I really don't think that's right. Just because they get theirs later than X Box and Playstation 2. They should've gave everybody bosses. It would've been a little bit less disappointing if everybody got a chance to pick some bad ass boss but each system got different ones.
Like
Playstation 2= Gets Kintaro and Shinnok
X Box= Gets Motaro and MK 2 Shang Tsung
Game Cube= Gets Goro and Shao Kahn
Now that would've been fun, fair, and less disapointing

okay, this ROCKS and everything, but why Goro and Kahn? aren't they dead? Shao Kahn has the possibility of returning because of Havik's ending, but Goro was stuffed in a box and dipped in lava. not even Johnny could come back from that one.

People complaining about GameCube getting extra characters, I have something to say...
Firstly, ever since the GCN version of Deception was announced, extras were also mentioned. Characters count as extras. Why did you wait to bitch about the whole ordeal until WHO was announced as an addition character (or, in this case, characters).
Secondly (and lastly), PS2 and XBox tend to get bonus features from GameCube games. This rarely happens the other way around. For example, I think Viewtiful Joe for the PS2 has an additional playable character than the GCN version that was released half a year sooner. Sonic Mega Collection Plus for the PS2 and XBox has Game Gear games in it, whereas the GCN Sonic Mega Collection does not. (Though the Game Gear games were hidden in Sonic Adventure DX). A majority of the times, PS2 and XBox gamers get the extras from games. How often will a Game Cube owner threaten to kill someone when it happens? Very rarely. HoodedGansta, if Sektor is in the GCN version, than go grab $150 and buy the console and game yourself. Even threatening to "start killing people" can be taken wrong. Abyway, I'm glad the Gamecube version has extras. I havent played Deception yet because of it. I will in February.
Besides, PS2 and XBox owners, you get access to the Kollector's Edition. GameCube owners, like myself, will likely not.

Trust me, most of them have been bitching about it since the rumored extra's started, the rest waited until now cuz they just didn't want to believe it.

That's all very true. Too bad people around here are too selfish to think of it that way.

Boy some of you are taking this too seriously, I mean I don't own either of the three systems, my sister is the one with the X-Box, and I didn't buy MKD for it because I know I wasn't satified with it when I rented it, the key reason is that they took out the characters I care about(Mainly Sonya & Kitana) and replace then with New characters like Kobra, Darrius, etc. that I can give a rat ass about and also the recovery and blocking time too damn slow, so that was a wise decision for me not to buy it, now I hear that the Gamecube are getting Shao Kahn and Goro, good for the Gamecube, Its not hurting me none because I don't own either a PS2, X-Box, or Gamecube and I didn't buy MKD, but if the Gamecube was to also get more extra characters like Sonya & Kitana with the addition of Kahn & Goro, then I would go out and buy the Gamecube & MKD for it.

Well, I'm glad we get more storylines for the game. Makes my anticipation for MK7 that much bigger.
I've always been more interested in the story than the actual game, though. So, I could care less about who gets more stuff, and I'm a PS2 owner.

So true. This is new to them (ps2 and xbox users)... they don't know what its like to get screwed over themselves. So... I guess I'll take my moment right now and laugh at all those who are complaining....,. ahahahahahaha... I have a Cube and You don't.
But seriously... companies do this all the time. Resident Evil 4... coming for cube next month, right? Its also coming out for ps2 in late '05. The PS2 version will have extras.... am I complaining? Not at all... because I ACTUALLY understand that companies add extras to games later released for other systems.

Sareena, Drahmin, Moloch, Nitara, Rain, Ghost Kang, Reiko, Kai, Fujin, Kintaro, Motaro, Sektor, Mokap, hell even Stryker would make more sense than Kahn and Goro. I can't wait to read their bios to see what kind of an excuse they could cook up to bring them back

No, I just see alot of crying over the Gamecube getting extras, It was going to happen anyway(because it was said it was going to happen), and It's not the first MK game for this to happen, take UMK3 for example, the Saturn version was the pretty much the Arcade version of the home games with Ermac, Mileena, and Sub-Zero(Classic), Human Smoke hidden but playable, Noob Saibot, Motaro, Kahn being unplayable, but the Genesis and Snes versions on the other hand got the three hidden characters from the Arcade & Saturn playable off the bat, Human Smoke, and Unplayables Rain & Noob Saibot(but they don't have any finishing moves, only brutality) and the option to play as Shao Kahn or Motaro,(in two player mode, but if you know what you are doing you play as them in one player mode) so what I'm saying this won't be the first or last time a thing like this will happen.

Just like people who didn't bother getting PS2, GC, or Xbox would have to get one of those to play Deadly Alliance or Deception? Wow, having to buy a new system to play games... omg that's so unusual, I think its the most unusual thing ever!!! god I hate EVERYONE for making advancments in technology!!! GRRRR!!! [/sarcasm]
Buying a new video game system to play new video games is inevitable, why bitch about it now, people have been doing it since Atari...

OOOHHH Yeah!!! Even if it doesn't come out in Europe, I'll still get it. All I need is the import along with a freeloader disc and I'm all set. And I can get both from a shop just 10 mins away from where I live. I'll just save about £60 crimbo money for it all.Excellent.

Second? More like fourth. And I've been meaning to ask you, what ever happened to your sources that said Sektor was in the game as playable? Kids...........I hate 'em.
Anyways, this news quite frankly blows. It's nice that Midway intends to help out the Gamecube version a bit, but it's still bullshit. If you're going to make a game, make it the EXACT SAME for all systems.
And oh yeah, the Gamecube controller sucks. The door has been shut on that discussion.
