Why does it matter(13) and I didn't think I would, but when I saw Liu Kang I let out a small scream. He doesn't look zombish or spiritish to me...

I am trying to get an idea of the maturity or the Lui Pro camp. Age, although not always a perfect indicator, does give some idea of maturity. For example, a 13 year old is more likely to be happy with the return of an old character reagrdless of how badly it affects and cheapens the plot. Someone more seasoned on fiction may find these stunts more distasteful and feel a cheapening effect.

So far the trend has been

Teen years=Pleased

It actually doesnt disprove my theory. I was looking for trends, and in trends there are always deviations from the norm. You are one of those deviations who in my opinion has a more matured taste in fiction.

This topic is stupid. Does it really matter how old everyone is? It would have been better off if the topic was just "Who is happy with Liu Kang's return?" You can't even spell his name right, so theres no way you should even be allowed to make a topic as stupid as this. What does everyone's age have to do with anything at all?

You don't like a storyline twist and so you have to make a thread about it. And just to skew the results you have to throw in something completely irrelevant like a person's age. You call yourself mature and yet you're whining about how you can't deal with this happening. And naturally, anyone who disagrees must be wrong. Sounds quite childish to me.

I'm dissapointed because Kang's death in Deadly Alliance was a huge plot twist for Mortal Kombat. Now it seems as if they've simply disregarded those events. However, it's MK, and you can't take it too seriously. So I'm willing to read his story and live with it. Hell, how can I complain when I've got Ermac, Kabal, Baraka and Ashrah.....plus suicides and death traps!
