I think she said like two, but I just re-watched the series on you tube and Sonya is a bitch. She even saids it herself in one episode. MKDOTR was a pretty intense cartoon, I don't see why people call it "kiddie".

Yeah. It's a pretty universal rule that your source material takes precedent, particularly when there's fifty years of it.
The Flash isn't a nasty, brooding, half-crazed maniac in the comics, but he isn't there to be comic relief, like the cartoon.

Cage has as much of a chance of making it as Jax did, meaning if this was 1964, Jax wouldn't be in it.

Cage is more of a joke character, if you will. He is far too playful for a game a serious as this. Cage can never be dark and gritty, no matter how good of an actor he claims he is.

Flash at times is similar to Cage in that silly humor sense, takes things not so seriously but I also noticed Booster Gold lol is quite comedic a little, not sure how silly he is within the comics but in the shows he was also quite silly.

to be honest i think that Cage has really deep personality and surely have a more detailed storyline than Chameleon,Khameleon,Bo' Rai Cho,Hotaru,Darrius,Dairou....of the new ones only Kenshi and maybe Mavado seems to be more characticized than Cage.
of the old ones,yes there a lot of ppl that have a better stryline than Cage,but surely Jax is not one of theese ones.

so my opinion is:Cage should be in MK vs DCU,jax shouldn't.

personally i don't know whether he will or wont be in mkvsdc and personally i don't care. i never play as him and he is one of my least favorite characters. in or out either way i'm fine.

Yeah, I actually got more into Bart Allen honestly after seeing him from Smallville and the character looks alot like the actor they got for him. Sucks that he dies in the comics though, seems like a cool characters. Definitely one of my favorite Flash's, Bart Allen is Barry Allen's cousin or Nephew right? I know they're related, and the whole time travel story was cool.

I would agree with you that Cage does have a deep personality. Although it may not be canon with the game storyline, the Mortal Kombat movie portrayal of Johnny Cage is how I had always envisioned the game version of Cage.

I depict Cage as a very formidable fighter and is trully a warrior deep at heart and isn't as corny as many fans would envision him to be. Sonya in the movie started seeing that side of Cage as well as Raiden and Shang Tsung, who wanted to challenge him in Mortal Kombat untill Liu Kang stepped in.

In the first Mortal Kombat I favored Cage because he in a sense he was the most normal character out of the entire cast. Out of all the Gods, Ninjas, Soldiers, Monks, and criminals, Cage was the movie star martial artist who didn't have a clue what he was stepping into. Also remember Cage, Liu Kang, and Sonya fought through the entire tournament with the other martial artists but they all managed to survive. That should make you not doubt his abilities as a fighter. I also believe that in the comics when the island fortress crumbled into the ocean, Cage was the only mortal besides Liu Kang to walk away from the island while Sonya, Kano, and Goro fell into a portal into Outworld. If i'm not mistaken Raiden snatched Cage before he fell in the portal too and left him in the sea to drift.

In MK2, it was Jax who picked up Cage in a military sea craft who was drifting in the ocean and Jax learned from Cage about the events of the first Mortal Kombat. When he went back to the states he immediatley created a film about the events he just encountered to what I think 1. Profit off of them and 2. Let people know his story. Supposedly in the MK cannon his movie was put on hold because he chose to leave the set of his own movie to follow Liu Kang into Outworld. To me he is more than just a corny movie star. Cage also survived his encounter in Outworld so despite what many think, Cage didn't die during the events of MK2.

I feel that Cage really did die and it only added to his character. Cage died after all the Earth warriors returned to Earthrealm and when Shao Kahn invaded Earthrealm. That I hope the developers leave that as the official story for him.

MK Trilogy in a way started shining light on Johnny Cage in terms of his selflessness and nobleness, when he died he came back to Earth and still fought with his allies knowing that even if they do win he was going to leave Earthrealm and go into the heavens. When they fought back Shao Kahn and loosened his grip on Earthrealm, Cage was able to have his soul assend to he heavens and his story could have ended there, but I think it would not have done him justice.

MK4 had me look at Cage like he was anxious as hell to get back to Earthrealm after seeing what Shinnok could do. If I remember correctly before Shinnok kidnapped Kitana in Edenia where Liu Kang was, he enacted revenge on the Elder Gods in the heavens where Johnny Cage's spirit was. Because of Shinnok breaking his rules I look at Raiden as a bad ass god for breaking some rules of his own and helping Johnny Cage come back to Earthrealm as a mortal and granting him a second chance at life. I hope they keep this cannon in the story as well, because it adds a whole new depth to Raiden in his fued with Shinnok and also could have been a preview to the radical Raiden as depicted in Deception and Armageddon.

Then MKDA came out and completley fucked up the story where Cage was going, it completley reversed everything I thought was Cage's story and switched it up making him look like a cocky dootche bag who was bored because he wanted to make good sellable movies. It didn't show any sign of Johnny Cage fighting on behalf of his fallen buddy Liu Kang, trying to start a romance with Sonya and make it official in the game storyline rather than just in the movie, instead his story was very flat. Hopefully other fans see this side of Cage that I see, I know Queve and I would discuss this together thouroghly and we see eye to eye on this. If you want to look at all of Cage's biographies you will see what I am saying is true. His story is open for interpretation which I think is really cool too.
