That would kind of interesting, I also wouldn't mind 3 costumes 2 being alternates per character either honestly.

MKA has over 60 characters with alternates while MK8 will have 20-22 max so I think it's possible.

Anyway, yea that would be cool. I got Army of Two, and you can change the mask for Salem and Rios, and Armor on both, to None, Light Heavy, & Heavy.

I'll be completely honest here:

When i first got news about what MK 8 would be, about it being a crossover, and thus far being most probably non-canonical (if ti is, i'll sure be GREATLY dissapointed), i felt insulted, quite betrayed and totally hangry.

I've loved MK for years, it is what got me into video games in the first place, and i was pretty much all fucked up when we were informed about MK vs DCU.

Well, soem weeks later, right now, i don't see it so negative as i saw it in the first view. I mean, other fighing franchises have crossed over with some other franchise (beat'm up or not), and it did not hurt the series in any way. In the contrary, in some cases, the franchises only evolued with crossovers.

What i am not liking at all, is the possibility of this being cacnon. I mean, if this game turns out to be part of the canon MK storyline, i'll surely be offended, regardless of how great it is.


Anyways, i think the game will have a feature somewhat superior to a costume customization mode.. something richer and greater. Let's see what will time tell us.

As a side note, does anybody know when will we get another character / background render? I know Suby has showed himself only a few days ago, but i'm sure eager to view more!

I'd definitely welcome customizable outfits. I know I'd change Scorpion's outfit as much as possible. Not really liking the new design.

They need to add a customizable option. For example like if you wear a Krypton belt on for instance Sub-Zero and he faces Superman, Thus will even the odds just a little. I know it's a bad example, but it's to give a general idea. Soul Calibur said, the stuff you give the KAK's in game, will affect the way they play.

I think they could also perhaps combine the KAK with this new idea giving the player more options.

I'm sure the KAK haters would like that idea. I wouldn't mind either personally.

It would be a great replacement for KAK cuz I won't have to bitch about them beating me by bieng cheap like I do in all the other KAk threads.

It wouldn't bother me, nor would it hurt. I always enjoyed that customizable freedom in Tekken... even though 90% of the props were ridiculous. It's definitely a nice touch that offers a sense of uniqueness and individuality for the Online fighting community. I wouldn't mind as long as they don't spend TOO much time on this just to make another MK gimmick. I still want my solid fighting gameplay, graphics, and character/level designs.

It's not a gimmick, just an extra cool option.

If that were the case then all wrestling games would be about the KAK alone, which of course isn't true but some people buy all these games because of the KAK, most don't though.



Or better yet, combine the two. Have a KAK option back, but have a secondary KAK option called "Kustom Kostume mode" where you can literally edit the costume.

Please no more KAK. I can't take it anymore. Making people is fun but it's just not any fun to play as them. If they do include KAK it had better be 10000000000000000000 x better than it was in MKA.

Customizable outfits would be great. Tekken 5 had it and it worked so it could work for MK as well. that way we can give Scorpion pants and change that ridiculous belt.

I hate that belt. The skull is fine but it's like as big as his head almost. lol.

KAK made the game way unbalanced and allowed people to be cheap online. In my opinion ruend MKA. Only fun thing about KAK was making Klassic Ninjas or New Ninjas.

Anyway if they did something like customize outfits, That would be genious. Would add lots of run to the game, and when playing online everyones character would more than likely be different. I think it should be limited though. So people cant turn Scorpion into a really goofy character. I think there should be set choices, like different Scorpion masks, and maybe a couple without masks, and maybe a few different outfit designs but there all good looking true scorpion outfits.

This is a great idea! I'm really digging it. It may be combined with KAK, but I don't want it to return just because of those chaep KAK's which are used online.

But the power to adapt the charachters... that is just plain great!
