I was just reading through tha new gampro, and i noticed on 1 page they had a pic of sub and right next to him was Quan Chi, who looked slightly different. I'm not sure if this is just an image from tha last game or not, but tha sub pic thats next to him is from tha new game. Also, this was not a screen shot, but a picture in tha mag.

I still think that the MKD character select screen we saw at E3 IS the character select screen and here's how it looks to me now that we've learned most of the characters.
I believe "Skab" is either Havik or Onaga. The other one will likely be one of the super-secret characters, possibly the sub-boss. And I realize Sektor is completely unconfirmed at this point, but everything else fits.

Personally, I would inverted Kobra and Lui Kang, but your list seems exact... But I've a doubt yet for Sektor...

My reasons for putting Kobra and Liu Kang where they are has to do with the shape of their heads and the tint of their hair. The one I've labelled Liu Kang has the middle parted dark hair of the MK Champion and the one I've labelled Kobra has lighter hair, judging by the greater percentage of highlights.
I've put a lot of thought into this. I've come a long way from the first version I made during E3.

You are absolutely insane if you think there's going to be over 40 playable characters in MKD. It's not going to happen.

Bezou, remember Shujinko will not be in the final character select screen, and this was confirmed by Ed Boon.

It's not Darrius, it's Noob Saibot.

My batting average has been higher than a lot of people with "sources" and I'm just using my common sense, official source info (trailers, screens, the official website) and 12 years of MK experience. If I'm wrong, I always admit it. It just hasn't happened very often.
For reference, these were my original picks, originally posted on May 13 during E3. Obviously Tanya's new hairstyle made her the one in the far bottom right corner and Jade's inclusion filled the formerly predicted Tanya spot. Skab (whatever his real name is) is the other unknown character in the far upper right. What I thought was Reptile was revealed to be Smoke, and what I thought was Noob I believe will in fact turn out to be Darrius. So, yes I stand by my picks. They haven't changed much.

What do you mean we have no confirmation on Smoke? He was confirmed in April in Game Informer, and we've even seen a screenshot of him! Plus, he was mentioned in the recent Gamepro! Why mention him if he wasn't playable?

I disagree, I'd add Smoke to the second list and add Sektor to the third. We have no reason to believe that he will be easily unlocked. Case in point, Smoke is mentioned in the source codes( or whatever the fuck those were) as one of the 24 characters, and Sektor isn't.
Sektor will be among the Konquest unlockable.

does anybody think jarek has ANY potential? I know with a new look/design anything is possible (hell Stryker could be spiced up and be wicked...), but Jarek just seems to be the ultimate filler character.

Agreed. Jarek is really just Kano with two human eyes. EVERY aspect of his character is a Kano rip off. I wouldn't be sad if I never saw him again.
