Well if Hellfire is now blockable than Scorpion is gonna be bottom mid tier at best most likely. Not bad enough to be low tier, but hes going to have trouble vs the top tier character. Im sure those obsessed Scorpion fans(yes im talking to you menthol) will come up with some shit to make him playable.

He has the Sonya Kali Sticks and i think one is KickBoxing the other i don't remember. He will be a Top Tier because also of his specials.

And I seriously believe that Hellfire being blockable is horse shit.
The move is damn near impossible to connect with unless the other player is standing in one place which will hardly ever happen, or when they are getting up off the ground.
There is NO fucking way this could be blockable.

Dude Hellfire was broke as fuck in MKDA. Not only the best special in the game BY FAR, but with pi gua it made it super broken. When hell fire hits you have a GUARANTEED mix up that they cannot interrupt or do anything about, and there are TONS of situations where it's guaranteed no matter what(most of these being when u are in pi gua stance, but there were a couple with hapkido and even ninja sword). The hellfire being blockable will not make Scorpion players have to work for theirs wins. Don't worry dude he'll still be good. He's Ed Boon's favorite character afterall.

Well, I bet that Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Bo' Rai Cho will be tiers once more.
For the new characters, I bet that Dairou will be a tier, his moves look fast and he may have some good combos.
Ermac may be another Tier, though we still don't know much about his styles.
I bet that Sindel will be like Kitana from MKDA, mid tier.
And I hope to see Noob Smoke in the top tier, I hope their tag combos are cool, too.
And I my bet is on Nightwolf for top tier, just like he was in MK3.

I know what you're saying Versatile, but I know how to use that move very well in MKDA.
I have been playing with Scorpion MKDA only using Hapkido and I have a bunch of shit down to use in MKD when it comes out. (involving Hellfire)
I just don't want it being ruined in this game.
And NOBODY ever mentioned Hellfire being blockable in MKD until the user who said it in this thread.

Well if you like playing Scorpionm that much you're just gonna have to revamp your style dude. New game. New strategies. Out with the old and in with the new. Besides, Hellfire isn't totally raped. Cuz if it hits u still get that 100% efficient mix up afterwards. His telekick is probably gonna be his best move. I look forward to seeing some set ups with that.
No comments on dairus yet. We'll just have to wait and see. I'm gonna dl a vid now. Probably the Kobra one.

From the vid (Presentation) it seem to be a very strong character(double)

I think the tiers will go a little something like this:
Top Tier: Shujinko
Tier so far below top tier it shouldn't even exist: Everyone else
Noob-Smoke is looking like he could be a cheap ass though, I'd throw him somewhere in between those two.

scorpion-he can teleport now

the game looks balanced,or atleast more so then mkda..

Sub Zero's KOri Blade is now much quicker and more moves so I think he'll be top tier.

Bo Rai Cho looks like top tier. Mi Zong is replaced by Sumo.
Kabal looks sweet, but I don't think he's top tier. Close but...we'll see.

ur right about Shujinko Versatile. no way he should count..he could go from being low tier all the way to being the top fighter..it all depends on what moves and fighting styles he gets..

Fellas, although some people thought that this sytle (with Sonya Blade) was pretty cheap, I must say that it was the most deadliest in the game!! TAE KWON DO was increible and anyone that uses it will be just as deadly (although somewhat cheap) as Sonya was in MKDA.

I think that Scorpion will be knocked down to mid tier this time too unfortunately. Pi Gua is gone and Hellfire being blockable. Altho this new style may have some shit too. We will just have to see. But that teleport kick is probably gonna have great setups.
Sub-Zero is looking way better than what he did in MKDA. Ice shaker strategies with the sped up play might make him top tier this time
Kobra looks like he is gonna be sick. Fast combos and even faster specials will more than likely make him one of the top guys, we shall see.

One of the most deadliest in the entire game, yes. Kenpo is underrated IMO.
VERS, you know a whole lot more then I do about gameplay, so tell me, why is Kenpo underrated?
It was actually very very strong and fast, and I tend to use is as my first option of attack.

It's not so much Kenpo is a bad style, there are others that are worse, but there's no real point to use it. Tae Kwan Do is much faster and much safer to use which is why most people overlook it.
