I now in other threads i said to not pick on the bad guys but this ones okay because shang tsung is stupid, almost as stupid as liu kang but that's not the point liu kang shouldn't kill shang tsung kenshi should and I know I also said I don't like alot of good guys but kenshi is one of the few good guys I like so I would like him to slay shang tsung.that would be a good day in my book.smilesmile
Sub-zero has had a very good storyline and as another one of my favorites and another person who is good guy that I like I think that if he didn't go into next-gen games alot of people including me would be crushed.sad
baraka is a great bad guy and I am glad that you guys have finnaly decided to stop picking on the bad guys.grin
I haven't really heard much about kintaro and when i did hear about him I figured realitive of mataro but when him I was wtf but I liked him and I think he should be in a few more games.smile
I wnt to see smoke in a lot more games because he has potential.tongue
I think all three of them should survive, just because there all great and for some reason I always thought they were evil but even though theyr'e not I still like them.sadsmile
We weren't discussing any of those characters. Stop flooding this topic with your useless crap.

I can see a Frost/ Sub Zero conflict, but Frost would die. Everyone knows that the teacher doesn't teach the student all of their tricks. Frost tries to get vengeance and fails, mabye leaving a door of opportunity for Noob Saibot.

Nitara... too cool to kill off!! She has the potential to be the first female boss or sub-boss. also since her realm is now no longer part of outworld. it leaves an all new realm to explor in future konquest modes. Besides whats more satisfiying than sinking you teeth into your enemy.

Frost: I love Frost. Probably one of the best this-gen (PS2/X-Box/Gamecube) characters out there, and really plays well off Sub-Zero. Didn't like her MK:DA ending, though. What I think will happen is she challenges Sub-Zero to mortal kombat, beats him and takes the Dragon Medallion, this time able to withstand the Medallion's powers. Frost then assumes headship over the Lin Kuei and Sub-Zero. Sub-Zero retires into a quiet existance.

Nitara: Nitara is...curious. I don't think we can get a good read on her since we know so little about her. She doesn't seem to have any sort of backstory or anything. Hopefully we'll get some more info about her and then we'll be able to pass judgement. (I saw a spoiler on Wikipedia regarding her ending in MKA, but I won't say anything.)
Okay new characters.

Moloch and Drahmin

Drahmin was once a warlord, a vicious and cruel tyrant. When he died, he was sentenced to the Netherrealm for his sins. Moloch, well we don't know about his past. They spent many years in the Netherrealm together, torturing other tormented souls. One day they came across Quan Chi, who asked for protection from the ninja spectre, Scorpion, in exchange, Quan Chi would release them from damnation. Both agreed and they fought Scorpion off.

Drahmin led Quan Chi to a runestone that look similar to Quan Chi's amulet, but Scorpion attacked yet again. Quan Chi decided then to leave without them. In this moment, Scorpion slipped away and chased after Quan Chi. Furious, they had been left behind, the two Oni also leapt through the portal landing in Outworld. They vowed to make Quan Chi pay.

They fed on several poor, unfortunate mortals, it is said that they encountered Li Mei and Cyrax, who both escaped their wrath. Shang Tsung approached them, and hearing of their hatred for Quan Chi, decided to use them in case Quan Chi attempted to double cross him. They were kept in Shang Tsung's palace, waiting to be let loose.

When Scorpion entered, the two Oni ironically protected Quan Chi by defeating him and while they couldn't consume him, they decided to throw him into the soulnado to eliminate him. It is not known what happened to Moloch and Drahmin after that.

I decided to do both of them together because they pretty much have the same exact storyline. Anyway, I'm indifferent and while they may return in the Next-gen. (Or at least Drahmin, but not Moloch) I doubt we'll see them back.

I sort of like Drahmin. He's kind of an interesting character, and I like to see his origins delved into some more. Other than that, he stinks....LITERALLY! tongue

As for Moloch, I don't really care about him. He was an annoying sub-boss in MKDA that had very little story to him.

Overall, Drahmin is kind of ok while I don't like Moloch. I think Drahmin has potential for the next-gen MK games. Moloch, on the other hand, doesn't.

i think drahmin kicks ass... his an iteresting character and i like his design. as for moloch... i kinda don't give a shit.
i think that they'll both die after armageddon. you guys are mentioning a lot of characters surviving armageddon. onl to make it clear i think that the only ones to survive will be a couple of good guys mybe some bad guys but the only ones that'll appear in the next generation will probably be fujin and ermac.
to put it short i doubt we'll be seeing either moloch or drahmin after armageddon.
hmmm... as for their endings... i somehow see them tied to scorpion and quan chi of course, and even shinnok and blaze. who knows if shinnok survives and becomes ruler of the netherrealm maybe they'll be appointed as his personal guardians or bodyguards or somethingconfused

I could careless about neither one of these two characters. They have absolutely nothing going on for them IMO. They're just flunkies and nothing more.

