I agree completely, I would enjoy seeing more "drama" added, as long as it doesn't take away from the gameplay or seem too cheesy.

Well I would say that you forgot about Mileena and Baraka, but thinking on it, theirs was more a union of "oppurtunity" not "love" So you'd be right. I would like to see them explore a possible relationship between Sonya and Cage...I know that it's only hinted that they have feelings for each other in the comics and movies, and not so much in the game....but I think that they should go with it...possibly even include a jealousy thing for Jax and Johnny.

Great idea. I mean, people keep complaining that Jax, Cage, and Sonya have become boring and overused. A new twist like that would really put some life back into those characters.

Agreed, Much as I ABSOLUTELY love Sonya, she needs a new direction. Although this Cage/Jax thing would have to be only part of it, there'd need to be something deeper going on with her, but it is a good start I think.

I don't know if this counts. But in Cage's ending you can see Sonya gripping his Leg in the movie poster for MK Deadly Alliance. Hahah. I always saw them as being a possible item down the road. I'd like to see that.

I would personally like to see Raiden get some lovin', perhaps it could throw in some unballance regarding his stability as a "god." Could alter his decision making, etc.

Also, I want scorpion to get his family back.... I think that right there could be a storyline worth developing. All he's doing now is just hunting peeps down, there could be soooo much more to it. I always pictured scorp as the silent, haunted warrior who lives a life of loss. So lonely, yet so strong. This really could be developed upon. Anywho, peace and "love" ya'll.

i was going to post something but i will use this post since the stupid computer has already done this, maybe with them bringing liu kang back they could make him the champ again but make kung lao go insane over loosing the champ's position, and make him betray his friends because of him being crazy he would be more susceptable to mind controll or something like that

I wanna say im a long time wwe fan and i agree they have deep storylines anyway.. I think they can devolop a love triangle with sonya cage and jax.
idea, what if sonya chose cage and jax gets pissed and kills cage and then sonya devastated goes into saclusion for and we dont see her for a while and she goes bad and quites the Special Forces and dies her hair black or brunnette or something and a few MK's later and she goes on a mission to kill jax and runs into him and fight and she tries to kill Jax but he shoots her in self defence and leaves.
Side note Jax QUITES THE ARMY!! so he wouldnt have to be a army guy anymore.. Then its later revealed that Sonya was under mind control from the dragon king so she would kill all the earthrealmers undercover now this idea would have to be drawn out kinda like Cammy from Street Fighter. And towards the end of Mortal Kombat she goes nuts and looses her memory of who she is and Jax finds her half dead and cares for her and she finally gets her memory back and Sonya starts to get feelings for Jax and they go off and get married someday and bla bla bla ever after.

I like the love triangle between Jax, Cage, and Sonya. Cage could be the wise ass that Jax despises and Cage would win over Sonya, which would piss off Jax. But when it comes down to fighting, the two will always put their grudge aside and battle the evil forces that come their way.

A possible relationship is Kung Lao and Kitana, Kung Lao would develop feelings for her and Kitana would refuse him because she knows Liu Kang returns. Kung Lao would sulk around in depression untill he finds out Liu Kang is evil. Kung Lao would have to fight his Shaolin brother so that his soul may rest in peace. Kitana would fall in love with Kung Lao after the two clash in the one of the greatest fights in Deception, where Kung Lao defeats the Champion of Mortal Kombat.

haha, just a stupid story that kinda relates to this subject. When i was younger and like first started playing the MK games...probably around the the time the 2nd or 3rd game came out...i would always connect the characters by the color of they're outfits, so Jade was Mrs. Reptile and Sub-Zero and Kitana were a thing and Rain and Mileena and whatever...kinda lame but whatever..

Am I the only one who hates the idea of Sonya and Cage falling in love? I mean, I can see Cage having a crush on Sonya, and being convinced that Sonya feels the same way and is just putting on a tough-girl, hard-to-get act, but in reality she just thinks Cage is a dumbass.
