I know alot of you are concerned about the story. And you have the right to. One of the best things about Mk that drives it is its storyline. But I personally really really enjoyed the intro movie. Now even though what was said in the movie was crap...complete totally crap....I still thought it was funny and great. Now when I do play the game to find out that the true stoy is garbage...then I will come here to bitch...But until then....I'm gonna go watch Kahn slam Jax and Sonya scream some more......

It looks great, and it has some funny moments, and even though it's not canon, the story of the game still sucks.

To me it seems that the basic story is that there are to many kombatants and the Elder Gods simply want to thin out their numbers.

Stryker lasted longer than most on the Pyramid. He took out Mileena, Kabal, and Two other people using Kabal as a weapon. Thats pretty good. Not to mention he was only shot in the chest because he was busy fighting other people.

Is it me or does Stryker die in the video. After Kano lazers him he falls down and at 2:22 he is lieing there and he is not moving. After that I cant find him. Where does he go?

Stryker is standing with the group of warriors that get shot of the Pyramid by Shang Tsung. Seeing how one of the characters in the group is Sub-Zero, i doubt anyone actually died from that attack.

Sorry, it wasn't pointless it had action, told the basics of the storyline and didn't destroy anything of the mk storyline, not to mention as Boon has said ohh a million times now ALL WILL BE REVEALED in MK:A.You obviously don't understand the concept of Blaze's power, he's manipulating everyone.Meaning they have NO choice, notice it was an organized fight between the good guys and bad guys before Blaze showed up corrupting everyone and baiting them to the pyramid, the announcer even said this.

Perhaps you should read Li Mei fans post in BIG bold letters, the story is badass if you like MK, you'll understand.

Not to mention the WHOLE story hasn't been nearly revealed yet, seriously anyone who takest this intro as the whole storyline, (which isn't even the whole thing btw) is close minded.As Cinder said this IS NOT the WHOLE STORY!!

I'm not about to argue with you, but pick out a few things:

1- We already knew the basics of the story, we didn't need some schmuck narrator telling us this.

2- You can't really tell whether it's Blaze manipulating everyone or just everyone realizing that Blaze is a greater adversary, and working together for brief time to stop him. I'm sure it's the former rather than the latter, but you can't deduce that from the intro alone.

3- I don't see how it destroyed the MK storyline when the intro had little to do with the existing storyline.
