I say Sonya and Cyrax, I liked Jax and everything in MK2, but he just didn't do it for me in DA.

It would actually be nice to see the whole team return, but each fighting in separeted ways:

Cyrax could join Sub-Zero and Smoke to defeat long time enemy Sektor.

Sonya could be controled by dark magic. Maybe turned evil and plans to kill her partners and spy on them.

Jax knows something is wrong with Sonya, he goes after Kano.

Kenshi is after Mavado and maybe something conects them both.

I like these ideas. Especially the one where Sonya is controlled by dark magic. Maybe the Dragon King has somehow managed to manipulate or take control of her and is using her to spy on his adversaries. In this way, he can keep one step ahead of them and acheive victory.

Also, he could use her to try and handicap the Earth warriors by screwing up their plans or maybe injuring them in fake sparring matches and stuff. Someone like Nightwolf, Raiden or Kenshi may sense something is wrong when this happens, especially if she acts like she doesn't care.

What would be interesting is seeing Sonya trying to break fee of his control by doing things she wouldn't normally do to try and make the Earth warriors and Raiden realise she isn't herself.

Once he is done with her, maybe he'll kill her or leave her to die but she is found by Jax and her body is badly battered.

As for Jax and Kenshi, since they're chasing Mavado and Kano, and Mavado is chasing Kano, all of them should meet up. Then there will be several Deceptions here as they all try to take each other out but request the help of others. This would make for an interesting turn of events.

And Cyrax could join Sub, but I doubt that would happen.

I think we'll see all four of them returning. Jax definently won't be killed off no matter how many people dislike him. He's one of the characters that has been through so many MK fights and survived. He has a soft spot in my heart, and I highly doubt he'll be killed. Sonya's gonna return of course and well as Cyrax and Kenshi. Jax ripping Hsu Hao's heart out should've been proff of his strength.

I also like this idea! And Tgrant your explanation on all the events is wicked cool! I really like the parts of Sonya trying to tell her friends (somehow) she isn’t she. I mentioned in a post that I have always liked the idea of making Sonya evil for one game. It would be interesting to see her fight her confused friends and even try to kill them. Spy on her team and give away info for the Dragon king.

It would be sad but kind a cool to see her crying at the end when the spell is broken. She is holding the dead body of Jax she killed him. And thanks to that, she finds more hate inside of her (if thats possible) to kill the Great King.

Thanks queve! Sonyas hatred towards the Dragon King would be the perfect end to to my idea! Her killing Jax would be good and the spell breaking once she has done so is great.

If I had to choose only two of the existing Special Forces Characters it would be Sonia and Kenshi. Sonia because she is a must, and Kenshi because there is still more a story about him.

However, I believe since Kenshi was never trueld a SF agent in his heart. (Remember he only joined to get to Shang Tsung) He should no longer be in SF. In that case, Sonia and Jax in Special Forces, Kenshi on his own, and Cyrax either reprogrammend again or with Sub-Zero.

SonYa and and Kenshi are by far the best SF agents. Jax was at his best in Mk3 IMO, but I dont really like him anymore.

Cyrax with a soul + human + SF------: stupid.

Definitely Sonya and probably Kenshi. Never really liked Jax at all, and Cyrax being part of the special forces i thought was a bit stupid.

I always thought that. They are the main characters of the team, but with Kenshi in, I think Jax can rest a little.

But hey, Kenshi would be better off the SF, so maybe Jax and Sonya can still return as the original team.

I always hated the idea of SF. BUT, with no doubt Sonya and Kenshi are the best, and have to return.

Sonya would be my first option, seond Kenshi, but now that we have Kenshi I would say my number 3 choice would be jax.

Jax from MK2, he was one of the strongest fighters in MK:DA, but he just had I lot of changes to him I didn't like. Most of was his look. And that piston punch was okay, but it looks funny when you're moving foward without moving your feet.
