A combination, we know that the list of 25 names is correct. We know that Reptile will probably be coming back. We know that the dragon King is the boss. We also even know that several MKDA characters will be hidden as non-canon characters.
However, I made certain assumptions. For example, I do not think that Skab is Havik. That would make him Darrius's friend. Darrius seems like a sort of vigalante for justice. Tell me, does the undead Skab look like a good side kick for him? If you ask me, Havik is someone else, and Onaga is Skab.
I also buy into the idea that Reptile is the sub-boss. It just makes sense. We've seen nor heard nothing confirming this so called Chimera.

Well at the time, they had three designs for Smoke. One was the current one we know of, one was the human ninja, and one was the cyborg.
They weren't sure what they wanted to do with Smoke, so they made three.
Sources when they decided to make Smoke the smoke ninja, they just palatte swapped their new cyborg smoke design and made it Sektor. However, they may have changed their idea, and completely scratched the Cyber ninja.

because our beloved evil red cyber ninja will be back in deception. i promised u my sources havnt been wrong so far. mt boon is just keeping him under wraps for now.

I think Sektor will be back. I don't care much if he is or isn't, but for the same reason Baraka, Noob and Smoke are back - popularity.
Plus, the cyborg ninja's are cool in leet 3d. Besides, someone in the mkchat said they'd be pissed off if they revealed Sektor before they had a playable copy of MKD, so I think he's underwraps or postponed to secret character status.

Murdoink - You may disagree, but I'm fairly certain we can put Kabal's, Kira's and Jade's weapon styles (hookswords, daggers, staff)
The main reason being that Jade and Kira both use their weapons in their Fatality so those are unlikely to change and because if they gave Kabal any other weapon people would never stop complaining.

I agree with you 100% that thats are comfirmed list. But I still belive that the select screen will be able to flip over and you can play as all the deadly aliance fighters and more but I don't think they'll have a story or anything new.
Also why would they spend the time to have 3d models of every chareter that has ever been in Mortal Kombat and not have them being playable the X-box & PS2 have plenty of memory to have them all.

No. Those stances were just placeholders. Notice how they both have the Scorpion icon? Sun Bin is neither of their fighting styles (at least for the time being).

If you Look in the Char selcetion screen, you will see a shaded, cyborg, they wont make a char in 3d, that they r not going to use, so, if E3 there was a cyborg, then the game will have-em....
One more thing, is the team, that creats the game, reading these posts??????

in the kollextors editions of mkd they say there is gonna be 25 bio videos so unless the 25th video is the dragonking there will be 25 charactors on the select screen since there is already 24 100 % confirmed charactors the 25th must be sektor because ed boon confirmed him on tv along with smoke and kabal he also sais that sektor will look alot different then mkda's cyrax
