I like the fatalities. All of this "Scorpion's fatality doesn't suit him" talk is just bullshit. Go tell Scorpion that he is predictable and only allowed to act and perform in certain ways and see what he does to you. These fatalities, so far, are the best since MK2.
Then we have the terrible idea of giving people their old fatalities (yet you complain about rehashed MKDA fatalities in the same paragraph). This is stupid and unoriginal. I mean sure, Scorpion can really only ever have the Toasty Fatality and THAT'S ALL. Scorpion shouldn't have more than one fatality because if there is more than one, at least one of them isn't the toasty fatality. Am I the only one who got sick of that fatality after MK2? Twice is enough thanks. Are we seeing how stupid we sound?
Not every fatality is going to be a hit. There was always a few bad ones, even in their prime. I for one will take new fatalites over the old ones because they are different, not necisarily better.
I think that if we had set these sorts of guidlines for characters we would never have seen scorpions throat cut fatality in MK2, or maybe even Quan Chi's leg rip in MK4 (as he was portrayed as a somewhat weak physical character in that on, even if he is a beast in MKDA).
Let Midway experiment and just enjoy what they come up with without giving every chracter a limitation on what they can or can't do. There are no limits in Mortal Kombat.

Well everyone is entitled to there opinion I suppose. Telling him to "shut-up" isn't right but I can understand how some are agrivated. There have been alot of posts of "I hate these fatialites" threads and it can get on peoples nerves. Just please if you are going to complain about fatalities then do it in a thread that is about complaining about fatalities or just complaing in general. Thank you.

Dude I think that some fatalities are a little lame. but they are doing a good job of making them different. But Being a Scorpion Fan, I just wished that they used his Toasty fatality just one more time. Right now I think Sub zero has best fatalities right now. I am a too a little dissappointed at Scorpions neck crack. At least he could of slit the guys throat with the blade on the spear to end it. geez oh well. I guess you could live with it. Mabe their will be some fatalities to unlock. Probably won't happen.

He is right about some, nightwolf's fatalitys are pretty bad and I aint happy with sindels or kabals - or scorpions arm rip and beat the head up - and mileenas leg rip and beat the head up - I also dont like kira's second (the kick and explode one)the rest are great tho!

I think like in every mk there are good and bad fatalities... only this time they may seem less inpressive since we are used to them... I think most characters have 1 good and 1 not-so good fatality... that's what ussually happens... 1 quick flashy one to impress the ones who like those, and a long, gory, brutal one 4 those who like those better...

Be thankful Mortal Kombat is Still around. You know how fucking happy I am that Deception is coming out? You know how happy I was when Deadly Alliance was announced? You know how lucky we are that the MK Franchise is still around? Who could honestly say they weren't worried that after MK 4... MK would just die off with the arcade scene? I certainly did. For a LONG time no one said anything about an MK 5.
And you wanna complain that Scorpions Neck crack fatality is lame? Or that Nightwolf's Head chop and Axe throw are Bad?

Some people should just stop and realize that on October 4th we will be playing the 6th Mortal Kombat. This beautiful franchise started in 1992. And is still alive, more powerful than ever before in 2004. That says something.

I think the Fatalities rock. They're better than they were in MK:DA. I just don't like the awkward moments of silence before "Fatality" is displayed. Kinda ruins what would be decent fatalities by making you kinda wait to see if "is that it?" Fatality.

While I agree with your opinion on repeated threads and how they should all complain in one thread. You show so much ignorance and arrogance in the way you explained yourself. Please show some more respect for others otherwise you wont get much respect back.

Half the people who criticize the game are immature and show no reasons to back up their statements. The other half show respect to those with different opinions and supply a great deal of valid reasons as to why they feel a certain way with an issue.
Before you ever think of posting another offensive post such as you have use your damned brain. This just shows you have plenty of growing up to do, so until then just stay off the forums and lurk like a good little boy.

I like the Fatalities we've seen, their was a few of them that i wasn't impressed with but as some one said before me, their were fatalities that sucked in the old MK's. Each character has multiple fatalities. I don't see why everyone is so hung up on fatalities anyways. Don't get me wrong i love a good fatality but theirs a lot more to Mortal Kombat specially with MK:D. Multiple Fatalities per character, Mutlitered stages, Online Play, Konquest is something more then a tutorial, Mortal Kombat Chess. Some of the fatalities so far aren't great but a lot i've seen were awesome. You should stop bitching about a few fatalities when their so much more to this game. Stop bitching...

To me, it all boils down to taste. Not everyone thinks decapitations are kool while others may. I admit, some of the ones I have seen could have been done better (looks at Kira's slice fatality), but there are MANY more that we havent even seen yet.
There will always be good and bad fatalities. I say we wait until we have the game to speculate the fatalities as a whole, huh?

so far I like em all... mostly, I mean none are really... bad. I didn't really hate the neck stretch too much actually. I think it looked worse because everyone only had one. It got a laugh out of me a couple times, so it's not like it didn't have any value.
This game is gonna be great. The fatlities will likely help determine your favorite character. If you don't like certain fatalities a character does, you will likely lose some love for that character. This isn't bad, it just helps in the selection process of our favorites. It's all relative.
As an example, if Quan Chi was the only character with a fatality in MKDA and it was the neck stretch, you'd eat it up. Every fatlity will be measured up to previous games as well as the newest, and because of that, there will always be a a last place.
