i do indeed like the ideas of the bio's being made and am in fact pleased with this one, but honestly, i just want to know what the hell happened. what grand ending was supposed to bring to a close one of the best stories in gaming. **weeps** will we ever know?

Finally, we have a first bio. I'm glad to see it,s well written and makes a lot of sense compared to what we got in endings. As it seems , we're gonna get prologues all leading to the big battle in front of the pyramid, but I really would like a real ending / closure at the end of all these prologues. Or maybe they will only reveal the results of this huge battle in the next game. But anyway, I would really like to have the closure before that.

i wonder if theyll post a bio a day... i hope so.... thatd be.. well... cool

im a lil' scared now though, maybe all the good guys bios will just be them doing... something (or nothing) and then being recruited by johnny, and then maybe johnnys will be a short paragraph of writing then a list of all the chars he tried to recruit or something lol i hope to god not!!!.....

Apparently liking Pokemon is a sign of immaturity, but IMO, it is that kind of ignorance which shows who truly is immature...

And talking about 'too little too late', I love that song!

The bio is pretty good, a lot better than I expected.

I like how he's ditched the Special Forces and also how he isnt a complete goody two shoes, gives him a bit more personality.

I agree with Bezou, but I'm still curious about the rest of the bios.

I am actually very pleasantly surprised with the quality of Kenshi's bio. In all honesty, the MK Team isn't making any additional income by producing these bios for free so I was expecting well... crap. But Now I see that they are really trying to boast the story now. If the other 61 Bios are this good then maybe we those who blasted the story will have to reconsider their opinion. Good work MK Team - Keep it up!

So Johnny Cage is the one to bring the good guys together? Well with Liu still dead and Raiden all evilish now it makes sense that either Kung Lao or Johnny Cage would lead the charge of the heroes. However it's still a little wierd that the COMEDY RELIEF is the guiding light, plus HOW did Johnny learn of Shinnok's return? The Hollywood Grapevine? Entertainment Tonight - Netherrealm Edition? Can't wait for Johnny's bio and learn how Shinnok is about to get CAGED!

I made the pokemon comment because it's a children's show that was dumbed down for America from the Japanese show. I also made it because most of Bezou's works are joke related - taking a comedian seriously isn't very common.

I really liked that!It explained alot and also brought up new questions to be answered.Cant wait to see more.

you got to understand, that it was obvious people were going to feel like this, i don't blame those who do either. Armageddon was supposed to be all about story in the first place. Also, it would have been nice if they could have gave us a new Kenshie render with his bio.

Just a question,i don't now very well english,and johnny Cage aracter:
does he have a big (important role in the storyine.
He gathers the good warriors,even tough we have to find how he approaches characters like Stryker and Kai.
And if he have a importanyt role i'm sure that he'll will survive alongside with Kenshi!

I think this is a fairly decent Bio.

Looks like Vogel, if he even created them, will be trying to make these bios string together and make actual sense. I really don't blame the storyline on Vogel though, seeing how he didn't really like the Idea of MK:A.

The first things I said:

1-WTF!?
2-Wow!!!

At first I was like: “WHAT THE FUCK!” Why the hell did they make this bios take so long if they are going to ***look*** so disappointing? The text used looks horrible and the skull background has gotten really old already, no new pic of Kenshi, just a cut and paste of his head render...how very boring.

They could had at least made a new render of him, if not the entire body just his face...AT LEAST! It sucks they are making the bios rather “incomplete”. Presentation is always important, and the bio pics/presentation in MKDA and MKD looked awesome, very pretty and interesting, this look like a rushed job.

You can do better MK Team! Please start making them look like real bios, they have always looked awesome in all Mk games, very cool, but this is just...incomplete.

But now about the big thing....WOW....just wow. This was actually an amazing bio!!!! Very very good!

I honestly cant wait to read the rest now, Im so pissed they were all foolish enough to not have this bios in the game, they should had worked on them earlier so they made it in the final cut. It really sucks the way the team handled MKA, the game had the most potential, enough to become the best Mk game of all, but....

