im soooo mad i just did a combo with raiden that had 57% damage but i have noooo clue how I did it. Any help with raiden combos would be greatly appreciated.

the biggest combo i've ever been able to do with Raiden (in practice mode) was:
start in 1st style:
1, 1, 2, CS, 1, 3, CS, 4, 3, U+4, CS, 1, 1, 2, CS, 1, 2
15hits/52% damage
i don't think it works online though.

well if u cant land the B+2 after 2, 2, 1 then use moi fah: 1,1,2, instead, you still get the 100%

I also got a question about Dairou.
I understand how to use his TS and Fireball right, but i don't quite see how the teleport can be helpfull.
Does it have a safe 50/50 throw, TS after or something like that?

I have a few questions about Scorpion's combos. The B+1 is in his first stance right? I can't seem to follow up on it. Is this to be used in the corner , or in the middle of the stage where you have more room. I'm also not entiely sure of the deep jump kick that is mentioned. Any help would be appretiatedsmile

What combo exactly?
If you talk about the one with spear after F+1 than the B+1 is in the second stance.

people say they cant land that? its the F+1 ( 3rd stance) thats the bitch..
just do
deep jumper, 1,1,3,B+1,cs, F+1
and ive done this on max, and thats even with the speed up computer when the F+1 comes in, the bounce off the jump kick and 1,1,2, allow u to not only get B+1, put F+1 quicker, try F+1 in the corner by itself with B+1, youll see what i mean
hard to land, i wont lie, but the B+1 is the easiest part, the bounce after 1,1,2, B+1, allows you 3 more hits in the corner, its the F+1 thats the tricky part
i dont understand how people are having a hard time with the B+1... 2,2,1 in 3rd stance i could understand, but even thats not hard at all, only hard part is sometimes getting the 3rd hit in
ahhh, i wish i could show u all this combo, i can do it with EASE.
not like u have any chance of landing it in a real fight, lol, but it works! just practice the corner shit with him and forget about the 100% for now, do this:
Mugai Ryu
4 hits
F+1, cs, cs, 1,1,3, B+1, then cs+ F+1, notice youll be able to hit him quicker
the jump kick one does 5 hits, 38%, and the one i just posted does 27%

the deep jump ALL THE WAY IN THE CORNER and without moving up or down the whole 100%
to do it, right when your about to hit the ground, press 4, and the corner wall will keep him up, do 1,1,1, and he'll be so high up i find it hard NOT to be able to land the B+1.
i will try to get this recorded, i feel bad..

the jump kick allows free motion when you connect, no delays.
just do:
Hapkido
3 hits
deep jump kick, B+1, flipkick = 31%
when else could get that flipkick?

seriously, how u gonna roll out in time after 1,1,1, B+1, in the corner for me not catch u with F+1, and just continue it
im not sayin its one big combo, im sayin u cant escape it
it doesn't always work, its pure timing, and even at that, i cant make the assumption it works cuz i never tested it on any one but the computer, and they block the F+1 apparently, i jus figured a human opponent couldn't, sorry if i was wrong, but if u cant get it in practice thats a different story, that i could show u definitly, whatever, thanks for all that love danab, lol, give a guy a break. ive tried to contribute to this board as much as possible, sorry if im amusing you
its not 1 big combo, u can just pull F+1 out faster than u normally would, figured it was fast enough to catch someone before they could block, oh well, guess i was wrong, and i m sure i couldn't do it online cuz online juggles suck.. if u want me to try, ill show u, ill make a new name so that way noones record is changed, or anyone gets a disconnect on their record, unless your one of those...
oh yea, get @ me for a real game too

VampireHunterD,use the Teleport when you know the opponent will shoot projectiles at you or if a projectile is coming at you.That way,you'll avoid them safetly.Follow up with either a fireball or the TS Drop after it.There is nothing guaranteed,so just mix it up.
Up close,do a mid move, (depends what stance you play him in) your throw or the TS Drop.But if the opponent is 100% close to you after you've done the teleport,I think you get a free throw.
Teleport is one of his most important special moves,but so is every special moves of his.Also,don't abuse teleport at wrong times since it can be blocked and then you'll get punished.

I tried doing the teleport and immediatly after a TS drop but it seems like i have to wait a few seconds before doing the TS drop. I'm not sure though, maybe i'm just too slow in doing it and i need to practice a little more.
Another thing, i always play him in his weapon stance, would you recommand using any other stances except this one?

No,you cannot do a TS Drop if the Teleport "connects".A part of being a good Dairou player is knowing when you can do a TS Drop and at what times you can buffer one,so you get it out very fast.
I personally use weapon stance while LMV uses Escrima.IMO LMV and I are the best Dairous on PS2 online smile.
I think whichever stance has the best anti-jump in moves is the better one.I believe weapon stance is the best in doing that with 1,1,f+3, 3, and b+2.Weapon stance also offers you more damage after juggles and TS Drop.So,yeah,I'd use weapon stance,but you might want to experiment with both.

I tried both and i prefer weapon stance mainly because of the 1,1,f+3...
Its a great move, first of all because it has an high,mid,mid attacks but also because of the 33% damage after TS drop (or 38%).
Anyway i'll try practicing more on when exactly can i do a TS drop so i'll get better.
Thanks a lot for the help with him, i feel sorry that i don't have a PS internet connection yet and i'm not sure if i want to buy it since MK:D is the only online game i have and it is so broken...
If i will buy it though i would be honored to play against you smile

Finally, I got around to recording some random matches online.

Much more to come...Danadbab and I played well over 100 matches the other night (filled up a 6 hour VHS tape), and I'm wading through the matches, picking out some good ones.
This section will be dubbed "Randomania!", as our entire set of matches were done with random select.
