Yeah they are pretty fuckin' ugly. It's a shame because they are detailed and well coloured... but then the proportions are just... well, ugly.

You know what they could have done.

There is a company I forgot what it's called, but they can take 3D models like from the Computer.

Then they have a machine that sculpts that model using the information from the computer. So the toy you end up with looks exactly like the 3D model.

I think they should have done that instead.

I'd also like it if they could get some real cloth in there, and maybe get some kind of rubber for the skin to hide the articulation joints.

I have a Wrestling Toy that has the skin like that, It's rubber then it has a skeleton inside, like a stick figure. Then all the joints move and it looks real.

Only thing is that the rubber gets old and starts to rip around the shoulders.

There should be a way around that though, just use a better material.

Out of those 4 not so great looking figures, I think Baraka is the better looking one.

these cant be the final looks,i was really looking forward to these figures ever since the beginnig,these suck,and if u saw the pic of the clay or whatever material earlier models , they were looking way better than this.think about it

they look half assed, wtf even the old line of mk figures looked better than these. Hopefully noob smoke looks better. as for the alt figures that were posted, they look a hundred times better, why dont they just mod them to be the real ones?

yeah kind of dissapointing. Baraka and Scorpion are the best IMO. I'll still get them all. They are highly articullated and might look better posed around. Funny thing though if thease are based on Deceptions why is it not "evil" Raiden? Ahwell nothing a little paint won't fix eh? Also getting mulltiple Barakas might be cool.

Right, the ones we saw earlier in just clay looked 100 times better than these.

If they make some much better looking statues instead like with the Mc.Farline toys then I'll buy it for sure. More stuff like the Goro statue

Hm, I wonder if it'd be profitable for them to sell the clay figures without the paint, and then have use paint them ourselves, like the Japanese resin statues/garage kits. I'd be all for that :D
