My theory on where Sub-Zero's character is going.
His new armor seems to be that of a King. This is implied by Sub-Zero's combos "The King's Krown" and some other one that mentions a "Shogun" (I'm blanking.)
It is worth noting that Sub-Zero is the only person opposing Onaga that The Dragon King sent an assassin to deal with him personally. This strengthens the proof that Onaga sees Sub-Zero as a threat to his rule.
As for Sub-Zero's voice, I always saw him as having a deep voice, but being somewhat soft spoken. You have the remember, this isn't a harsh or angry man. Sub-Zero is the type who's constantly looking out for others (Frost, Smoke, Kenshi, and even Noob Saibot.) For him to have a harsh angry voice would be out of character. I hate his Konquest voice. It's so not him. He's not evil. He's a hero. He needs something a bit warmer.

Sub-Zero, Sub-Zero. My favorite character and the current badass of the series (since Scorpion's been effectively neutralized in that regard.)
Appearance:
I really loved his alternate MK:DA costume and I'm glad it's now his default. His MK:D armor look grew on me, though I wouldn't mind seeing his "classic" Lin Kuei outfit pop in just once, or have a younger, unmasked version of him as well.
Storyline:
I love Subby's story. It is so "open". While I know a lot of them aren't canon, Sub-Zero easily has the widest assortment of people he's pissed at and people pissed off at him.
Noob Saibot- his brother and now an evil wraith. The two must fight, and either Sub-Zero will "redeem" his brother or be forced to kill him (I doubt Subby will get killed in the fight, either way.)
Sektor- he's become a big threat. He has an army that can rival the Lin Kuei. However, he lost to Sub-Zero before, and Sub-Zero has gotten much stronger since. I see nothing but a crushing defeat for the almighty Sektor.
Frost- she betrayed him. I don't know how he'll ever trust her again, or whether she'll even want his trust back. Her intentions are clear. However, she remains his most pivotal "failure", and he may yet seek to amend his mistake.
Hotaru- last we heard, was after Sub-Zero. Since neither he nor Subby appear to be dead, I'm assuming neither Kenshi nor Hotaru's ending happened, and he could still be on the prowl for Sub-Zero's life.
Kenshi- a comrade, but not necessarily a friend. Both are skilled warriors and I can see them teaming up once more.
Sareena- she's going to be a key player, I think. She was taken in by the younger Sub-Zero in trust and kindness, something she hasn't known since the original Sub-Zero spared her life. It's obvious she had feelings for the original Sub-Zero, but the man she cared for is long gone, and the new Sub-Zero possesses the traits she felt attracted to in the original Sub-Zero. She'll have to make a decision and side with someone, either her past or her future.
Baraka- though he never had much interest in Sub-Zero, Subby did kill a large number of his warriors single-handedly. He may want payback, but with everything else going on, I doubt this'll happen.
Scorpion- his one time arch-nemesis, the two either deserve a fitting final fight or should at last throw off their strained past and team up to take down the greater evil.
Quan Chi- remains a central villain. Scorpion seems to hate him most, but Quan Chi did manipulate Sub-Zero as well and cause both of them a lot of emotional (and physical) pain.
Smoke- is obviously a good soul forced to do wrong things. Noob Saibot, however, is evil in soul. Sub-Zero might be able to save Smoke, or Smoke will conquer his evil programming. I can see Smoke sacrificing himself for Sub-Zero, however.
Mavado- though the plotline never developed, Mavado expressed great interest in destroying the "threat" that was the Lin Kuei to his Red Dragon society. We'll see how that pans out now that Kano and the others are back alive.
Onaga- I don't care what anyone else says; Sub-Zero has some connection to Onaga. His ancestors were from Outworld, where Onaga once ruled. His armor is the Dragon Armor; Onaga, the Dragon King. His fighting stance is Dragon. Maybe it's just coincidence, but I'd loved to see something develope from that.
Fighting Styles:
-Dragon is a keeper, but make it faster, a bit stronger, with some more combos.
-The Ice Sword, of course, is a keeper.
Fatalities:
-He's the master of ice. Be original. He could kill them in so many different ways....
Future(?):
Sub-Zero will probably remain a member of the MK universe when everything wraps up and will probably survive. If that's so, either his aging will cease (either made young again or obtain immortalitity and become the next "Raiden" style element god...
), or he'll have an heir to his powers take his place (maybe Frost, but I don't think so. Maybe a son, though I wonder who the mother would have to be....)
He could, however, die and be replaced by....
Noob Saibot, who would somehow revert back to his human, ice form, but I think that would be a terrible waste.
Frost, who would fill the shoes nicely, if somewhat egotistically.
Regardless, Sub-Zero the 7th, will probably stick around for some time (I'm crossing my fingers for the "Ice God" concept.)

