Shujinko: Cool looks, cheap gameplay, crap story; overall, he should either die or retire

Ashrah: Interesting look, unique story within the MK universe, has potential; I hope to see her survive and be in the next-gen MKs

Dairou: cool look, not much of a story, but has potential, imo; I hope to at least see him live. If he makes it into the next-gen MK games with a better story, awesome.

Kira: kind of like her but feel indifferent to her overall; I do think she sort of has potential and I wouldn't mind seeing her in the next-gen MK games given that she has a good story and all.

Kobra: I don't care for him, and I hope he dies.

Havik: awesome character who I hope to see in the future games

Hotaru: sort of an interesting character who sort of has potential for next-gen MK, but overall, I think he's alright

Darrius: same as Hotaru

Onaga: He'll undoubtedly die.

Shujinko: He tasted like a character of only one game. He's story would have finished in MKD, if they didn't have decided to bring almost everybody again. So, He will probably die or retire.

Ashrah: I think I said almost everything in her day. So, in a nutshell: she should earn her assention and return in the next generation. No question.

Dairou: He has potential. I'd like to see him returning.

Kira: If she stays in Black Dragon: die. If she joins the Red Dragon: return.

Kobra: Die.

Havik: If he is going to be only a troublemaker: die. If he portrays another role: return.

Hotaru: Same as Dairou.

Darrius: Worthless so far.

Onaga: No bosses should survive.

Shujinko: Although Ed Boon described him as Net-gen Lui Kang in his bio card, I don't think that should happen. Leave that role to Kai, or Kung Lao, or whatever new hero we have next gen. IMO Shujinko should be finshed here and not dragged on into the next gen.

Ashrah: Kind of a cool character and I like the concept of an Evil person purifying themselves. But as I've said before, I'm neutral about her. If she lives great. If she dies Great.

Kira: Love her. She should deffinately return next gen. She has alot of potential. Just give her original moves and a more detailed story, and she's perfect for next gen considering she's still fresh.

Kobra: I hope he fall into the spike pit. I would like it if Sonya or Kira just made sport with him then kill him on the spot.

Order Realm Bitches (Hotaru, Darrius, and Dairou) I'm grouping them up because I feel the same way about all of them. All they need is advancements in their plots and they'll be fine with me to move on to next gen. Well, Hotaru can die. After what he did ti Li-Mei in the opening video, He can burn in hell...

Havik: Bring him back. I like him.

Onaga: Dead.

Shujinko- He has cool looks, but a pretty bad story and moves, he should die.

Kobra- He should get killed by Kira. If not... Ken Masters should come and kill him for stealing his looks.

Kira- I see potential in her. I think she should be the last survivor of the Black Dragon clan.

Ashrah- I do like her, but I have a feeling she won't make it. She will probably die fighting Frost and hands the Kriss Blade to Sareena.

Hotaru- Hotaru is an okay character. He could go any way- whether surviving or to die.

Dairou- I don't really care for him.

Darrius- the same goes to Dairou.

Havik- My favorite newcomer of MKD. He should come back.

Onaga- He will die.

Shujinko - He needs to die. Not because I hate him,but because he fucked up so badly that no amount of repentance is going to cover that. With Raiden going after his ass,he doesn't have much of a chance. Besides,spending his entire life in pursuit of honor and fame to find out that he's been deceived all this time - after all of that,a death on a nameless battlefield will actually be a really nice and tragic ending for him.

Kobra - He's too insignificant to make it past Armageddon. Death.

Kira - I used to hate her with a burning passion for being such a cheap ripoff whore,but now I admit that she might have some potential as a future Red Dragon member. However,I say that with all the enemies they have to deal with right now,there's no way Red Dragon is going to make it past Armageddon,meaning that Kira's future doesn't look too good. At all.

Ashrah - The second best character in Deception. The sole fact that she's a very dualistic character (not necessarily good and not necessarily evil)makes her very unique compared to the rest or the MK cast. Loads of untapped potential here. Again,she probably won't make it past the Armageddon as a standalone character,but if her storyline gets intertwined with,say,Sareena's,or Quan Chi's,or even Raiden (the new Champion of the Elder Gods,lol),then she has a good chance of surviving. I,for one,definitely want to see more of her.

Havik - the one and only,Mischief Maker Extraordinare. *copy-pastes* The single best thing to come out of Deception. Everything about him was pure genius on so many levels. His design was truly a breath of fresh air,his special moves were batshit insane,his weapon rocked,and his quotes in Konquest give him more personality than half of the MKA roster put together. "May Chaos break the rules that bind..." Considering that he started out as Noob's alternate costume,I'd say that's one hell of an achievement. Hell,even his alignment was unique. Even Scorpion,who was the token Chaotic Neutral character,has nothing on this guy. How about a Chaotic^2? At first sight,he may look like a minor,insignificant placeholder,but he's actually one of the key figures in the storyline of Deception. As far as the ability to catalyse the story,he's up there with Quan Chi. And the way things look,I reckon he might also be one of the key figures in Armageddon as well. I'll even go far as saying that he might be behind the resurrection of all of the fallen kombatants. He has limitless potential,and if the future installments require the presence of a character who represents the opposing realms (i.e. Chaosrealm and Seido),Havik should be that character.