Ugh. Since Scorpion will probably be completely focused on Quan Chi...

*sigh* Drahmin and Moloch might survive into MK8. I sure hope not. Drahmin sucked gameplay-wise, and Moloch was the king of cheap.

Anyway, If they use the angle of Drahmin's former self, then maybe he has potential. Otherwise, kill them both off, please.

Also, to that spammer kid: You must have set some kind of record... 7 consecutive posts that got skulls.

I can see your point, but they are also the few oni's in the game.

I would like for them to be fleshed out more.

I remember seeing in the stragey guide that moloch's ball and drahmins mask had some importants in their story.

It would be really cool to see why when drahmin died he became a demon instead of a wrath like noob saibot.

Moloch i thought was awesome looking, but i got disappointed to see he was easy to defeat.

Perhaps also seeing the neitherealm isn't too keen on the oni's cabilty over the dead, it would be interesting for a infighting or civil war and these two were important.

I dont want Drahmin to survive.Maybe Moloch but Moloch looked a bit daft. and Drahmin's moves are silly. (like that ball o flies - were the designers drunk?) anyway. i reckon only about 10 characters or so will make it into next gen and they'll probably be joined by loads of new ones. so we've got to think carefully about who we want in. Drahmin and Moloch dont really have much of a storyline although i reckon they could kill them off in loads of interesting ways. MK are good at killing people off !

-Moloch should die in battle against Ashrah and therefore earning her acsention from the Netherealm.

-After the deaths of Noob Saibot and Shinnok who will Rule the Netherealm? Drahmin should become the next ruler of the Netherealm and rule it with an Iron fist. Perhaps a change in appearence as well? Drahmin has some untapped potentail but sadly it won't get a chance to be used.
Well guys... sorry for not coming on last night, but here's the rest of the DA Characters.

Hsu Hao

A member of the Red Dragon, Hsu Hao infilitrated the Special Forces base and aided them in eliminating the Black Dragon clan. Once the Black Dragon was seemingly destroyed, Mavado ordered Hsu Hao to remain under cover until further notice. This came when Mavado ordered Hsu Hao to destroy the Outworld Investigation Agency's portal to Outworld, using an Ion Pulse bomb, Hsu Hao set it next to the portal, before jumping through himself. He then set out to find Mavado to receive his next objective.

It can be assumed that Hsu Hao found Mavado, who then told him to eliminate Shang Tsung, since there was evidence that Shang Tsung had aligned with Moloch and Drahmin, two oni that wanted Quan Chi dead. But... unfortunately for Hsu Hao, Jax had other ideas. Wanting to make Hsu Hao pay for his betrayal, Jax ripped out Hsu Hao's cybernetic heart.

Blaze

Blaze is a elemental, I know what Blaze is setting out to do, but for the sake of spoilers, I won't say. Some time ago, he fought the Dragon King's Holymen in Outworld, who enslaved him to guard the Dragon Egg until it hatched. When it did, Blaze was free to go about on his merry way.

It is known because of his Mortal Kombat Unchained bio, he is to awaken two brothers, one of which has awoken prematurely.

Mokap

Mokap is a motion capture man and martial arts expert, who Johnny Cage uses frequently in his films. That's it really.

Hsu Hao: Don't really like him, but I think he'll die.

Blaze: Well, since just about everyone knows by now that Blaze is going be the boss of Armageddon, he may be the only character in Armageddon who has a worthwhile story.

Mokap: Who honestly cares?

HSU HAO:
Remember that message from MKD Konquest mode, "Will Hsu Hao return from the dead? Err.....probably NOT", I believe that was a hint. When Jax ripped out Hsu Hao's cybernetic heart, I don't believe he ever died, but was merely wounded. Now he is back, and I see not better way for his story to go then to seek revenge on Jax. Since Hsu Hao is infinitely less popular than Jax, I think Jax will defeat Hsu Hao.

BLAZE:
Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
Blaze was created to monitor the strength of the world's strongest warriors. Once they were to become too strong, he was to awaken Taven and Daegon to somehow prevent Armageddon. But Taven had awaken early.

I think that Blaze will no doubt be extinguished by the end of MKA. I think a confrontation between Taven and Blaze will occur with Taven as the victor.

MOKAP:
I actually like Mokap. He was a great fighter in MKDA, and I really hope to see his story expand. What we know about him is that he is great at Martial Arts and did some Motion Capture work for Cages movies.

I think Mokap will have a storyline involved with the OIA. Johnny Cage probably had seen his vast Martial Arts expertise and introduced him to Sonya, thinking he would be an asset to the OIA. I say this because it would (1) give him an interesting story and (2) give him some interaction with Kenshi. The reason I think he needs to interact with Kenshi is because he seems to have some new Telekinetic powers in the videos, and I think this would be a good way to explain it.
