I don’t think Sonya is the type of mediocre character that will rest on her ass while the others save the world. Being a General doesn't mean she should command and not help. It doesn't fit her style.

About the Lt/Major thing, Sonya has always had the look to become the head of the team. I mean, she was introduced as a strong army woman, which you don’t see a lot.

I believe due to her many accomplishments, she got the promotion. She has by far done much more then Jax anyway.

i just never really liked jax, his fatalities were never that great, i didnt like his lion animality, the only moves i liked were his "GOTCHA" grab and his machine gun, which he got from Curtis Stryker

I would like Sonya to come back because she is a classic fighter. She could be determined to bring down the Red Dragon after the death of her partner Jax at the hands of Mavado. Kano could be involved in her storyline as an ally who gives her information on how to bring down the Red Dragon.

I would like Cyrax to return as a member of the Special Forces. This has been a positive move by the creators to give Cyrax some character. Cyrax is a cyborg wanting to turn human and he owes a huge debt to Sonya for making that possible. Cyrax though should be involved in a war with Sektor and the Lin Kuei, but the cyborg should represent the Special Forces.

As for Kenshi, I would think it would be a great move if he left the Special Forces and joined with Ermac. Together, those two could be very deadly and could pose a great threat to the Dragon King.

It was Jax who saved her from outworld, and Jax who started the OIA. the only reason Sonya ever got involve was because she was chasing someone who pissed her off or by following Jax's orders. Jax put himself second in all his endevours, IMO being the better man out of everyone.

That is true, Jax did set alot of things down for the Special Forces. He is the founding father of that orginazation. I do think however it would be a wise move if he was either injured or killed in this next game to add a twist to the story. Without Jax's might the Special Forces will be in some serious trouble. It could leave Sonya bent on rage and unleash a fury like nothing seen before by any female in Mortal Kombat.

Sonya is a must, and i'd like to see Cyrax as well. Kenshi just never fitted in (It would be cool if he joine Ermac) and I've always hated Jax.
Also, I would love to see Stryker making a return, as the newest member.

i nevered really cared for jax although the reason i really liked him was because he was sonya's best friend and compaion but besides thatn he's not really all that great im not saying he should leave the game but if it came up to him or sonya sorry jax but cha gotta go

Yes, I agree. If only 2 special forces characters were to return, Sonya and Kenshi should be the 2. Sonya's storyline can evolve and I like her rivalry with Frost. As for Kenshi, there is a lot to him that we know and a lot to him that we don't know and I think he is a great addition to the series.

Sonya's should keep her styles while Kenshi should keep his Sun style Tai Chi as long as they have the Xing Yi Quan, Ba Gua Zhang, Chi Kung, Shaolin Fist, and Chin Na elements in it. As for his other style, he could have a style of Okinawan Karate like Shorei-Ryu or Shorin-Ryu or maybe Shotokan which is a combination of the two.

In terms of storyline, Sonya's should probably involve Frost, the Dragon King and his forces, and the Red Dragon.

As for Kenshi, his could involve Shang Tsung, Mavado and the Red Dragon, Ermac and perhaps other stuff that might reveal more about himself.

Sonya is a must, she is the first SF agent in the games, and the original chick on the world of Mk. We need her, the game wouldn’t be the same without the original blond.

I actually feel the same about Jax.

Sonya and Kenshi and i dont really want any of the others to return, even if i could pick more. No one else was really cool besides those 2

From the SF team, I think Cyrax and Jax are the ones we need less, even though I want Jax back.

Cyrax (if he is back) should unite forces with Sub-Zero and Smoke to defeat Sektor. Something tells me Smoke will in fact return...

Unfortunately that is most likely true however being an African American myself I respect the fact that this game has included him and made him a character with a honorable job rather than a crook or someone involved with the music industry.

As far as my choice go I personally have no problem with all four of them. The simple truth is they all need improvement or change, with Ermac back Kenshi obviously needs some change, to his moves atleast. Both Sonya and Jax need better looks and stories and Cyrax could probably use an improvement on his story.

Jax is my second choice cause I like him, but something tells me he wont be in MKD. He is a cool character.

If they were 3, I would say Kenshi. But Cyrax was better when evil IMO.

Sonya is the BOMB!!! I'm not talkin about pre-MKDA Sonya though. Sonya was always cool but in MKDA she owned. I want her back and similar to her MKDA ways.