Now,as far of the "Orderrealm bitches" are concerned,at least one of them will definitely have to die in order for the Seido fragment of the storyline to come to any sort of resolution. Well,Dairou's a loose cannon who is not directly involved in all of this shit anymore,so it's a toss between Darrius and Hotaru. It would be a textbook happy end to let the denizens of Seido overthrow that communist government of theirs and build their own utopia,but without that goverment,Orderrealm wouldn't really be Orderrealm,would it now? So I say either Darrius's rebellion gets squashed by the Guardsmen,or he overthrows the Seido government (killing Hotaru in the process) and installs his own regime,which after a while,turns into Darrius' own brand of tyranny (lol,irony).

As for Dairou,he needs to confront Darrius and kick his ass for assassinating Dairou's family. After that,he needs to find new motivation,or he's going to lose all the storyline potential he might have had,elevating his chances to become a fucking dead man by a whole lot.

Onaga - Death.

Ashrah - My favorite new character from MKD. Mysterious and deadly, she'll stop at nothing to get out of the Netherealm. That's what I like about her - determination. I'd hate to see such a good character be killed off this game, because Ashrah could play a major role in the future. I first though she could play a good role in Sub-Zero's story, but with the return of Shinnok and Reiko (a suspected Brotherhood of the Shadows member), she could tie in with their storylines better. Her and Reiko could have a past, and it would be cool to know more about this secretive organization. Many want Reiko to return as the next ruler of Outworld. I say screw that. Let Ashrah get some revenge on the Brotherhood for making her life so worthless. When she slays Reiko, she'll ascend from the Netherealm and continue to MK8.

Dairou - His story is quite tragic. His entire family killed, and for his anger he gets a spot on Seido's hitlist. I really like the idea of a mercenary in MK. Usually a character is on one side or the other, but Dairou's a freelancer. Like Scorpion when he was first awesome in MK. I'd like to see him take revenge on Darrius for causing him his grief. Maybe he could even restore Seido back to its normal order and be accepted back into the realm once again. Who knows? But I'd definitely like to see him make a return in future MKs.

Darrius - My least favorite character next to Kobra. The only thing which makes him better is his gameplay. A very good tier if you ask me. Other than that, his story is pretty standard. Although I have to like the whole Chaos vs. Order thing. Unfortunately, it would be better if incorporated into an earlier game. Darrius should at least take out Hotaru to make the whole disorder scheme worthwhile, and make him accomplish something before he is killed of by Dairou.

Havik - Another great newcomer. Just his appearance makes him likeable, not to mention the moves. He is probably the most innovative character MK has seen. The only thing which fails his is story. Again, the Chaos chrushes Order thing is okay, but it should've including something more than "destroy order!" Afterall, his style is unpredictable, so make his story that way as well. The ressurection idea was cool, but now that Kahn is back for good, I can't see that sticking. He's gotta go out with a bang, something big. But after that, I can see him either getting betrayed by someone, or being killed by Hotaru.

Kira - Although she's got something going, she's pretty much a Kano/Sonya ripoff. Her look is what I like most about Kira. She's tough and knows what she's going. That's why I can see her betraying Kabal and helping Kano out. I'm sure he wants power of the BD back, and he's gotta get rid of Kabal to do that. Kira seems like she'd be able to lead him on. But she most likely won't make it to next-gen, either getting killed by a RD member or OIA member.

Kobra - What need I say about him? Kill him off soon as possible. Stryker could have a connection to him. Stryker is cop who works the streets, and Kobra's a street thug. Let's just hope Stryker's improved enough to actually kill someone.

Onaga - Not many more options for him besides die. Shujinko should kill him in one last blaze of glory before his sorry ass is killed off too.

Well, I don't feel like writing anymore, so maybe later, if I have time, will finish the rest.

Shujinko- He is okay but his story sucks and he always got fooled.

Kobra- He should get a haircut or die because he kind of looks like ken but to me his moves are original but his story is boring.

Kira- Even she ripped off sonya's and kano's moves i like her because she had a generally original look but she should have her own moves.

Ashrah- She has good and interesting story and her moves rock!!!!!!

Hotaru- Hotaru is one of my favorites and his story about bringing order sucks to me but i like him for his gameplay.

Dairou- The worst deception character he should die because he is really really really really dull!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Darrius- He is a rebel and that is the best part of him and his moves too!!

