MKA is dead....

I know, most of you will say its been dead after the first week........ However I was able to find decent games up until recently, even if it meant facing off against KAK whores and Bosses. I didnt mind. And I could always count on 10-20 vs Easy at 2 am.

But now, there are only rejecting rank whores and pullers. In fact, the only two people Ive played worth my time for the entire month was MKLegend and Mesofly. And that was only once. I went on at least 5 times a week. I would even go so far as to leave other games to accept any decent friend request just to play MKA. Still nothing to keep me interested in playing.

But thats why its dead to me.....as far as the community....

I noticed most of the threads are only about UMK3, VF5, Thanksgiving and of course MKLegend. Very entertaining, but it really has nothing to do with MKA. Gameplay or even tourneys. So you can figure MKA is dead if you looked at the posts on MKO.

So, I guess I'll just redirect the topic of my own thread for you guys....

-UMK3 is NOT the best MK game, MK2 is......FACT.....

-VF5 is probably the best 3D fighter ever made even though I havent played it or even seen screen shots....but VF2 Kicked ass so it must be true.....

-Happy Thanksgiving and hopefully you werent killed by your guest so they can move into your house and call it their own.
Really, it was a day to give thanks for what you have.

This is about the 400th separate declaration that MKA is dead. It can only be dead once. And it hasn't happened yet.

As for the Xbox community... It's only dead here. There's nothing to talk about here except for how much of a shady character MKF is. What else is there?

MKF - I already said.

Trax - Doesn't get online yet.

Maverick - They banned him here.

Atari - You never post.

MKACentral is where all of Xbox is and it's not dead. Good games, Match History, GamerTags, Photos, and other threads are consistently active. If you stay exclusive to MKO, I'd see why you'd think MKA is dead.

Nice post Atari!

Chaos, I plugged in sometime last week and I've been keeping an eye out to catch some of you guys but to no avail!

I don't think it has anything to do with MKO or MKAC; MKA is indeed very dry online because less people now take the game seriously. HALO 3, VF5 and many other releases have somewhat had a knock on effect on MKA.

We should start looking forward to MK8. MKA is almost (just almost) dead!

......what Im really concerned about is the status of UMK3, GEETAR Hero (thanks Red) and COD28. ....

Oh yeah, whats going on with the anual MK dork meeting in NYC this year.....unfortunately I moved from the hood and live down south so I cant say Ill be there to cancel....sorry.

If I'm the "hot topic" for you(which is obvious of late then all I have to say is "wow"....) at least I'm not shallow..

Anywho, MKA as far as I'm concerned with the exception of a few people in the past month or so like Malone and Atari when I've gone on is utterly dead.....I go on like once a week now, too busy playing UMK3 then usually just go to bed or pop in a movie. MKA and MKD now is a bit dull.

P.S. what's up Atari? BTW, MK2 is probably the best MK game from a "classic point of view" with characters and fatalities...

Gameplay wise it's UMK3 though

MK2=defensive turtle fest

Atari if you're interested in the older MK's like some other oldschoolers out there let me know dude, I'll hook you up with the best classic MK site

I'm going up to NYC to hang with 3 of my friends from this thurs- dec4th. Me going to NYC does not constitute a meeting. I wanted to meet MKF to settle his arm wrestling challenge but he backed out faster than aids.

i tried tried to play some games,, hosted for 25 mins nothing. went to opti got rejected by greatdeadone ( nothing new there) and so kevn guy.

dead isnt the word, i might as well pop in capcom vs snk 2 eo if i want to play a dead fighter.

back to gutiar hero.

Pig - I was planning to move to ATL but I got a very good deal on a big ole house and moved to NC after the honeymoon. Ill sell the house in a few years and move to ATL, then maybe we could hang and play the GEETAR. Yeeehhhaaw. Good job staying off topic thanks.

Thanks MKLegend and Quest but I am pretty much retiring from MK games alltogether. In truth, Ive always been a Virtual Fighter fan and may even purchase a 360 to play online.

I like a well balanced COMPETITIVE game. And I remember VF2 being both. Havent played any others but Im willing to give it a try just to play the online competition....much like I did with MKD......I careless about Boon silly Konquest ideas. Really pisses me off. What a fuckin IDIOT. Focus on ONLINE GAMING. Jeeze.....and why does almost every fighter make block animation so fucking lame....who does that??? Stand there holding their crotch blocking 10 hit combos and specials.....come on.....watch a fucking KUNG FU MOVIE once in a fucking while.....defense should be interactive....enough of this silly block/counter format....IT DOESNT WORK ONLINE!!! Shit. Feel sorry for anyone buying into MK8 NONSENSE.

MKLegend - Ive read somewhere that you work like 3-4 jobs. What the hell you doing man?? You cant get ahead like that.

Work ONE job. CHOOSE the job you see the MOST POTENTIAL and give it 110%. During your time off go to training/siminars/trade school/college/library and educate yourself about your particular position and focus on that ONE job. This still equates to LESS hours worked compared to having multiple jobs AND will result in better pay and job security. You'll even have ample time for yourself to do as you please.

That goes to EVERYONE here. Work smart. .

MY LUXARY JOB MKF keeps referring to is luxary by my choosing. Here's what I do.

They want me full time but I do not want to commit full time (mainly because i leave a lot for shows with my various bands out of state, etc) however, They NEED me. They can't function without me where I work and I've established a wholw new sounds department where I work. I very very very rarely teach guitar anymore because I'm giving it my all (and getting paid almost like i'm full time) and have the luxary of leaving whenever because I'm part time.

See my genius, not commited but they are due to their need for me. Smartest way to get the best (happiest) job.
