Dammit...where'd u read that...that's cold (not intending a pun) killing Frost. She coulda been the next Subby (since he's turning old anyway)...None of her styles are used in deception, so maybe...I hope I hope I hope...

Frost could damn near replace sub, she's better on the eyes

Don't make me laugh. Games are not about being turned on by the character you play as or looking at them even. You should be looking at your opponent, not yourself.
Anyways, it's good news to me. I'm glad she died, she was lame.

Great news!!!
Who cares? They'll just bring her back for MK7.
Death means nothing in MK. As far as I know only one dead character has remained that way(original Subby). There's nothing to worry about, and even if she stays dead (don't bet on it) it's just a video game, you guys will move on(I hope).
YESSS, i hatee frost a lot >/ only subby can have the freezing abilities, for me she was created by lazyness of the creators...in mk7 well have a ninja guy throwing fans or a ninja girl with scorpion spear, give me a break, DIE FROST DAUGHTER OF A BITCH =)

Frost's death was bound to happen, but nobody really stays dead in the MK Realm.

im glad she's dead myself; and if they try to pull the same sh*t with scorpion i'd be seriously pissed off. leave the orginals alone.

Damn, I was hoping that she would be in Deception. IMO she was one of the few interesting characters in DA.

what is the mk team's purpose of saying she's dead, then putting her in the prison stage???... then again, it is MK Deception
anyway I wish she would return! Who better to be in deception than the one who deceived Sub-zero!

It looks like the characters in the prison stage are just easter eggs. No matter, it's still cool to see them. I mean, everytime you go there, the characters in the cells alternate. It's not always the same. So, yeah, it's just easter eggs.

This is very bad news and very disappointing. Of all the characters they could have killed, why Frost?
Her story had so much potential for it to continue. She was a great character and no clone of Sub-Zero. She was so much better than him it was ridiculous. This is one fave I've lost now. I can't believe they killed her.

IMO Frost was as interesting as a marble...but that's just if you ask me.If she actually didn't have subs old moves and a fatality that didn't resemble the snes version of his in mk1,I may have liked her.

so wat she sucked anyway

Well, I think this is bad news. Frost is one of my favorite new characters from MK: DA and I felt she had lots of potential.
I really don't see how Frost is a Sub-Zero clone or that she's a rip-off. Her Ground Freeze works differently from Sub-Zero's Freezing moves and as for the Icy Slide, she learned that from Sub-Zero as well as Yuan Yang.
And yes, she does have personality. She is very arrogant and desired to impress Sub-Zero, secretly hoping to take his place as Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei.
I know this may sound a bit biased since I'm a Sub-Zero fan, but there is no way that Frost could ever replace Sub-Zero. He is a very essential character in the storyline.
Anyway, it doesn't make sense for Frost's ending to happen since the way it seemed as if the Deadly Alliance was defeated and that Frost and Sub-Zero headed back to Earthrealm, but Sub-Zero was still in Outworld and the Deadly Alliance had not been defeated.

"Well, I think this is bad news. Frost is one of my favorite new characters from MK: DA and I felt she had lots of potential."
Although I don't agree with you on Frosts potential, I'm sorry that you lost one of your favorite Kombatants.
"I really don't see how Frost is a Sub-Zero clone or that she's a rip-off. Her Ground Freeze works differently from Sub-Zero's Freezing moves and as for the Icy Slide, she learned that from Sub-Zero as well as Yuan Yang."
1) Her whole character theme is far too similar when comparing her to Sub-Zero. Not very chreative at all in my opinion. It's not like two half demon warriors who- while both being half demons- still look totally different and have completely different themes. The character Frost, was a cheap attempt to capatalize off of Sub_zero's insane popularity, plain and simple. I'm sure that the MK team (Boon aside who would never approve the idea) would love to make a female "Scorpion like" character, but they know that at this point there is absolutely no way that they could sell that one to the fans.
2) Frost used all of Sub-Zero's old moves from other MK games, and in my opinion, would only take away dev polishing attention and other *cool* possibilities from Sub-Zero in the future. There is only a finite amount of characters that the MK team can fit into their MK games, and in my opinion there's only room for one *cold* bad@ss in the MK universe at this point.
3) If Sub-Zero fans think that Frost was cool, then I bet Scorpion fans would think a female specter ninja named "Stinger", would be totally awesome. She could have fiery red hair and wear yellow/gold and black. She could shoot out projectile blasts of hellfire, and have a handful of small spears come up from the ground to impale her enemies (at which point she would yell "STAY THERE!"). Sound good? I hope not because I think that the idea is seriously and completely retarded.
"And yes, she does have personality. She is very arrogant and desired to impress Sub-Zero, secretly hoping to take his place as Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei."
A character that is arrogant isn't at all special or unique. Yeah, she has a different personality then Sub-Zero, but I don't see how that justifies keeping her in the line up, when a much more creative character could be given the same personality overnight.
"I know this may sound a bit biased since I'm a Sub-Zero fan, but there is no way that Frost could ever replace Sub-Zero. He is a very essential character in the storyline."
She *was* an essential character for Sub-Zero's storyline, but just because this single MK game character was intertwined with Sub for one game, certainly does not bind her to him.
"Anyway, it doesn't make sense for Frost's ending to happen since the way it seemed as if the Deadly Alliance was defeated and that Frost and Sub-Zero headed back to Earthrealm, but Sub-Zero was still in Outworld and the Deadly Alliance had not been defeated."
No one said that either Sub's or Frost's ending actually happened exactly the way it was shown in MK:DA. The MK team could have been giving us *possible* endings for the characters, which may end up being *partly* true in MK:D.
