Who cares about Ninja Smoke,WHAT ABOUT HORNBUCKLE?!

OKay.... Smoke has ALWAYS been my favorite character... some of you might not understand that and say WHY? HES JUST A RIPOFF OF SCORPION! but I dont care.. and neither do other Smoke fans! We saw what we wanted in MK2 and we havnt not been able to get what we want since then! People wanted baraka back, they got him! People wanted Noob and they got him! People wanted Goro to come back after he died and they got him! GOROS DIED TWICE BY THE WAY!

My point is, Most smoke fans want human ninja smoke in the game! The people who say it wouldnt make sense or argue against it are the people who are indifferent to Smoke in the first place! It probably wouldnt matter to you either way if smoke appeared in his cyber or human form, so I dont get why you come on to these posts that SMOKE FANS make, only to argue against it!

If you dont care about smoke thats wonderful! But Smoke is a Cult Classic Character that ALOT of people have wanted a certain way and they have never gotten it. THATS why we make mosts like this, to talk about a character we like. All it would take for Us Smoke Fans to get what we want is for Boon to decide, like he did with other fans wishes, is to grant it. "Hey, for the next game, lets include in the story a way for Smoke ot Obtain his true human form again" Its as simple as that. And if you say that wouldnt make sense, look at the past characters and storylines, theres a million story line discrepincies. The fact that they included Mokap as a serious character with a serious storyline tells me that ANYTHING is possible in MK.

Incorrect. Goro has never died. He was simply defeated in MK1 and returned to Outworld later, only to resurface later. He nearly died at the hands of Noob Saibot, but Shao Kahn healed Goro.



Um, let's see. In terms of the story, it would not make sense for his human form to be in Armageddon. If you want to play as Human Smoke, either create him in the Kreate-A-Fighter or just play either UMK3 or MKT, that's all.



I don't know if he's a cult classic character, but he does have his mild fanbase. I kind of like him, and part of me does want to see him explored a bit, but then again, maybe he's better off not returning. You are right about it not being impossible for him to return to being human and returning in the next game, but for Armageddon, it doesn't make sense to have him with his human form.

Yeah sorry, i wasnt really talking about Armageddon, just writing in responce to peoples ideas in this thread. Its true for Armageddon Smokes Story line wasnt set up for him to be human, but that doesnt mean Armageddons story line cant lead to him becoming human again. Theres a chance in the next game. We dont know what happened to Smoke when the "Taven Filtered power" went through him.

Basically all i was saying is that Many people would love to see their Iconic Ninja Smoke in a game. It would make Smoke Fans happy, and the people who are indifferent to Smoke could stay...well... indifferent.

Listen to me people, I don't care how impossible it is to have human smoke in MKA, as MKA is a barely canon game. Cyborg smokes primary costume is not human smoke. Human smoke is an entirely different character from cyborg smoke, he has different moves, and he does not consist of machinery, or smoke for that matter. Human smoke is of flesh and blood. Neither of cyborg smokes costumes are human. Neither of cyborg smokes costumes are human smoke, human smoke is not in MKA, he should be. And lets not bring Zebron or Hornbuckle into this. one of them has only ever appeared in the background and has never been playable or a fightable opponent, and the other does not exist outside of the minds of a few deluded MK Fans who wish to see MK filled with joke characters. There is no reason for human smoke not to be in MKA. look at it in this way, Why is chameleon mre deserving of being a character than smoke, chameleon has no story and only appeared in one game. Human smoke has a story and appeared in four games. It is not fair on young smoke.

Human Smoke is gone as he had long been turned into a cyborg, hence why he isn't in MKA, which like I said, is canon.

Having cyber Smoke and human Smoke would not make much sense, since they are the exact same character. Human Smoke was captured by the Lin Kuei and turned into cyber Smoke. That is his set story.

However I wouldnt have any objections if the human Smoke were to be included as a non canon alt costume. Afterall they did the same thing with Reptile, both of his forms cant be canon in MKA.

But I prefer the cyber Smoke anyways, to me Smoke is Mortal Kombat's resident tragic character. He started out as a human warrior, more or less on the side for good. Then he had his humanity stripped away and used and abused by evil people to make him do their will.
