The scary thing is the only seen pic of Smoke almost kinda looks like a cross between Noob Saibot and Smoke.

Wow! That's very unexpected. So they're going to be one and the same sort of? I'd prefer them seperate! They NEED to be sepaerate or I'll be pissed! It's going to fun listening to how they explain this one story wise though! They should've used new characters for something like this!

All Boon is saying is that Noob and Smoke play in a similar way. This could explain why they look similar, and the BoS symbol, Smoke could be a member of the BoS, and he was trained in a similar way to Noob. And now he is being sent to assasinate Sub-Zero, and he is using deception to act like he is allied with Sub, hence the fact that he is listed as an ally.

That is an EXCELLENT idea man. And it would fit in perfect with the overal theme in the storyline: DECEPTION.

I don't want to comment on speculation or anything, but here's my bit on it. They say both characters are a culmination of two.

I'm guessing it's something along the lines of how Smoke is like Scorpion.

Therefore Smoke being a culmination of two fighters will be something along the lines of Smoke's fighting style incorporating Cyborg Smoke and Scorpion's style.

Deception Smoke = Cyborg/Original + Scorpion

Hence interesting juggles.

Not sure what they mean about Noob though. Maybe they gave him some of Rain's moves or something.

Wow great find. I think it means that noob and smoke might have a relation or be related somewhere. Or come from the sameplace or orgin. Maybe that was a brother of shadow symbol on his boot. It might of been a mistake when they did it or that angle's a bad angle.

I had a theory that Jade and Tanya are basically the same fighter aswell , almost like alternate costumes that become different fighters. If anyone plays tekken you know what I mean , Like the Kangaroo and the lizard, Angel and Devil, Panda and Bear. So maybe its the same with Noob and Smoke.

He still says They and Their so I imagine there are 2 playable characters. Maybe there is something going on with them story wise that puts them together but as far as the game goes I'm sure they will be seperate. Kinda like playing robot smoke and human smoke in UMK3... I guess?

yeah i read that line.. but to me it just more confirms of smoke and noob being in the game... but.. noob and smoke fused kinda.. mabe he means they a friends, and they need each other to servive.. but that is going out on a limb... could be that noob saved smoke... eh...

Wow great find man! Not to be all snobby though, but usually a review implies that the game is rated somehow. Is it rated versus other fighting games? Otherwise it just seems like a hands on preview to me. But anyways, I don't mean to get all technical and what not.

If they fused the two characters together, I think that'd be cool! Sure, I was kinda hoping that Smoke would have his own moves (not a combination of other characters moves) but I still kinda dig the idea of Noob changing to smoke during mid-combo if that's what you can do. Honestly though, doesn't Smoke have Noob's boots? I think they look a bit too similar for coincidence. I think it'd be sweet; you pick noob, then you switch to smoke and all of a sudden noob becomes transparent and misty and what not. Very dope.

Well Smoke regained his soul right? Well I think it would be WAY better for the story to have Smoke use his Lin Kuei powers, to transform his soul into smoke, then go and enter the body of Noob Saibot. So Noob will now have his soul, as well as that of the Smoke living inside of him. Smoke's probably gonig to become a parasite character now (hopefully).

I think having Noob Saibot and Smoke seperate is a big waste of a character slot. Having the two fused like this is a great idea. Maybe Smoke might learn something from Noob Saibot's soul. Something about Sub-Zero's origin, which allows Smoke to become evil?
