Hey here are three things which I hope is going to be intergrated into MK:Deception.

BODY DAMAGE

Ok, in MKDA it wasn't too bad, but in MK6 I'd like them to take what they did in MKDA and times it by a hundred.
With the body damage i think they should use tao feng as a reference so for body damage they should have theses factors :

- facial - bruising, cuts, dirt,blood
- broken appendages : no longer able to be used (effects certain moves, etc)
- Limping/hunching
- Blood leaving marks on body
- ripped/removeable clothing(to a certain extent)
- Visible cuts,slashes, holes in body (if impaled a hole is there etc)
- dirtied, bloddied clothing
- To extreme extents, you could tear off/cut off.
apendages.
- etc.

ENVIROMENT EFFECTS
Ok we know that there are multi tiered arenas and interactive areas to bash your opponent about in so what about things that can effect the player?

- In hot arenas the character could sweat/ damp clothing etc.- could become slow due to heat.
-It cold arenas the characters could shiver, exhale cold air, very stiff.
-In muddy areas, clothing and bodies could become covered in dirt and mud.Edning up driping with mud, completely caped in it.
-In areas involving water the players can become very wet, very heavy and water dripping everywhere, also when blood lands in the water that would look really cool, as to the end of the fight you could be fighting in a pool of blood, up to your knees even.
- arenas involving lava/flames - the characters could get brunt - visible on skin- clothing scorched - black or disintergrating - hair singed etc.
- lighting is also to play a very important factor too.

These little details really contribute to the fighting and they really do make the game stand out, i would even pay midway to include those.

In-Depth Gameplay

For MKDA gameplay was very shallow. Looking at DOA3 or VF4 there is a great depth of gameplay in them. And if MKD was to have in-depth gameplay then it is to sure be a fighting game classic.MKDA's main flaw was the shallow gameplay.

and finally.........

Blood effects

Like I said before (see Enviroment effects) blood should be very realistic.

- Instead of splotches on the floor (like in mkda) they should have little drops (like a character spitting blood) and if there was enough blood it could create puddles causing characters to slip and slide in it.
- They should have blood splattering the walls too.
-this is truly the most IMPORTANT thing with the blood. Don't do a MKDA on us - huge jellyish chunks falling of the body - make it little trails leaving a mark (see body damage) - when the fight is over the are saturated in the red stuff.
- Blood colours. Now I thought they done an awful blood job on the fatalities for example: reptile is on the recieving end of the fatality (kitanas kiss) he explodes with green blood with red chunks! same with cyrax- he is a robot.
If CYRAX is in MKD then when he recives damage make him dent and bits of metal crack of and sparks, and cables/wire. And have only a little bit of the black liquid (OIL?). And when he is recieving a fatality make it all electrical/mechanical bits and pieces.

There you go, thats everything I want covered - gald I got it off my fucking chest.
I know the MAJORITY of you will agree on EVERYTHING I said, but if you would like you can add your own thoughts and ideas on the matter, thanks for reading.

WOW,you have some really good ideas, and I agree with most of them. Thestory inMK:DA was kind of so-sothey REALLY LEFT A LOT UNANSWERED!! I don't Know thought I dolike the Idea of the Dragon King story Even though they really fucked upreptile in MK:DA, he looked mor like the LORD of the Flies or something anyway . IthinkThat he should be the dragon king in deception but heis only the new arised Generalfor the Outworld Army. What happened to Khann? khan was killed but what if some one entered his mangled body,it could be anyone my hope is ermac "sincehe is made upof many souls he would have greater powerthink ShoaKhan on CRaCK"or one of the Onis, there storys could have been better. at the end of MKDA we really don'tknowwhat happenstothe "Alliance"but my guess is a warbreaksout Between Tsung and CHi each recruiting there own allies and of course some of there alliesareinit forthemselves,you kjnow some classic MK shit =.

sindel (must be able to fly still) kitana (with her normal fan throw.unlike in mk da) kumg lao ( hat throw from mk2..and slice fatal from mk2) like another poster said which i think is a good idea, only 2 fighting styles hand to hand and weapon..

You do have alot of good ideas, man. There is only one problem that I see. You can only fit so much information onto a disc. You have to work within the confines of the system and you have to finish by a deadline. I'm sure that alot of people like your ideas, alas there is but precious room on a disc and so much shit to fill it with.

1. More brutal, highly, highly, intensive to-the-point fatalities. (The Kung Lao split-'em-in-two fatality from MKII MUST come back!)

2. More detailed, AND distinguished GORE (Not Al Gore!) I mean guts, organs, veins, bones, meat, fluids of all sorts (snot, barf, sweat, saliva, AND blood).

3. Full-sound, full-action, ANIMATED CG CHARACTER ENDINGS of DECENT LENGTH!!

Come on, guys, these are three OF THE BEST IDEAS any MK fan could ever ask for! Let's get some support going! I'm going to start some topics under these names, please support them by responding to them a lot. We want Ed Boon and The MK gang to notice!

