Well actually, my answer would be a combo of A and B. I did love him, but it would be great to see him remade. Sorry if I make no sense.

If and only if:
There is a good explaination as to his absence
and
If you can make him a fun character to use like he was in MKT.

Stryker isn't someone I'd like to see back, but ny old character returning is fine with me as long as they have a decent story and some proper purpose for being around and a little potential. Sryker is one character that needs serious development in those areas. If they can do something really spectacular with him, then he should return.

Personally, I think it would be cool if Sonya recruited Stryker into the SF, after he was recommended to them by Raiden. Perhaps Raiden saw his potential and heart in MKT, so he thought they could use him.
Oh and by the way, I signed that petition before.

For anyone no STRYKER is not dead, they killed him in Anihilation, movie and game story lines are wayyyyyyy different.

Analyzing this dialogue, Rain either didn't kill them and that obviously pissed off Kahn, or Rain went soft and killed them lightly, still pissing off Kahn.

If my first inference is correct, Rain probably meant when he said taking them, he could mean apprehending, and Kahn just misunderstood him before.

Either way, he wasn't in the movie, but bring him back if you change him for the better.

The movie doesn't affect the game. in the game kabal was killed by Mavado (if he is actually dead...)...not by khan's extermination squads...

-Rain said "Taken" meaning apprehended or killed

Option B makes no sense. Completely redoing his character, story, style, yadda yadda.. Why not just make a new, GOOD character from scratch? Stryker was crap, Jax has his gun move now (with PERSONALITY) and there was zero substance to Curtis in the first place.

Everyone around him dies and he's left fine 'coz he's a chosen one. Whoopdee friggin crapola! He's just a regular cop who looks like Woody Harrelson. Leave him home with his mom and let the FIGHTERS fight.

I like the way that sounds. Hair dryers do not come with taser attachments. ICEman put it well, if you're gonna make him all cool and mega SWAT man-like, might as well make a new character.
