Most likely, seeing that EB Games is in Europe and Australia as well as the States.

This better apply to people who already pre-ordered the game furious! I will be extreamly pissed if I don't get the Collectors Edition, since I already pre-ordered my copy a few months ago from EBGames.

I think you would need to contact EB or where you preordered from for a better answer. Chances are you aren't automatically eligible for it since you paid one price and the CE is available at another.

I preordered MKD at EB around 1 week ago, and nobody said anything about the collectors edition.

So I'm gonna go over there again today and see what's up. They did something like that to me before.

I was supposed to get a T shirt with Soul Calibur 2 if I preordered it, but they never game me the Shirt.

I didn't care about the shirt, but this is different.

i pre-ordered deception a month and a half ago. However, i just went into the Gamestop from where i pre-ordered and inquired about the "special edition". The employee looked it up on the computer and confirmed that a $59.99 special edition WILL BE available, but the computer did not have further details. I transfered my deposit onto the "special edition", which he said would be released on Oct. 4th.

bueno boricua if you find something about the special edition let me know couse i wanna get the whole deal, and am ganna get as soon as it comes out that arcade collection from midway it has the 2 best mk games ever (mk1 and mkII)... well the offer is pretty sweet i got nothing else to say but GET OVER HERE~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~>mkd

To all the fellow puerto ricans, I think you'd like to know that at least the Gamestop/Babbage's in Plaza Las Americas is taking pre-orders on the Collector's Edition of Deception. I put $10 into it myself yesterday.

I just remembered something that might help us! I remember that when I pre-ordered Mortal Kombat:Deception for Xbox from EBgames a few months ago I also pre-ordered Halo 2 for Xbox, and the guy specifically asked me if I wanted the Pre-order the regular copy or the Limited Edition one that comes in the Tin Collectors box for $5 dollars more!
K, I just got back from EB at Gurnee mills and guess what....

They didn't even know about the special offer.

I printed the article on the MKO front page and had it there to show them and they were like WOW this is really worth it!

Then the looked it up on the computer and there it was.

So I switched the preorder to MKD collection now.
Good thing I checked huh?

Anyway, while I was there I pre ordered Tekken 5, and finally bought a copy of PSI-OPS for the Xbox which I'm about to play now. grin

For anybody that preordered it, or is going to preoreder it, MAKE SURE you ask about special edition.

They didn't tell me and they might not tall you either.