Keep them coming, man. We should collaborate to make the next MK or something. Somehow, we need to get all of these great ideas noticed by more people on these GREAT messageboards, and by the great MK team at Midway!

Let's keep posting.

1. More DISTINGUISHED AND DETAILED gore. (snot, saliva, barf, bile, sweat, and blood!)

2. More highly-intense, straight-to-the-point, heavily shocking, and brutal fatalities.

3. Character endings that are FMVs (Full-Motion Videos), also could be called CGs (computer-generated).

It'd be great for the fatalities to go into an almost cinematic sequence but with more dramatic action.. like for instance if Kung Lao did a hat fatality similar to that in MK3 where he threw it off the screen and it came back and forth slice the opponent up..

So he throws the hat horizontal and the cammera pans in on it and then pans out to show it take one leg off. The camera then stops at the victim and does a half rotation around to the other side of him/her (with the good leg).

You hear the hat but you cant see it obviously and all of a sudden it's coming vertically and goes through in their back and out their chest leaving them a pretty bad heap on the ground. It would also be sweet if the hat missed once as the victim were trying to retain balance on one leg in shock.

The camera would then follow the hat shortly to Kung Lao's hand.

Just really cool cinematics to dramatize what the victim is experiencing. Of course not all fatalities would require such camera but of course the appropriate camera angles.

As far as the ridiculousness of fighting allies, as mentioned above, if it is as it should be, a fighting tournament, there should be fights of allies--this adds to the drama and is not ridiculous but inevitable.

I'd like each character to have their own unique voice. It'd make it a little more entertaining. I'd like more dvd content and a deeper combo and reversal system. Plus unique and quality fatalities.

today when i was reading up on this wish list something popped in my head. First i think they need to have fmv endings, pleeeeeease don't have text endings, i can't stand them. anyways, a idea they could have about the fmv endings taking too much space would be to have a 2nd disc just for the endings and maybe some special features like they had on mkda. now i know what your thinking, why doesn't everybody just go straight to the 2nd disc and watch the endings without even playing the game. well what if you had to have a password or a code or sorts, and that you could only get the code by beating the game. then you would be rewarded the password for that fighters fmv ending. tell me what you guys think that would be alright or not?

All of you guys bring up very great ideas personaly id like to see create a character reptile mk2 dayz if not leave him just like mkda but w/a ninja costume, very dark atmosphere & storyline and some characters other than that everything stated earlier are alright with me smile

I have a simple wishlist.

1 - Bring back Sektor, Kabal, Shinnok, Stryker, and hopefully thats Nightwolf that we are all talking about.

2 - Only 1 fighting style and able to use a weapon.

3 - All fighters need the uppercut, roundhouse, and sweep kick.

4 - More detail put into the Fatalities.

--missles, teleport, little slower then Cyrax, involve his story with Cyrax and lead to Sub Zero wenever Sub/Mavado's story closes

-no retarded rock band video
-halfway decent unlockables
--keep the extra outfits, secret characters, and anything to do with the story, lose the pictures
-minigames only if there is a point like MKDA had
-tell Konami to make a new Castlevania game from 2D on a new generation system (prefeably XBOX) and see how big and endless it could be
--sorry had to throw that in
-take full advantage of each systems capabilities, dont limit on one system (XBOX) to make it equal to another (PS2) (said but not confirmed)
-dont kill off Cyrax...my gosh anyone but Cyrax
-stick with the old roots a little more, without the babality/friendship crap, and not too fond of brutalities (so far, so good looking at MKDA)
-either keep Johnny Cage to live or kill him and KEEP HIM DEAD, at least Mileena was already dead, in a way...
-no Mokap (dumbest thing theyve ever done), Blaze (not original whatsoever), Bo Rai Cho (2nd dumbest thing theyve ever done), Li Mei (ripoff of Mileena in some ways, lose those ways and we have a decent character lacking a good story), or Hsu Hao (no point)
-once again, change Cyrax's story!!! he used to be in the thick of the plot in the older games...but hes getting ruined, no wonder some of these ppl think hes boring

My only wish is the Midway finds a way to use the PS@'s new HDD. Make characters, costumes, arenas and other extras downloadable from the internet. The HDD is a 40 GB hard drive. You could save cuite a bit on there. I think it would be a great idea.

I don't know if anyone else has said this, but the main thing i want from MK:Deception is for the PAL version to be released at the same time as the NTSC version.

Well atleast not 5 mths after like MKDA! I want the chance of discovering a few things at the same time as everyone else.

OK, I want a mentally challenged fighter, a physically challenged fighter, an animal (oh wait, we have a green ugly one?), and a punching bag or a dummy. If you could add a fat woman that would be great too. Due to the society today, none of this would happen. Perhaps the animal, but nothing more. I think I've proven myself just by stating this, so there is no need to take bets. No self-reliance lies within us today, therefore we follow the media as one, and call ourselves society; uncounscious.

Keep in mind people that there is only around 6 full months of development left if the game is to be released this Fall (fall, not winter)...so what Boon and Co. need to be working on first and foremost is gameplay!
