o my god that was fucking nuts. stryker punched mellina like for being in 2 3d games before he was taken off the desk and dusted. liu was only pointing his rage at shang, was his soul rerturned but his body is still not normal it could be a effect of what reseructed his rotting corspe.. why would it be so farr rotted it was only a week or so after he got killed that the last game was taking place i don't think kenchi is dead baraka got lao's blade in his chest and he was alive after. and what was the deal when shujinko was thrown from the next to last floor of the pyrmid blaze was comming from boon ain't going ta kill any of the kombantants there would be a upheavel by the fans who raised him to his piek

Watching this video made me realize even more how badly I want this game.

I thought the movie was impressive, but then I was impressed by the opening movie of MKD first time I saw it!

Was great to see my boy Kenshi kick some serious ass, even if it was at Sheeva's expense. Don't mess with the blind swordsman or he'll own you hard

I really enjoyed that opening movie. The best parts were when Shao Kahn was swinging his hammer wildly and hitting everyone, and when Sheeva fought against so many people - they were beasts .

But as people have been saying, this could potentially ruin the storyline. But remember, it might not actually be what happens, but more of a movie to get us into the mood of this Armageddon.

Did any of you count and list who was on the good and who was on the bad side? Or is there a thread with it already?

Did anyone else begin to hum the tune of "The Ultimate Showdown" once the battle really started?

The intro actually makes sense in this way:

It's the battle plan;
You've got your big bad boss on top and everybody works is way up from
below:

First is Stryker vs Mileena, wich Stryker wins obviously :-p
So he goes up in the ladderto the next match.
Stryker vs Kabal turns out in another victory for Stryker.
But his third match against Kano he loses, so Kano continues the ladder with a match (very short one) against Bo Rai Cho and loses.

Next is master Bo Rai Cho vs Sheeva and Sheeva continues on the ladder and so on and on....

Sheeva even takes on Nightwolf and Ermac Tsung "Endurance"-Style (I know there's no endurance in Armageddon so some imagination is required )

Eventually someone reaches the big bad boss Blaze, but the intro stops there, cause the outcome could be whatever the player (yes, that's you!) decides.

The intro is just one of many, many, many possibilities you can come across while playing the game, with the winner of your choice.

And the deaths of some characters just portray the fatalities you can, but don't have to do.

It also (sort of; think imagination ;)) explains the unusual matches like Cage vs Sonya. In the game you somethimes have to fight your friends, and you can, if you choose to do so, perform a fatality on them.

You know, I just noticed something, by the time the Lui Kang shows up Kenshi's is suddenly no where to be seen. You can see Kenshi laying on the ground right up until the point where Shao Kahn jumps up to the ledge with Shang Tsung, but a few secounds later he's gone.

There wasn't any fighting going on in that ledge as far as we know, Kenshi could have either fell down the pyramid himself or it means that Kenshi scampered up to the top of the pyramid while Shang Tsung was busy with Shao Kahn and Lui Kang and is the first one to fight Blaze.

i think we would've noticed a red and black blind man running up a pyramid.

you think you would have noticed a half undead warrior who is likely posessed by his spirit in black and red kung fu pants and a red bandana roaring gobling like a thanksgiving terkey get past the rest. if u lissen you can hear kang breathingso he may be alive just not healed to mortal state he only attacked shanghis body and soul are together but he is still not back to his completely living mortal status
