Midway Releases Mortal Kombat: Unchained Box Art, Plus New Info!

Midway Games has released the box art for the upcoming PSP port of Mortal Kombat: Deception, Mortal Kombat: Unchained! In addition to revealing the box art and the new name (the game had been previously known as Mortal Kombat: Deception Unchained), it was revealed that the game would have six new fighters and feature a new endurance mode.

At this time, the identities of the new kombatants and details on the new endurance mode are pending, as well as an exact release date. We'll be keeping an eye out for this game; as we learn more, we'll be sure to report it to you!

I bet they'll be Shao Kahn Goro Kung Lao Sonya Jax Cage Oh well,ill just wait for MKA,dont feel like wasting money to buy the psp just to play the new characters

As far as the new characters go, it would seem that the obvious two are Shao Kahn and Goro, then you can speculate other obvious ones to be either: Kung Lao, Cage, Sonya, Jax, (who are more relevant due to their positions in MKD) then any other MKDA character. I'd be nice but unlikely to get a brand new character such as Sektor or Rain per say.

The fighting is more than likely going to be broken, especially since I can't do a frigging jab to counter what seems to be a long winded kick on the console version.

It's more than likely not going to change.

I like the sound of MK:C. Hand help, MK over wifi. It's about bloody time endurance makes a return, hopefully it isn't as bad as mk4's endurance. It would be nice if they added some of the level's that didn't make it into Deception, like the Ice Cave, but that would require that they actaully make worm for the death trap.

As for the six characters I have a feeling they will be...

Shao Kahn, Goro, Rain, Sareena, Kung Lao, and Sonja.

Who I wish for...

Kai, Reiko, Sektor, Nood Saibot and Smoke as individual characters, Shang Tsung, Quan Chi, Fujin, Blaze (with good moves).

In which case the six new characters may be:
Kabal, Nightwolf, Baraka, Mileena, Sindel and Liu Kang???

all these were allready in deception, they are not new.....

it said 6 new (to deception)characters not old. knowing midway this characters are prob.

shan tsung?
goro?
shao kahn?
kung lao?
sonya or jonny?

but i have no idea, i could be miles away from the true...

It called Quan Chi, not Cuan Chi.

I think it ́s two very new Characters, and the rest is old.

They'll introduce new characters. I bet that they will be kahn and goro, and others from Deadly Alliance. You guys really expet them to put in that much effort into it?
