falls for...otherwise known as Kitana. but in many hero movies this girl changes with every movie. That is a big reason Kitana is so popular because in the movie she was the main characters love intrest. but what if this was oh Nitara or Tanya they would be popular, so i dont think Kitana is popular for her story or awesome fighting (fans are kinda cool) Mileena on the other hand is like the evil girl in this game. and although her and Kitana's stories kinda tie together i believe Mileena has the better story and is much more original with her messed up face and everything. Actually, no wrong.
Very few Kitana fans like her because she's Liu Kang's love interest. Personally, as a Kitana fan, I hate they did that. The Liu/Kitana relationship cheapens her more than it helps.
But more importantly...in the games...being Liu Kang's love interest is not, nor has it ever been, Kitana's defining role in the story. Kitana was never created to be Liu Kang's girlfriend. They just threw that into the movie for no reason and the creators decided to make it canon in MK4 just for the hell of it. Aside from Shaolin Monks, Kitana has never been defined by her relationship with Liu Kang. It's just some stupid side thing that adds almost nothing to her character.

I don't get why we only get 20 characters for a crossover game; Deception didn't crossover with anything and had TWICE as many characters. Sadly, this means many worthy characters from both sides won't make the cut.

11) A Teen Titan, most likely Cyborg, Starfire, Raven, Nightwing, or Robin. Though the last too would make the DC roster too Bat-heavy.

A well balanced and representative roster. I'd prefer Hal Jordan as Green Lantern, but given WB/DC's recent trend as using John Stewart asGL in media outside of comics, that's most likely who we'll get. I hope we get a Titan that isn't a Bat-prodigy, because that would be more representative of the whole DCU, and not just Gotham.

i just have a problem with the design itself,.. why do they always design the characters so badly,.. why does sonya have to look like over powered lesbian?.... just using a thong doesnt make a woman look femenin... perhaps reducing the shoulders and adding more hips would work...

batman?!... whats this all about?... havent they seen other better versions of batman? i am a batman freak,.. and i dont think i will be able to play with such a clown... there no uglier batman than this ones already rendered,... well perhaps the adam west almost parody,... ok it would be nice if it would be a funny game,.. but MK goes of being a dark bloody game doesnt it?. then batman have to be a gothic dark knight, not a 60s funny hero...

Obviously scorpian, sub-zero, shang tsung, liu kang [unfortanitly], sonya, jax, and kitana so thats 7, i think Reptile should be in it, raiden, possibly kano, and ermac. they have all been there since the beggining evan reptile. he has been in all the games exept for MK 3.

i hope that the last three slots on the mk side are Mileena, raiden, reptile/kahn.....probably have kahn, but put reptile as unlockable or sumthin

I think there's way too many good guys on both sides so far. The remaining characters should all be bad guys.
I'm not all big on DC, but on the MK side, I'd like to see Quan Chi, Shao Kahn and Goro.

you have to take into consideration that Mileena might not come because we already have kitana and sonya, so its only 10 characters
we don't need 3 characters(girls) in mk list, I think it's enough for girls now.
2 from mk characters and 2 from DC characters.
if they put 3 characters(girls) from MK then they have to put 3 characters(girls) for Dc and that is not happenning. Besides there are more iconic characters such as kano,rayden, kunglao and khan

They dont have to have three girls on each side. the first mk game they only had one girl who had no other girl to fight against and that game did just fine. besides both the girls they have are heros and one of the girls on dc happens to be a villian. so Sonya could easly have a male counter part while Mileena could be cat women and kitana could have wonderwomen. mk has more iconic women then dc does. I agree that there are still male characters that need to be in but i also think ol' Ed could fit in Mileena :)

Like I said, I'm hoping for the remaining slots to be all bad guys. Quan Chi, Shao Kahn and one other. Mileena, Reptile or Goro would be awesome.

I think they'll even it out with the same number of males to females in each roster.

Two women have already been annouced for MK - Sonya and Kitana so for DC it is likely to be another woman - there is only Catwoman there so far so Wonder Woman or Supergirl are more likely to show.

As for MK it's likely to be Raiden or Johnny Cage (I hate Johnny Cage - would be a waste with him there) with the way the cast his turning out to be from the first two games. I would like to see Kung Lao or Sindel there too though I doubt another female will be put in now.

I'm not happy about Jax though - someone way better could have taken his place - Kano, Mileena, Baraka, Kabal or even Jade (my favourite).

Is there any chance at all that a newer character may be put in such as Kenshi or Havik?

why does everyone act like ermac is so much better than kenshi? i think kenshi is gonna make it in the game.

Kenshi is too new to be in this game. Ermac has been is the games longer, although personaly i dont see either one making it. If one did it would probably be Ermac.

So, I was thinking, although I'm sure it's been brought up before. But the story synopsis on the official website says "When a cataclysmic event merges two conquerors"... So does that mean that the final boss will be a being who's actually two characters fused into one entity? One from MK and one from DC?

I think I will scream if Mileena doesn't make it. She has become quite of an MK icon thanks to most recent games, and she would bring SO much to the table if she appeared.

2 females isn't enough also. 10-11 characters and only 2 females? That's bullshit. I think 4 would be fair, but AT LEAST it should be 3.

Anyway, if any other ninja makes it I think it'll be Reptile and not the popular Ermac or Noob.

Raiden will make it for sure, that I know without a doubt.

Shao Kahn should also make it. He's iconic and would also bring a lot to the table.

I just mostly care to see Mileena make it. Reptile and Kahn would be nice, but I'd prefer Mileena or a bunch of other females before them.

It definitely needs Cyrax or Sektor. Goro is a necessity as well.
