I was worried that MKA wasn't going to be BC with the Xbox 360, now it really doesn't matter. Hopefully, Boon and his team will try to tackle the Wii controller, and prove that fighting games are very much a possibility for Nintendo's console.

MKA is another great reason to own a Wii.

Before everyone freaks out let's look at the facts. Nintendo themselves have stated the Wii isn't a Next Gen console, it's merely our new console. It's not a huge horsepower machine like the PS3 or xbox360. Honestly Power wise, it only ranks as more powerful than the Xbox but nowhere near the 360 or PS3.

So this isn't MKA coming to next gen, it's merely their decision to release it on the Wii instead of the Cube (which sadly has a small user base) which is essentially their capitalizing on the Wii's popularity right now. It's only difference from the PS2 or Xbox versions is likely some unique playing ability due to the Wii's controller or maybe not even that, it may only work with the Classic Wii controller (made for x-platform games).

MK8, which will utilize a new everything (engine, graphics, renders, shit even characters) and is already underway will be the Next Gen MK which hits PS3 and the X360 and more then likely won't be released for the Wii as i'm sure MK8 will take full advantage of the Huge power of both of those consoles, (and probably be in strict 720P which the Wii won't have also) which the Wii can't compete with, hence MK8's probable absence from that system.

Don't get me worng I'm not dissing the Wii, I love it and I can't wait to buy one. But it's cavete is its controller and it's ability to build a unique play experience. But don't get bent out of shape if your an Xbox360 or probable PS3 owner if you don't see MKA on those consoles, as you'll be able to play MK8 and Wii' owners likely wont.

To add to above possible reasoning. If i am correct the Wii is just an upgraded version of the gamecube so the dev team doesn't have to get anything extra, they just code the gamecube version but do it on a larger disk. Maybe they can't fit the game as is onto a gamecube disk so they are going with the Wii to be able to give a Nintendo system a version of it also that they don't have to limit.

I doubt that ^^^, the Wii is already an underrated system because it's not as powerful as the other two, that doesn't mean anything really.If they wanted to they could have made this for the GC but since the GC like the PS 2 and Xbox are pretty much dead after this year, why should they?

Exactly, and the wii version I bet will be better then the PS 2 version I predict honestly.Remember, RE 4 on GC>beat RE4 on PS 2 by far in quite a few ways.

RE4 was better on the GC? Ive never played RE4 but I read that the only superior thing to the PS2 one is the graphics since the PS2 one had all of the extras. Even though I have a PS2 Im most likely gonna buy the GC one but still

Yeah man, RE4 was better on the GC then PS 2.Graphically as well(although PS fanboys will argue) but from a spec point of view the GC was better and I also know even some PS 2 guys that have played both that even enjoy the GC version better.Swear to god man.

BTW, I can't wait to play this game on the wii say they give us the option to play it on either the SNES like controller or the GC one, man going to be great!!

Do you think they'll add more new characters to this game like they did with Deception on the Gamecube? I mean since it won't be released at the same time and the hype will have phased and it'll be after XMAS, they'll have to hype it up with something. Plus, I would think that even if the system is still slightly better than the XBOX in graphics processing it will more than likely be the best version of the game. Although, I could be wrong. It could be a whole situation like the Mortal Kombat 2 on the 32X fiasco. But I'd say that is unlikely. Our luck this will be the best version and we will have all already paid for the ps2/xbox ones so we'll have to wait or pay again. HMPH!
