I can't find a pic of Goro and I've searched everywhere. Does he look badass or is it nothing special? Cuz Khan looks badass.

too bad..I like shao kahn..but i never liked goro...im disappointed that its not shao kahn and kitana...I thought it might be her since she has a new cool storyline....and besides that, I dont consider them as SU's, since they are only for gamecube

i think and i hope its true, that shao khan and goro are in the ps2 and xbox as well but su , and they added on gc just like that to tell us that they are hard to get in this 2 version of deception or buy gc version to have them easy ,then someone will discover the secret (if there is one about su) and they will come out, but till then dissapoitment.........

Let me get this straight. Shao Kahn could possibly be the coolest character in Mortal Kombat: Deception and I have to miss out because the Game Cube doesn't have online play?

Someone said earlier that GC sucks bc it doesnt have online play and a DVD player. Well to that guy who cares about online play and a DVD player. The GC doesn't need to have a DVD player to help it sell, because it's solely about the games alone. I hope you actually don't use the PS2 to watch DVDs either, not all the time at least.

But IMO Kahn and Goro are great, but not what I expected. Especially Goro, not trying to diss on him but I've already played as him in MK4, I'd rather play as Kintaro or hell even Motaro. I wish Boon could have added some more fan favorites that have flooded the board before MKD came out. Rain, Sektor, Reptile, Kitana, Kung Lao. Where are they at? Hopefully Kahn and Goro aren't the only two but we'll soon findout.

What about Kintaro? Could they have messed up and theought Kintaro was Goro? I don't care for Goro either.

I can't believe people are dissapointed. I was expecting one new character, not two, so I'm pumped. I wonder how they will play in the storyline, and will this change Havik's ending? What will their endings be? Or will they just be in the game with no effect on storylines??

I totally disagree. GC's controller is way better. Dodging and sidestepping is quicker and the it doesn't stick like the PS2 controller. I don't have X-Box but I have played it and I think it sux the most with the button configuration.

If you don't like it, don't cry like the little babies you are. Life isn't fair, maybe its time you realize that. And if you hate Boon so much and always acuse him of screwing the fans, why would you support this game or the company that releases it. Sounds like you people need a lesson in principles and reality. In reality, you don't always get what you want and life isn't fair. Well, I like Shao Kahn and Goro, but I doubt really that I will sell my PS2 version of the game for a GC version just for these two characters... I would prefer just a bit more characters like Cage, Sonya, Kung Lao, Nitara, the DA... :/

I have a question. If Game Cube sucks, which system is the best? So that way I can go buy the best system on the market....

This is music to my ears. So many people didn't want to believe the Cube owners were getting more characters, but me and the rest never lost hope! I can't wait to get my hands on it, I haven't even played MKD yet, becasue I've been waiting for the cube edition. (And lets not turn this thread into a cube basher, I'm sure some of you are pissed, get over it) I'm still curious if Shao Kahn and Goro are the only extras we'll see. I wouldn't be surprised if they through in a secret character. I'm dying to see the Goro render.

What's with all these babies who can't handle or understand basic concepts?

GC owners are lucky to even be getting the game at all, for the longest time (just about up until release) we were told we wouldn't get it. Then Boon says his team will cook us up some nice features to compensate for lack of online play (their chief marketing tool and grandest feature). Extra characters was always a huge possibility, what else would they give us? A few arenas? The joke "Checkers Kombat"? This has been a long time coming, get over it.

For those with Xbox/PS2 and no online play, that's your problem, not Midway's. If you can't afford broadband or Live subscription fees, would you REALLY want an extra 6 month wait just to get Shao Kahn and Goro? Hell, last time I checked Live for a year was about the same price as a new game, not much at all.

For people trying to either soften the blow of not being able to play as these characters or paint a picture of doom for Nintendo because of this one move by Midway... Yes, these are boss characters. You say they'll only have one style and no fatalities? How about you do your research before displaying your idiocy? Boon clearly said they have their own fatalities in this game. He said they would be balanced characters. I can only assume that they will both have two hand-to-hand styles, though Goro may have no weapon (ala MK4). One style only would have them considered cheap if only becaue the player is FORCED to use the same moves all the time.
