Definitely Fly. I had my first series last night in MKA. The best player I played was JORGE JOV. He went 9-0 on me before I could even regroup and it ended 12-3. I sucked so badly even worse than when I played briefly in Dec in my one series with you. But toward the end I was feeling the flow again. I was lagging last night though (aerial combo wasn't possible) and I also had to contend with the 'D' pad but my Mad Catz is on its way.

It'd probably take me many series to get back into any form of respectable shape. I hope I can transfer that into MKD.

I blame it all on the modification of lifestyle/path I've gone through over the past 6months but shit is looking much better for me right now.

I'll be back again tonight and I'm beginning for a good ass whopping from anyone online. It's what I need! - So please punch me up whenever y'all are online.

Just a note to all the american guys. Since i'am from the UK, its kinda awkward setting up matches due to the time differences between the US and UK.

When i'm online, its mostly after 22.00pm till 01.00am GMT. So for all the rest of you, it will be either - 5 to - 8 hours behind me depending on what states your living in.

Nice series, my friend. 30 games or so? Nice to finally get some games. I was getting a little ancy towards the end from facing the same 3 characters over and over. Then you picked Hotaru and I was like, "Cool, he's mixing it up." Then that was the last match, haha.

Nice Raiden. That teleport really works for you. Only a few characters/moves could seem to interrupt you consistently. Still, nice mix-ups with him. And you weren't lying; Dirty, dirty Bo, haha.

Had that problem too with most ntsc people back in the days, couldn't connect. One of you should consider an upgrade.

The crazy thing is when I do a speed test I get at least 5MB download and 1MB upload and I have cable. I think Kris has ADSL 2 with at least 1MB upload. However when I do a trace route on my line it goes through slow hops. My latency is pretty bad. I average 107ms to reach anywhere. I think my cheap as router aint help either. I'll do more tests.

I don't think you're the one with the problem then, 107ms is pretty damn good for overseas. It's probably Kris, he should ask his ISP to change his line from interleaved to fastpath, should help with the latency. Adsl 2 isn't stable, I have adsl 2 (16/1) and my average latency with the U.S is about 200+ms.

I'll ask Kris to run some tests too. I forgot to mention this - Kris had no problem playing other folks throughout N. America. It's almost as though our lines are unable to sync or something.

My line is on "Fastpath" bro.. My upload is 1.5Mb and download is a full 24mb sync with the exchange on a SNR 6.5 profile with a line attenuation of 12. There is nothing wrong with my line

Through tests, i have found that using the Original Xbox, the stableness of the connection, especially MKD, is far worse than using the 360. I play a guy 40 minutes away from me in the same city as me on MKD using both Original Xbox's and we can hardly connect to each other.

However, using the 360, its fine, yet occasionally we get the odd drop out which is normal but not as severe as it is on Xbox 1. Also, his DSL is a 16mb line, so i dont think its a issue there with both our lines. I used to have a 2mb line back in the day wheni played all you PAL users and some NTSC later on and it was never this bad for me.

My conclusion is, is that am under suspicion M$ use diiferent servers for when users are connecting to live using a Xbox 1 and the fact is, they dont support Xbox 1 anymore but keep them active anyway since there is still a strong fan base for the original xbox. With SONY on the other hand, they use specfic servers for their titles (dedicated servers i.e Konami use their own for their PES series) , yet M$ use their own.

I remember when I was on PAL, I was only able to connect to KINGKONG on a really really good day. It was weird because we would try on the XBOX and the try on PS2 to no avail. All weird shit!

Yeah man, Very Good Games last night. I don't remember the last time I got such a whooping. You have a very interesting style of play, not really like any other high-level player I've faced. You are not overly aggresive and at the same time do not turtle. All of your moves are presicely calculated and your spacing and moving in close are always on spot. It's all very...scientific.

It seems like you mix up several different strategies such as partial combos, free throws, 50/50 mind games very well. You also side=step quite well. But your strongest point is that you make very few mistakes.

I definitely want to play again. One of the pleasures of fighting videogames for me is to figure out the styles of different players and then come up with strategies to overcome them.

Good Games to DRSIceman last night. I thought Scorpion, Hotaru, and Liu Kang were your best characters. Your 50/50 games with Hotaru especialy were very strong, I had very difficult time reading you. I also liked how you defended against counterattacking with his low-pokes.

You were also pretty good at countering with Liu Kang's F+2 on block.

I had to bail after 15 matches cause I was getting tired, all this strategizing takes a lot out of me. I'll try to play some more tonight. Let's get some more matches.
