actually i heard RUMORS froma VERY RELIABLE source, who by the way DOES NOT come to this forum or any other forum, hope boon doesnt read this cause he will start firing people LOL. BUT a RUMOR, repeat RUMOR, has it that SMOKE is actually SUBZERO 5th, they are after all best friends, and they are both in the Lin Kuei, not to mention that smoke and subzero 5th are the same exact AGE, but they were NEVER seen together and smoke wasnt even mentioned AT ALL during subzero 5th reign. Smoke never even exixted, and all of a sudden POOF he is in MK2 right after classic sub "died".

I also heard that isnt smoke, its vapor from the ice powers he lost. And if you look at smoke now it looked more like vapor then smoke.

they are best friends maybe even more then best friends. SMOKE IS SUBZERO 5th, and NO you arent killing nay characters, if u like smoke u like smoke, if he is subzero 5th then he is doesnt mean you wont like smoke nomore. SUBZERo 5th will never come back with the new subzeros moves, so if they are both in the game and they DO have different moves that is great.

I also heard 3 months ago that the new pictures of subzero have his scar(the new sub) and i still DONT see his scar and then it says subzeros enemy is scorpion and scorpions BIO(the MK:deception bios by the way) say subby is his enemy.

AND as storyline goes scorpion actually PROTECTED the new subby, and HATED the old subby. Which means he was ALWAYS allies with the new subzero which was weird. they were NEVER enemies.
NOw his bio says they are enemies, and he is older BUT he doesnt have the dragon medalleon AT ALL on him so how did he get older?? I am starting to think after reading those bios that this subby is the classic subby, plus i think the other sub got trapped in earthrelm with the earthrealm warriors when hsu hao destroyed the portal. SO how did he end up in outworld?? weird, but anyway for some reason i know that ice subby is the SAME new subzero. But the classic subby is RUMORED to be SMOKE at this point by ed boon, will he change the storyline, well 90% YES, but 10% chance he will stay with the smoke=SUBERO 5th theory then you would see two subbys in the game also smoke isnt a cyborg so he is allies again with subzero (NEW). He also can talk now and has his memory back, so will he tell the NEW subzero that he is indeed SUBZERo classic. ONly time will tell!!!!

They also need to update the bios anyway, cause scorpion is enemy with baraka cause he is quan chis body guard. hotoru is enemy of subzero.

scorpion also has shuginko as enemy and jade has tanya as enemy while tanya has jade and sindel and kitana as enemy.

Mileena has MR boyfriend baraka and kitana as enemy making her NEUtral and not EVil which the bio says she is EVIL right now.

MY QUESTION is why do they have sub as scorpions enemy, maybe another clue to classic subzero?????? IF NOT is smoke subzero????? weird as shit, iam start talking to as many "sources" that i can find and see if i get different answers, some lie of course and some are for real, ima go look for some non realiable sources that go on this forum, but for now i stick with my VERy reliable for now.

noob saibot isnt subzero classic, Noob was badass as hell with the blue looking face in UMK3 and his lui kang kick combo was tight and his smoke ball i hope they bring that back, but i aint impressed with his white look in MK:D and wish he had a grim reaper alternate outfit(grim reaper wears a skirt and it still looks better then noobs alternate that he has now) can someone post a grim reaper PICture pleaseee (even though that is off subject)

smoke is friend with the younger brother not older. also i was argying umk3 sub zero. i stand by beleiveng noob has been a demon forever. a demon not a mortal. i only argued really about umk3 sub-zero being sub-zero older and who he is. noob is a demon. but anything can happen in the mk universe and if this theroy was true then it would be a huge curveball. also mk2 sub-zero was an enemy of sub-zero. but scorpion relized he was a choosen warrior and sparred hi life when they did kombat in mk2. in mk4 quan chi told scorpion that that sub-zero had killed his family. that made sub-zero scorpions main enemy. when scorpion defated sub-zero and was about to kill him quan chi revealed that he had used the spectre and he was the one who killed his family.

And about Nightworlf and Stryker's warriors gathering, that was only in their endings, which means there is a chance it never happened.


Yeah, but both endings mention the same event and both talk about it as if it happened before they won, so it's very likely it happened.



You might be right about it being a MK4 cliffhanger, but since no one knows for certain in the ending, the most reasonable solution is that he is who he is portrayed to be-- the original Sub-Zero.

Anyways they probably didnt even want to use that ending, I think if they decided they wanted to use the masked Sub-Zero they would have revamped his ending in MKT (like Ermac's and Mileena's)-- the ending is void to the storyline anyways (just like Ermac's and Mileena's original endings).


If they DIDN'T want to use him they would have either removed the ending or changed it to mention that it was non-canon. Like Human Smoke. In UMK3 he has an ending talking about how he becomes human by winning and runs off to the forest. In MKT they changed it to make him a non-canon addition. Why not do that with CSB? Ermac and Mileena's UMK3 endings are void because their MKT endings contradict them and override it. The same cannot be said of CSB.

Everything in the game points to him being canon. Nothing in MK4 or MKDA contradicts this. You and others can say over and over "he is non-canon" all you want but none of you have provided anything to back that up.

I gotta reply here just because this is one of those very few theories made up that can hold water. I doubt it would happen but its good, and I'm impressed with the backround knowledge that was put into this! Plus, Noob is becoming more of a fan favorite and his character is needed to become much more a strong point along the story lines, so to say its CSZ is a good thing because a main "storyline" character should not have a spoofed name. Even if it does sound cool to some, Boon Tobias should just not be in the storyline.

Noob Saibot isn't the older Sub-Zero.

Older Sub-Zero's appearance in UMK3 and MKT was non-canon. Sub-Zero's Konquest storyline mentions that the older Sub-Zero died at the hands of Scorpion in MK1. Even the MK team stated that older Sub-Zero is officially dead.

sub-zero (orginal) is dead. killed by scorpion, he isnt noob saibot or any other character. sub-zero (II) name is sub-zero because he wanted to honor his brothers death and took his place. sub-zero (classic umk3/mkt) was just a filler character. he has the mk2 subs bio and they changed his ending to make it seem interesting...it wouldnt look right if the ending read like it did in mk2 now would it? didnt think so.

at that time, enings were "what if" and nothing was ever official until the next game. clasic subs ending never happened.

Kabal was a new favorite that entered mk.

we had a playable shokan and also was a female and we had a suboss that was not a shokan that game was new and a surprize as i look on the arcade screen with the crowd everywhere in the arcades. Jax didnt look plain in that game and the combos were longer and better then ever making the game a badass combo fest game for experts only, with more stage levels and Lui kang kicked major ass and the difficulty in that game kills that of MK2 if you put it on master mode with very hard gameplay.

That subzero kicked ass with his ice clone and his ice clone is back and nobody gives a shit about the classic subzero, he can rott for all i care.