Havik- He is the best deception character though not my favorite and he has great potential.

Onaga- He was a good boss.

All discussions are now complete. We cut it close, but we made it. All the characters prior to MK:A's release have now been discussed. Some characters have had good ones, while others average and some downright horrible. But that didn't matter, we met our goal. (So close to MK:A's release, but we still made it)

We couldn't discuss Taven and Daegon since they're first game is MK:A so it wouldn't really be fair, but we'll soon find out for ourselves if their stories are good or bad.

Ashrah: she will confront ermac and tell him that he is a demon and she must slay him in order to cleanse her soul and rise from the netherrealm ermac informs her that he is not a demon and she is wasting her time but ashrah refuses to beleive it because she has spent so long trying to hunt ermac down she leaps at ermac and he catches her with his telekinesis and tells her that he is not a demon and that there is another demon that she can slay to regain her mortality Noob Saibot ermac knocks here out and she wakes up later and begins her quest to slay noob saibot she finds him and just as she is about to spring her attack smoke appears behind her and breaks her neck

Dairou: he sneaks into the monarchial office of the realm of seido and steals the charter of laws from the kinf of seido and hurries off to give it to darrius and recieve his pay but along the way he is attacked by hotaru they begin fighting they stop and dairou ask's hotaru why he follows the kings orders so blindly and hotaru says because it's the law and the law cannot be broken dairou asks him but what if the laws are unjust or corrupt and hotaru just looks shocked and refuses to beleive dairou he attacks with his naginata and plunges it into dairou's heart and as he dies dairou will say why brother...

Kobra: he will be in the black dragon's headquarters when the red dragon attack and he will square off against jarek he will defeat jarek by stunning him with a fireball and lopping off his head with his machete afterwards he will fight Hsu Hao who puts up a suprising fight but then kobra forces his hand into hsu hao's chest and rips out his bionic heart which then sets of a self destruct sequence inside Hsu Hao's bionics causing an explosion to kill everyone in the black dragons headquarters

Darrius: once he gets word from dairou that he has stolen the charter darrius rushes off to there pre-ordained meeting place but when he arrives dairou is not there darrius just assumes that he was held up but then darrius hears something and he stands up to see who's there expecting dairou he lets his gaurd down and all of a sudden hotaru's naginata flies straight through his chest and hotaru walks out of the bushes and tells darrius that his revolution is over and he has lost and that dairou is dead hotaru grabs darrius by the face and says that if any of his followers get the idea to continue the revolution they will meet the same end as him then he makes darrius's head explode and walks away

Shujinko: in the chaos of the final battle shujinko will be confronted by many warriors by using his training he manages to defeat many of them but once he is confronted by the dragon king he just can't seem to keep up and that is because the dragon king was the one that trained and watched over him during his lifelong quest the dragon king grabs him and flies up high into the sky and breathes fire all over him and drops him back to earth shujinko dies on impact

Hotaru: after he has killed dairou and darrius hotaru heads back to seido's capital to return the charter on his way he is confronted by havik who begins preaching the teachings of chaos to hotaru, he begins te show a weakness and havik exploits it and attacks he gets in quickly and snaps hotaru's neck steals the charter and destroy's it then he sets his sights on seido's capital building he wages an attack on the office he is killed by the seidan gaurds

Kira: she is there during the attack on the black dragon first she squares off against hsu hao first but she is not ready to fight like kabal and kobra she fights viciously but hsu hao gets the better of her by firing his chest lase right threw her

Onaga: after killing shujinko he re-enters the fight he see's his chance for vengeance against shao kahns betrayal he swoops in and picks up shao kahn and and caries him off to his temple where he takes shao kahns helmet and eat his head and throws him into some lava but as he returns to the fight he is attacked by reiko who is now trying to take over the netherrealm and begin his own conquest over the realms the fight is intense but in the end reiko plunges his sword through the dragon king's chest and takes outworld as his own

Monster: after realizing that he was tricked by the elder-demon baphomet monster wants revenge so he desperatly tries to escape his capture in limbo by summoning as much necro-energy as he can and using it as a propellent to return him to the nexus now with the portals opened thanks to the fool shujinko monster re-enters the netherrealm and plots his attack on the elder-demons

and just for fun my predictions for taven and daegon:

taven: he'll confront blaze and mortally wound him allowing ermac to destroy him by releasing all of ermacs power

daegon: he'll confront taven in order to see who will challenge blaze and he will lose

monster is scorpion from the future, the elder gods send him back in time to undo the events that lead up to armageddon.

seeing as future scorpion would be the elder gods champion for a while, its obvious his look would have changed.

I really don't like Tanya anymore after playing Deception. I liked her in MK4 but they ruined her story and look in Deception. I hope she gets whats coming to her and meets a grisly end, either at the hands of Jade or Lui Kang.