To Bad_Boy: Try a combo like this:
Starting in Kori Blade
B + 2..CS ~ 1, 2 ~ 1, 2, 4, CS, 2, CS
It does 46 - 51 % damage depending on how well you get the hits in.
To Vasculio: I don't agree with the Lin Kuei/Jedi Council analogy.
To Pinemartin: If you're going to post in my thread, post something constructive, otherwise, don't bother posting in it at all.
To ErmacMk5: Actually, it was Baraka who informed Hotaru of Sub-Zero, thus Hotaru's determination to capture Sub-Zero. For Sub's voice, imo, it should be something a bit icy and definitely something serious.
To Garlador: I don't buy the whole Sub-Zero/Onaga armor connection theory. I think Sub-Zero using Dragon style Kung Fu has more to do with the Dragon Medallion. For the Dragon style, they need to make U + 4 (Wheel Turning Kick) a mid attack once again. It would also be great if D + 2 were to be a launcher again like in MKDA.

Question:
Is noob the original sub zero? Weren't there 2 sub zeros? Will they include both in the game? I doubt it, but fill me in please.
Thanks

Noob Saibot is the character that spawned from the dead Sub-zero the older.
The Sub-Zero in trilogy is completely non canonical. There is only one Sub-zero now. There were never 2 Sub-Zeros after Noob Saibot was created.

Ok so Elder Sub Zero had noob and baby sub zero (who are brothers?). Elder dies. Now there are just the brothers?