Anyway, this bio is just pure crazyness, its fantastic!

Im actually more interested in the deeper details then Kenshi himself with this bio, like the involvement of Johnny Cage.

Now THAT was an excellent and amazing move, Johnny Cage has finally been given the importance he disserves, Im so happy they finally gave him a different crucial role, he is now the one who gathers the forces of light to fight, and somehow, he knows about the return of Shinnok.

What are the relations? How can this be?

I still don’t understand though, why Kenshi suddently got so interested in the red dragon and Mavado...sounds like something important is missing there, kind of empty and silly imo, it sounds like he now cares for the red dragon more then anything without any reason, just because....I hope they explain that.

I actually kind of like that its Kenshi the one who “might” (or will?) guide them to battle, because of all the new characters, he actually feels more like a hero then any of the rest, and if this is the case, better him then any other new guy or any of the predictable classics like Kung Lao and Liu Kang.

Another 2 things I find stupid about Kenshi in this bio is his complete and foolish indifference towards Johnny Cages invitation to help the forces of light and him leaving the special forces because Tsung was “rumored” death.

First of all, Kenshi comes out like a jerk for not wanting to help the forces of light, he sounds arrogant and rather selfish, like an idiot (and its kind of funny because people often think that’s Johnny Cages role but he has always been there, fighting, and now he is doing more), and he also looks stupid for believing the “rumors” and just forgetting about Shang Tsung. We know Shang is still alive, but even if he died, I guess Kenshi should had made sure about it and not just believing the rumors. His departure of the special forces was cool imo, but the way he left once again makes him look like a different sort of character then what we thought he was.

Kenshi is presented like an arrogant selfish bastard in this bio, but it seems that he will be some sort of main leader.

What can I say, Im surprised and I LOVE everything about this bio.

Johnny Cages involvement was definitely the best thing of all this, I cant wait to see what are his relations with Shinnok, and I hope we discover why Kenshi is now obsessed with Mavado and the red dragon, who are known targets of the Special Forces, and why he left the group if they could very well help him more then anyone else in his quest against this clan.

I wonder why they made Kenshi look like a bastard. Whatever reason, it better be good. Still, the bio is FANTASTIC!

Reptilefanatic, it's not the Vogel didn't like the idea of MKA, it's just he knew that it was going to be hard to explain characters like Sheeva,Motaro,Mavado ect. but the mk story had plot holes even before MKA, MKD had a few, but it's just MKA went dead when the MK team decided just to do endings, how in the hell are you going to have endings and no bios? It was a stupid move.

Why the hell is every 1 always defending BEZUO!!!!???? I wouldnt take his comment seriously either. Especially from a grown man who still likes pokemon. I dont think its too late at all. Yet anways.

Queve, remember that Mavado nearly killed Kenshi in MKDA and later Sub-Zero rescued him in his MKD Bio. And Kenshi is a lone warrior, only used the Special Forces to goes to Outworld and try to kill Shang Tsung, but his intention was never to be part of a "group". He's the "anti-hero", if Cage will be Cyclops, Kenshi will be Wolverine (but clearly is more inspired in Daredevil, apart of a mythological blind samurai).

I find that interesting, too. Maybe Shinnok's been in a morphed disguise in Hollywood this whole time. Most likely as Tom Cruise.



From what I remember reading in another thread, a poster mentioned that Kenshi's bio from Deception had said that Mavado nearly killed Kenshi and Sub-Zero found him and saved him. This is probably why Kenshi's pissed at the Red Dragon.

His Deadly Alliance bio states that he only helped the Special Forces because he wanted to get at Shang Tsung. In Deception, he was travelling with Sub-Zero for what appears to be the whole duration, to get out of Outworld. He only seems to work together with others for his own ends.
From what we know, Kenshi was actually quite arrogant before Tsung fooled him into releasing the souls of his ancestors. I think he did learn some humility, though now, he seems more apathetic, but retains his lone swordsman persona.

Obviously the "too little, too late" comment is in reference in the Bezou early post. But hey, it isn't your fault, you're the "passive smoker"...
