ideas for gameplay mechanics

sorry for the bump.. but I got another idea, and I thought it would be better to bump this thread instead of making a new one.
what about a god of war like deathtrap. (you know.. with those quicktime sequences that we all love so much)
like, here are a few examples:
1. someone gets hit into a burning building. they have to tap buttons to get up, and then press the right button to jump through a window or something. if they don't do it fast enough, or if they press the wrong button, the building collapses on them or something
2. in goro's lair if you hit someone into a gate, you throw the opponent to the ground, pull them over, and attempt to pull the sharp spikes of the gate down into their face. if you win, you shove the spikes into the opponent's face viciously, casing them to struggle for a few seconds and then die. if they win, they push the gate up, and kick you in the face, taking away a chunk of life. if nobody wins after a little while, you just roll away and continue fighting.
3. also in goro's lair, if you hit the opponent through a certain wall (maybe like as a secret or something) they can fight goro.. or an oni warlord or something. then they'd have to press the right buttons at the right time to defeat it. if they miss even one button, they die.. or take a lot of damage or something

id really like to see more realistic things. like in mk armageddon deception and all that if you fell 20 stories on your neck you wouldnt even die or be hurt that bad. like say in this game, while in free fall kombat, you have to control the character and move differently, like say you are doing that, and then you land on your leg wrong and sprain it then like youd be limping, disabled, or maybe even when you hit the other person with the part you fell on it wouldnt take out as much life. or like say you land on your head, well then, your basically dead. id like to see something more like that. like how it really is when you fall and land on a certain part of your body. and i think this game is the best oppurtunity for that since they are doing freefall kombat and you actually get to decide how you move in the air opposed to in armegeddon or deception where you fall the same way everytime.

that'd be cool.. like if you get knocked off a ledge you have to somehow control it so that you roll when you hit the ground, and take a lot less damage... or something.

Also.. since I love ragdoll so much.. i think it'd be cool if they implemented it into a future mk game. Ragdoll has rarely been used in fighting games before.
perhaps like when you die you go ragdoll, or maybe there can be a move everyone has where they directionally throw someone in any direction and they just go ragdoll until they stop moving

THREE more things (i just keep getting ideas)
arena fatalities.. like the old days where you had to press a button combination to pull it off, and it's arena specific rather than character specific. It can be hella hard to pull off, but like.. it just goes to a total cinematic if you do it.
EX:
dead pool: you do the deadpool button combination, and it cuts to a cinematic. you punch the opponent hard, sending them to the ground easily. You grab them by the neck and drag them over to the pool of acid. you dunk their head into the acid and they struggle. soon they stop trying and die. you pull them up, and all you see is a skull with burnt flesh on it. you lift the person up and throw them into the pool
also, as well as character specific fatalities, character specific deaths.
EX 1: superman gets beat up by someone. that person imputs a special button combination for superman. they pull kryptonite out of nowhere, walk over to superman, and shove it down his throat. he falls in intense pain, and slowly dies.
(i know they'd never have anything that vicious in this game.. but it's just an example)
EX 2: scorpion gets beat up. finish him pops up. the other person imputs a special button combination for scorpion. the screen gets dark. you walk up, grab scorpion's spear, and stab him several times with it.
and finally, special move reversals. they work like any other reversals.. but for special moves.
EX 1: scorpion throws his spear. you press reverse just at the right moment. you catch the spear, pull scorpion to the ground next to you, and kick him in the gut
EX 2: sonya tries to leg grab you. you reverse it just in time. you grab her legs, spin her around, and toss her
And maybe some special moves (the ones that can't really be reversed, like projectiles) you can just dodge, or reflect, or something

endorphin, euphoria.. it's all ragdoll.
But i agree. euphoria would be kick ass.

you never know.. it could be awesome. and no one would know if it is or not unless someone does it. I'm not really thinking it should be overly ragdoll.. but I think a touch of euphoria when the opponent is defeated would be pretty cool.
and i have.. yet another idea.
what about ground fatalities? like.. if you finish off the opponent with a really strong hit.. like an uppercut or something, they fall down, and instead of getting up to get killed they stay on the ground and it says finish him
i don't like that idea, because it would be hard to do standing fatalities because most of the time when you beat an opponent they fall down. So i'm just putting the idea out there

you know what'd be cool (but won't happen, sadly) is an arkham asylum stage. and depending on which villain's cell you knock the opponent into, the villains all have different fatalities. and also there are normal people's cells you can hit the opponenet into, and the guy just punches the opponent and runs.
also it can have that mkd prison mechanic where if someone is too close to a cage they get grabbed

Euphoria could help make things look better or more realistic, like having the players stumble back during combos instead of sliding.
Correct reactions for getting hit from different angles...
I think it'll be used eventually by some one for a fighting game. I know GTA4 already has it.
The Euphoria engine lets you blend specified constraints based rag doll physics with pre-made animations. It's not totally loose like the old dummy.

Combo dodge: To do this you need to be a hardcore Mk player well what it is if somebody is doing a combo you can dodge hits but the flurry of attacks won't stop ie when Liu Kang punches at Sub-zero Sub-zero will dodge but Liu Kang will carry on attacking the key is you need to know what he's hitting with if he does a punch you need to press RT punch button and they will dodge same with kicks.
Counter Attack: There is a twist to this well what happens is if my opponent does a POWER punch and i dodge it with combo dodge because it is a POWER punch after the hit the opponent will will be left open for attack and theres no way to stop them IE Liu Kang goes to power punch but Sub-zero ducks and Liu Kang's stomach is open so Sub-zero will start a combo from there he can either punch or knee the stomach if he punches it will lift up the oppoenet if ge knees it will keep them down.
Special Move fuse - Special move fuse is where 2 spec moves fuse together IE if Liu Kang shoots a fire projectile at Raiden and Raiden presses a few buttons before it gets to him he will fuse it with Electric and send it back to the opponent doing twice as much damage.
Freefall Kombat collision - While your falling down in Freefall Kombat you will collide with an object in Mid air like in the Graveyard when in Freefall Kombat there are big rocks in the air and while fighting you can punch or kick eachother into the big rocks.

yeah. it'd be cool if, in freefall kombat, if you're in control, you can actually kind of steer yourself around.

left analogue stick: grab opponent, and steer them
right analogue stick: nothing
face buttons: punches and kicks
L1/R1: grabs
L2: throws opponent down, making them go ragdoll as they hit the ground (if you throw them against rocks, or hard surfaces it does more damage)
R2: your special
Defender controls:
left analogue: steer (much less speed, but if the opponent is pulling in a direction you don't want you can slow down the movement by trying to move in the other direction)
right analogue: nothing
face buttons: reverse hits
L1/R1: reverse grabs
L2/R2: punch (if the other person takes too long to hit)

Most likely at some point, yeah someone will use it(fighting game I mean) with stumbling etc)
I think you'll start seeing more "damage" now in other fighters now that MK has done it.
For some ideas hmm.
Perhaps have different kinds of "blocking" not necessarily based off "special powers" like someone else mentioned but more like MK:DA-MKA with one hand, then two, then one again etc but have more "karate kid" feel to it with swiping away attempted punches. Kind of like what they're doing when you kounter someone via KK but more "karate kid" like or bruce lee in the future.