I definitely want to see some kind of Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Noob-Saibot triangle storyline something like this...
Since MKD, Noob has secured his place in the Netherrealm as its leader giving him the ability to control all of the demons there. Then I think that Noob, while still in control of Smoke, joins forces with Sektor and his Tekunin creating a very powerful threat to the realms, one that could actually challenge Shao Kahn or Onaga for supreme rule now that Shao Kahn nor Onaga are no longer ruler(s) of Outworld. Noob and Sektor could then implement Noob's plans for a cyborg-demon army.
Quan-Chi would see this threat as an opportunity and join Noob and Sektor bringing his sorcerer powers into the mix fulfilling his opportunistic self-seeking want-to-live ego as a true villain would. He would probably realize that since things are in complete chaos and all of the warriors are fighting, joining them could potentially keep himself alive and accomplish some of his other goals at the same time.
Along the way, realizing the new threat, Sub-Zero and Scorpion would join forces to defeat them. Sub-Zero to either turn or destroy his brother and free Smoke, and Scorpion to finally get his revenge on Quan-Chi, plus, being the champion of the Elder gods, if that is even the case now, perform his duty to stop such a threat. They realize that they need more than the two of them and recruit Kenshi, Cyrax and Sareena. Cyrax would join for the chance to maybe save Smoke which is also Sub-Zero's goal and Sareena would join for the chance to finally help destroy Noob or help turn him as well. Ashrah is then recruited due to her similar goals with Noob. Kenshi would join for the chance to stop this force and fight along side Sub-Zero once again.
Moloch and Drahmin (I hope this is the new Drahmin from the MKDA ending) would then join Noob, Quan, and Sektor group being that they are from the Netherrealm and would probably want to ensure that they survive by securing a place with the Netherrealm's new ruler. (All past issues between them and Quan-Chi are overlooked for survivals sake.)
Noob could finally make is cyborg-demons using the Tekunin. Sektor and Noob both want the Lin Kuei and Sub-Zero destroyed. Quan-Chi wants Scorpion dead and vice versa.
Sub-Zero and the Lin Kuei
Scorpion
Cyrax
Ashrah
Sareena
Kenshi
vs.
Noob-Saibot
Quan-Chi
Sektor and the Tekunin
Smoke
Moloch
Drahmin
Frost
I think this would be epic in proportions. I think that the story should continue like this...
(Aboard the Tekunin ship)
While Noob and Sektor are creating the cyborg-demon army, not yet complete, they are attached by the Sub-Zero/Scorpion group. The Lin Kuei warriors attach the cyborg-demons, Sub-Zero goes for Noob while Scorpion goes for Quan-Chi. Cyrax and Sektor face off, while Smoke (who is helpless at this point during the cyborg-demon creating process), (Cyrax's goal is to interface with Smoke to get control of him away from Noob). Sareena and Ashrah face off with Moloch and Drahmin. Kenshi and Frost face off.
During the battle Cyrax kills Sektor, then rushes to Smoke to connect with him, but Smoke unexpectedly unchanged, kills Cyrax. During the fight Ashrah kills Moloch but Drahmin kills Sareena. Ashrah and Drahmin both badly damaged from the fighting take on eachother. Weakened from the process and the fight with Cyrax, but now revived, Smoke attempts to help Noob. While watching the fight Smoke then gets confused with his programming to hate and destroy Sub-Zero with his past memories and does not act while he is fighting to get control of himself.
Ashrah finally kills Drahmin but is mortally wounded. Then she tries to go help Sub-Zero and Scorpion. Smoke sees this and his programming tells him to kill Ashrah, which he does. Then he turns his attention back to the Sub/Noob fight, fighting with all his energy to not get involved against his conflicting thoughts. Frost then kills Kenshi.
The Lin Kuei are being defeated by the cyborg-demons and are now outnumbered. They finally are defeated.
Scorpion then kills Quan-Chi, only after Quan-Chi opened a portal to escape realizing his ultimate defeat is at hand. The portal stays open. Scorpion then goes after Smoke.
During the battle the ship is completely damaged and on fire and about to blow up.
Almost defeated, Noob takes Frost hostage as an attempt to stop Sub-Zero by using his former student hoping Sub-Zero still cares about her. Sub-Zero is unaffected and says there is no salvation for her and Frost realizing that Noob will kill her and tries to get free, Noob kills Frost by stabbing her in the back because if he doesn't now it will be two on one. The fight commences and Sub-Zero finally defeats Noob and then stops Scorpion from killing Smoke. The cyborg-demons surround Sub-Zero, Scorpion and Smoke. Smoke tries to gain control of them but cannot . Sub-Zero suggests entering the portal to escape the ship blowing up and the remainder of the cyborg-demons. Smoke, then almost at dead, tells Sub-Zero he wants to stay behind to ensure that the cyborg-demons do not survive. Sub-Zero, unhappy but lets his friend die with honor, agrees and Sub-Zero and Scorpion get away by jumping into the portal. The ship is destroyed along with all of the remains of Smoke, Noob, Quan, Sektor, the Tekunin, the cyborg-demons, the Lin Kuei, Ashrah, Sareena, Moloch, Drahmin, Cyrax, Frost and Kenshi.
As the portal shuts behind them, Sub-Zero and Scorpion realize that they have no idea where they are and this realm they are in is nothing they have ever seen before. The new beginning to the rest of Mortal Kombat...
The End.

Well, seems you've broken a few rules here:

2- Excessive smilies.
3- Spam.
I'll cut you a break because you're new, but do it again and you're in trouble.
